I want to especially mention the tech CHRIS who came, evaluated the problem, called inb the team to correct it and remained on the scene keeping me informed at every step. Five stars are not enough.

(1 Star) Absolutely…read morehorrible experience with Comcast. Comcast scheduled planned maintenance during normal business hours, claiming the outage would only last 2 hours. Instead, it turned into an all-day outage, leaving my business with no internet and no phone service. As a business owner, that means I couldn't operate, serve customers, or conduct business. This has caused a significant financial loss. The most frustrating part is that this wasn't an emergency--it was planned. Whoever decided to perform this maintenance during business hours showed a complete lack of consideration for businesses that depend on their services. There are 16 other hours in the day when this work could have been done with far less impact. I also spoke with Kim, a supervisor, regarding Work Order #685702. Rather than showing any concern or empathy for the financial hardship this outage caused, she was condescending and dismissive. It was clear she had no interest in helping or taking ownership of the situation. Comcast's poor planning, lack of communication, and disregard for its business customers are unacceptable. I will be requesting compensation for the revenue my business lost because of this preventable outage. After this experience, I'll be seriously looking into switching providers. If Verizon can provide more reliable service and treat its business customers with greater respect, they'll be getting my business instead.

So excited to finally CUT Comcast out for my TV service !!! When I started with them my bill was…read morearound $69.00; as of today my last bill with them was $255.00 with no big package. After being with them for 20+ years with no dedication to loyal longtime customers I'm done!! I called Comcast and tried to get them to adjust my bill and they were going to take off $10.00; I told them I have a offer for $79.99 for new customers and they weren't willing to adjust my bill. I'm tired of having to babysit my bill every month and calling them because of the price hikes! It's a monopoly...... I called DirectTV and received all the information; then calling Dish TV, I decided to go with Dish. I was so nervous about switching to totally different system and when I read the reviews and seen they were rated #1 I took the leap to give Dish a try and I picked the America's Top 350 package the best package costing us about $100 bucks; I added on a few things today so it maybe a few more bucks. Today a awesome Gentleman named Kepler came and spent hours hooking us up; showing me everything he was doing along the way! When he finally hooked up the tv's the picture was amazing and very sharp! Kepler showed me all the details I need to know to work the TV and the remotes that are voice control! So far I'm so very happy with the entire satellite Dish TV. Looking forward to saving some money! FINALLY

I have filed a complaint with DISH and contacted its Executive Complaints Department. I worked for…read moreEchoStar for 28 years. When my old receiver stopped working, I asked the service department to send me a comparable replacement because I did not want any unexpected charges. I understand that my employee discounts would end after 28 years with the company, and that is understandable. However, once the discount was removed, I was charged $178 per month for local basic channels alone. I was shocked by the amount, so the service representative transferred me to the cancellation department because the monthly charge was beyond my budget. When I spoke with the cancellation department, I was told that canceling my subscription would require me to pay $400 to return the receiver under the lease agreement. The service representative had assured me that I would owe no additional charges beyond a one-time technician fee to install the new receiver. Is DISH aware of this situation? I do not believe customers would knowingly agree to these terms, and I cannot afford even the $75 monthly bill for local channels. I was stunned to learn that canceling the service could result in a $400 receiver lease fee. If other consumers want to complain about this issue, I am willing to gather signatures from people who have had a similar experience. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I would like to join other affected consumers in filing complaints with the FCC Consumer Complaint Center, the Better Business Bureau, and the Maryland Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. I wish I could give zero stars, but Yelp does not offer consumers that option. I do not usually leave bad reviews for businesses, but after reading all the negative reviews, I feel violated and believe I have to do something about this issue. Our economy is not good right now, and this company is giving customers false information. This is not about the money; it's all about the PRINCIPLES!
