The diagnosis was that a new fuser was necessary, and Baldur instructed us on the part to purchase and the website vendor to use. Upon receipt of the part, we noted that the part did not fit. Also, we then learned that, once opened, the part was not returnable. Surprisingly, Baldur did not, and has not, responded to my follow-up phone call and email regarding the issue. I retained another repair company who came and examined the machine. He confirmed that a new fuser was necessary and pointed out that the correct model number was on the label of the old fuser. Baldur's apparent failure to note that remains unexplained. In addition to the cost of the nonreturnable part, Baldur's fee was double that of the company who correctly resolved our problem.
