Make sure you remember to bring your cards to reload games and rides. We spent about an hour in the arcade first, which was actually really fun and had a good variety of games. After that we headed to the go karts and that's where the real competition started The karts were fast, the track was fun, and we had a blast. Note: Make sure you have a hair tie if you have long hair. Overall, such a good time and perfect for a family outing or just to do something different. We'll definitely be back!

While we've always thought the prices were high for what it is, this year, the prices for the experience was truly not worth it. They offer various packages, 1 hour, 3 hour, or unlimited. We've done all the options in the past, but this time we opted for the hour wristband as we arrived later in the evening ~ 7pm on a Friday night. We wanted her to have time inside too to play in the arcades. Time doesn't start until your first scan for a race or ride. They conveniently scanned us in for our first race and we were seated, in our car, for a solid 10 mins while they sorted out other drivers and go-karts. We got sick from exhaust blowing in our face as we sat there with all the cars running yet not moving. When we finally started the race, it was less than 5 minutes! Half of the cars were either dysfunctional or set to a slow setting with no rhyme or reason. Our next race, our daughter was so excited she is tall enough to try the sprinter car on her own (58in) so we went to check that out. We waited 10 mins for a race to finish then the worker told us she could only fit 8 racers despite there being 15+ cars. So we had to wait another round. Another 20+ mins gone. Half an hour in, we only had 2 races in. In total, we were able to get 5 races in the hour time frame (one of which was past our time limit, but the worker let us go anyway). We have been going to Mini Grand Prix for years and this was the worst experience by far. The races are shorter, the lines are longer, the wrist bands are more expensive and the facilities have not been updated. Our daughter, on her own told us, it's not the same anymore : (

I went with a Las Vegas local so the prices were admittedly lower than usual, but I still thought the general admission price was reasonable too. This is a pretty long roller coaster with lots of twists, turns, a loop, and some big drops. You don't just blink and it's over, so there was time to enjoy it. I also appreciated the fabulous view of the Las Vegas skyline and mountain ranges in the distance. They checked our harnesses twice before the ride began, so it seemed like they were committed to making the ride safe and enjoyable for all. There are convenient lockers to store bags, phones, wallets, keys, etc in and they were a good price ($1). What a fun thing to do while in Vegas! I'd highly recommend it.

First time I ever rode it, I didn't know what I was signing up for. You hear that slow click... click... click as you climb, thinking, "Alright, how bad could this be?" Then it drops and suddenly you're questioning every life decision that led you to that seat. It's fast, it feels a little wild, almost rickety like it might toss you into the Vegas skyline, and I wasn't ready for it. Not even close. But man... what a trip. And here's the thing that ride became more than just a thrill. One of the last trips I ever took with my dad, we rode that coaster together. I didn't know at the time he was sick... didn't know he had cancer. He never told me. But I remember that ride clear as day. I was focused on grabbing one of those little souvenir keychains after, something simple. He had other plans wanted the bigger photo, something we could hold onto. At the time, I didn't think much of it. Now? That picture means everything. So every time I go back to Vegas, I ride it. No questions asked. It's tradition. And for something that looks compact tucked into the Strip, this thing punches way above its weight. It hits speeds around 67 mph, throws you through a full loop and a barrel roll, and pulls enough G-force to make you feel like a fighter pilot for a few seconds. It's one of the few coasters right on a major city strip like this, and it doesn't hold back. By the time you step off, your legs are a little shaky, your stomach's doing a reset, and yeah you're probably ready to eat something. Quick tip: don't ride it at the end of a long night. Either go in fresh or give yourself some buffer after eating. This one's got some bite. I'll be honest it's not about chasing thrills like I used to. I'm not some hardcore coaster guy. But this? This is different. This is memory, adrenaline, and tradition all wrapped into one loud, fast, unforgettable ride above Las Vegas. Ride it once for the thrill. Ride it again for the ones you remember.

My son loves digging and anything construction-related, so this was basically his dream day. The whole experience was awesome from start to finish, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. They made it fun, safe, and memorable. What really stood out, though, was their honesty and attention to detail. I lost a $100 bill that day (and with the wind out there, I honestly assumed it was gone for good). I called the same day just in case it had fallen in the waiting area or near where we were operating the equipment, but I didn't have much hope. Even after we'd already been home for about a week, it was still on their radar. Then Aaron called to tell me he found the $100 bill while he was out picking up trash, and Taylor followed up right away. Anyone could've easily kept it and no one would've known, but they didn't. That kind of integrity says a lot about this place and the people who work there. We can't wait to come back, and we may even visit more often this next year. Highly recommend!

How can you go wrong with an electric powered vehicle that was designed for bumping into other cars? Well, head on collisions can really mess up your back, spine, or whatever other skeletal terms you wanna go by. That is why for this track you are only supposed to go in one direction. In this case, counter clockwise. Still you will have those people that either dont know how to drive or just wanna be idiots and bump into everybody or both. You must be 54 inches tall to drive, at least 42 to ride. Before you are even let on to the track, you have those measuring sticks there at the entrance. Make sure to buckle up or the attendant walking around will not let the fun begin. Each car can fit two people if one is not tall enough to drive. There is only the one gas pedal on the left. To slow down or stop, simply just take your foot off the pedal. Or you can just bump into somebody if you wanna stop right away. To back up towards whatever direction you wanna go just turn the steering wheel to all the way to the extreme right or left. In the end, even after all this info, some people just dont know how to drive. Dont let any of these people drive you to the hospital. If im not mistaken I think the overall time given to drive around is 5 minutes. Yelp 2014 365 Review Challenge #172 "Road rage starts here"

We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

It is a bit in the smaller side for an aquarium, and depending on how young or easily entertained your kids are, you may or may not be done quickly. I know my kids could probably be happy here for hours and hours though. If you aren't a local, then I'm not sure if the ticket price on top of having to pay for parking would feel worth it, but then again that is dependent on each person and what they want to do for their family. This was our first time to the shark aquarium, even though we've been living out here for about seven years, and also a first for me even going to Mandalay Bay despite visiting Vegas often before having kids and moving out here. Just from the area of walking to go to the ticket area inside, Mandalay seems very spacious and beautiful. We fully understood that the activity was intended for children ages 5 and up. It wasn't until we reached the very front, after waiting and getting her excited for the experience, that staff suddenly stopped us and told her she could not participate. Having to tell a child at the last second that she was no longer allowed to join after already being checked in was incredibly upsetting. Our daughter immediately started crying and was devastated. My wife and I then had to step away to comfort and carry her while everyone else continued on. Because of how poorly this was handled, neither my wife nor I were able to enjoy the experience either. The issue is not the rule itself we respected the age requirement. The problem is the complete lack of communication and professionalism. If there was an issue with her eligibility, it should have been addressed before her ticket was scanned and before we waited through the line and built up her expectations. Instead of creating a positive family memory, this experience left us frustrated, embarrassed, and deeply disappointed. We spent time, money, and effort planning this outing only to have it ruined by poor organization and careless handling of the situation. Families deserve better communication and better treatment than this.
