    XFINITY is a division of the Comcast company. XFINITY sells cable television, Internet, and telephone services to customers across much of the United States. I have been a customer of XFINITY for almost a decade. Currently, I use only their cable and Internet. Their prices are high, but the cable and Internet have reliable connections. In the past, my husband called XFINITY's customer service department to change our plan so we could watch local sports teams, and the representative told us the wrong thing. We ended up calling them again and changing our plan back to the original one. Recently, I needed to have XFINITY mark the locations of their wires in my yard prior to a digging project. An XFINITY employee arrived on time and accurately marked the locations of the wires.

    Worst run company ever . Use your credit card to pay for something then DON'T do anything else or they automatically put you in auto pay

    I feel like my story is the same as many others. I signed up in 2013 and was OK with signing a 5…read moreyear contract in return for free equipment and install. However, the warranty on that equipment doesn't last long and then they want more money to fix anything that breaks. Then, as soon as that 5 years was up, they jack up your rate with no notice. I called in back then to ask if there was any way tog et the old rate back and they agreed to lower it. The lady was super smooth - told me I just had sign some paperwork for the discount and here it was another 5 year contract. Unlike some others I see on here, I did actually notice and told her I was not interested to sign a contract - that I was just go with a cheaper company. She then heavily implied that this was just a formality and she just needed the paperwork for her files to get the discount through. It was COVID and I was tired and dumb and believed her. Now of course my 10 year old equipment is completely non-functional and we no longer even need the system in our new place and we are getting charged a fee to cancel. Any company that relies on early termination fees to keep their customers STAY AWAY. Go with Simplisafe. You'd honestly be better off putting the equipment on credit than taking free equipment from these people.

They also cost $600/year, Which is $400 more than something like Ring. Then, if you decide to cancel, they charge you $35/month times the remainder of your contract. They want $1500 just to cancel. Absolutely disgusting, Predatory even. I cannot wait to cancel in 4 years......... Yes the whole thing is legal. But its gross.

I was just about to leave on vacation and was trying to make a copy of our…read morekey for the guys who was covering for me in my store, but none of the copies were working: there had just been too many copies of copies and the door wouldn't budge. A few of my other employees had been complaining that their keys weren't easy to turn, so I decided on the last day to just get the locks redone. Barrier was willing to come out the same day, even though they had a full schedule, which I appreciated despite the extra fee for the late appointment (which was my own fault for waiting so long). The best part came a little later, when they called me back and told me the good news: in a rare event, one of their appointments had canceled and they were on their way much earlier than expected. Even though I had already agreed to the charges, they did not collect the late appointment fee and just charged me the normal rate, which appreciated. Not every company would have been so honest. Shaun came and had us up and running quickly. He was really nice and super professional: my receipt was emailed to me within five minutes of him leaving the store! I plan on using Barrier every time I need new locks.
