The Strat is a bit of a trek from the main strip but the walk had its moments which I passed by some iconic chapels. The area was a bit sketchy. But really the whole Vegas experience was. Heading to the top was a cool experience, though the weather was not favorable at all. It was so cold that I could only be on the roof deck for a minute before dashing inside. The view was worth seeing. But having a private event taking up the best indoor spot was a letdown. Still, I tried to make the most of it. Now, if there's one thing they got right was the drinks. Easily the strongest I had in Vegas, which earned them some points in my book. Seating was limited...first come first serve, which meant a lot of the available spots were filled with families and kids. Little ones running around lose. Not exactly the vibe I expected. For the price, it feels a little steep considering it's an older attraction, but it's one of those bucket list Vegas experiences you do once and move on.

We were there for two nights. Let's start from the parking lot , aesthetically was horrible the ceilings were full of shoe marks. People literally take the time to leave their shoe prints on every single lot level. Inside the Casino it seemed pleasantly clean and modern and so did our room upon arrival. As our day progressed we were regretting our booking with them. There was no ice in the ice machines. The customer service at the front desk, was useless. She said to just look for another machine. To find out none of the machines on our floor had ice. On a day where the degrees were 106 you would think they would be on top of their ice! Their blankets had HOLES on them. Here is your FIY, if you are spending the night they will not vacuum unless you request also their is no trash can in the room except for the restroom. They also do not validate your parking for your stay with them.

My boyfriend and I went Saturday, October 2 arrived at 9pm ish. We got tickets from Groupon and got the unlimited rides. This was my first time here. Tbh, I never knew there were rides on The Strat! I've been in Vegas more than 10 times and never known. It was so confusing where all the rides were since there were no one lining up for rides. You have to go to different floor if you want to ride the Big Shot. But the other 2 rides (Insanity and X-Scream) , you can stay on the same floor. When we got there, there wasn't a lot of people. All the lines to the rides were so short. We didn't even wait long. One time, we got to do it again without leaving the seats because there were no one waiting in line. If you get dizzy or kind of dizzy, I DONT RECOMMEND INSANITY. Just don't! Everyone in our group, random people, said they wanted to throw up after the ride stopped. It was super dizzy!!!! Not worth it. If you want to try it, MAKE SURE ITS THE LAST RIDE YOU GO ON!! YOU DONT WANT TO BE DIZZY AND UNABLE TO GO ON OTHER RIDES. It was the longest line too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND X-SCREAM!!! Do it multiple times if you can!!! SIT IN THE FIRST ROW!!! Trust!!!! It's the scariest if you're in the first row. You see everything and everything on the bottom of the building. It's scary after the 2nd and 3rd time riding it!!! Since there weren't any people waiting, every time we went on it, we sat on the first row. Second best is the BIG SHOT! I got to ride it twice I think. It was fun! The first time was so scary!! All the rides were open when we were there. We saw the outside and inside deck. Parking is free!!! You can bring water bottle. There are snacks and drinks inside the deck but it's expensive.

Waitress was very customer service oriented. Restaurant was clean. I was not impressed with my avocado toast. Coffee was good, prices are a bit steep.

Booked the Strat Observation & 2 Thrill Ride Pass for $27.Observation was nothing special other than looking down the Vegas city with binoculars & the 2 Thrill rides Big Shot & X-Scream was lasted just over a minute so not great at all! And top of that found out from the staff that their ride cameras stopped working so can't even get the pics of my rides! Overall very disappointing !!!

We went here initially for one ride, ended up getting unlimited rides for the whole day, all 3 rides. It was the best decision we've ever made (for that day). Unlike others, there barely any line for every rides. We tried the Big Shot, the Insanity, and something else.. I forgot the name. Everything was great except the Insanity, because it spins so fast that it made me and my husband super sick . The big shot was one of the thing that we did twice with no regrets. It was fun, enjoyable, and really cook place to visit!

Omg! I'll leave it at that! It's a must do if you come. We also took pictures while walking around the views are amazing. Drinks of course are a bit expensive, but worth it. It's a good time and memorable! They have snacks, cocktails etc at the top. The jumps , rides are crazy fun and daring

-- A must-see while in Vegas! -- It's sooooo windy up here!!!! (As to be expected) It feels like you can see the entire state of Nevada from Big Shot! Unfortunately, when it gets this windy, they close down Big Shot specifically and only allow the other rides to operate. The ride in my attached photo was by far my favorite. The claw-arm spins you and 7 others out over the entire city.. IMPORTANT: they warn you but still, shoes.. sunglasses.. & phones can plummet to certain death so be careful. Try to plan on a day that's not so windy to enjoy the full experience!! :)

The strat thrill rides are so fun to go check out if you like getting on the big rides. So to start you have to pay 30 bucks to go to the top of the stratosphere. This is a good thing and a bad thing. The good thing is that by charging this prevents the place from being over crowded at the top. The bad thing is that you have to pay to go up and for each ride you get on. But your in vegas get used to spending money lol. When you are at the top there are roller coasters, and other scary rides for thrill seekers to ride. Theres also a little snack shop that sells chips, sandwiches and alcoholic drinks. So you can but something and sit on the sofas or tables and enjoy the view. The view from the top is amazing! You literally see all of Las Vegas, and its an amazing sight to see. Pros -You see las vegas -You can chill and relax Cons -You have to pay to go up

Sooooo this was such an amazing experience and I wish I could give it a million stars BUT when we had our ticket time one of the rides were closed and unfortunately no one offered any type of compensation Or apologies Aside from that the rides are a blast (staff is serious and not fun tho) The bartender was amazing!!!!!! So check her out, the deli had a great sandwich Great spot for drinks, views, pics and adrenaline was def pumping This is a must see if ur in vegas 10/10 BUTTT call ahead and make sure the rides are open

I felt like I was traveling at light speed in a shoe box while pummeled with hockey sticks. What can you get for $25 in Las Vegas these days...? ...a hearty, calorie-dense breakfast sandwich (like a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit) at Eggslut in the Cosmopolitan... a classic Las Vegas souvenir t-shirt, a deck of commemorative casino playing cards... two pints of Guinness at Nine Fine Irishmen (New York New York) ... a $25 "gourmet" cheeseburger at various resorts and restaurants... ...OR a ride on The Roller Coaster at New York-New York, first launched in 1997 as The Manhattan Express, then named The Big Apple Coaster, and still sort of popular... mostly with Vegas virgins. There was confusion about storing our valuables... lockers, secret codes... You buy a ticket, get in line and then are told you should probably store your valuables in a locker, which you have to find and master the process for renting , opening and storing. [Tuesday midday] Short line was nice... we were with a couple of nervous teenagers there for the first time - their mom and aunt watching and waiting... Once on board, make sure to lock the seat bar down as far as you can onto you legs (more about that in a moment). Our midday experience thrust us into the blinding July summer sun blazing down upon us as we climbed to the top of the first summit - we tried to shield our eyes but it did nothing for the mounting heat that had me sweating by the top of ... THE FIRST DROP... (let your breath out slowing as you go...), then another and then you're thrown into a FULL LOOP where the centrifugal force shoves you into a pile of goo in your seat, followed by a little CORKSCREW-BARREL-ROLL maneuver and by the time you've caught your breath you hit a series of little up and down gut-sloshing, ass-smashing moves. Next thing you know, you're hurled left, then right - or maybe right then left - and up a little hill then into a CYCLONIC FUNNEL in a downward decent where you think you're done but then you hit a couple of parking lot speed bumps at maximum speed (more ass-banging) before you enter a dark tunnel where you think, "Oh God, what's next," but you get a quick glimpse into the casino right before the ride ends. Definitely a value (albeit it a different one) to the $25 cheeseburger, and more memorable than a t-shirt, just don't eat the burger before you board.

I also like doing new and different things. I've gone go-cart riding, I took a shooting lesson once, and I have gone sky diving. One thing I've always wanted to do was learn to drive a forklift so this sounded like my thing. I heard about this place while researching unique things to do in Vegas that didn't included gambling or the Casinos. Once I found there website I was excited to give them a try, but was undecided on which option to book. There were so many good ones. The idea of driving a bulldozer and another option to use an excavator and crush a car sounded exhilarating. I was a little nervous about finding a way to get there as they are so far out of the strip. I was worried that the LYFT driver wouldn't want to drive that far out of town to take us there or pick us up. They are located 20 minutes south of the Strip, which is a quick LYFT ride that costs under $40. And to be houses it can be the same amount of time to get around the strip and back to our hotel, the Rio which is off the strip at night when it's the busiest time and traffic is so heavy. The trip there is almost all freeway. I was a bit nervous when I found out you have to sign a waver not holding them liable if you get injured. The price of the big equipment is between $195- $320 ( Each sessions last between 45 to 90 minutes and range form age 8+ or16+) The most exhilarating one was $799 and you get to use an excavator to crush a car.. Now that sounded like the most fun. That's called the Aggression session and lasts 45 minutes. The age for this is 14+. Driving a bulldozer sounded fun too. Being so nervous I ended up booking the kid's dig. There you get to operate a 1.5 ton excavator. That seemed safer if they offered options for little kids and I mean little. Age 2+ can operate the excavator. Depending on their size they may have to sit on someone's lap. The kids dig is $29.50 for 15 minute increments. You can book multiple sessions. And for each session another person can be the operator. You can't split sessions between multiple people. Prior to booking I did call them and talked to Taylor I believe and she assured me as an adult without a child could partake in the Kids Dig. She assured me that other adults have done it and it's still a lot of fun. We went the last Sunday in May 2026. Our appointment was at Noon. I wanted to make sure I had enough time so I booked two 15 minute sessions. Having two sessions allowed us to each try it. My husband said he'd just watch and be my photographer, but I waned to give him the options too to try it out and he did and enjoyed it. Probably not as much as I did, but he had fun. Alex my instructor was amazing. He continued to yell out directions till I got the hang of it. I was doing it with another kid next to me and I felt Alex was really paying attention to me even though he was direction both of us. I was in heaven as I dug dirt out of the ground and created a giant hole. 15 minutes was plenty for time and I relinquished my second session to my husband. I had so much fun that I wanted to share the fun. I had trouble on my own remembering what to do so he continued to give me directions till I got the handle of it. I wonder how little kids so it as I was having difficulty remembering what to do. On the other hand kids play so many video games these days so they may be more used to this rhythm of movement. I highly reccomend this activity to everyone that is looking for something unique to do in Vegas. This was the highlight of my trip to Vegas. I'm so glad I overcame my fear of getting to and from Dig This. I felt very safe using the excavator. It's a little nerve wracking at first as you lean back a bit when you are digging. You really don't need the photo package as your companion can walk all around you and take pictures and videos. This only works if you are confident in their photography and videography skills. I had my doubts so I bought the photo package and I'm glad i did as Alex go a really good action shoot of me. And I'm a total photography lover. I like to capture the moment and I feel like the money is worth it not to miss the moment. When I went Sky diving I hired a photographer and videographer too and it was so worth it. The digital photo package with plaque is $67.93. If you just want the plaque it's $37.93. It's so much of a better deal to get the digital photo package as you get a minimum of 5 shots. We got 17 for the 2 sessions and that was of both my husband and myself. I was thrilled with Alex's photography skills and his ability to catch those action shots. If you have reservations do the Kid's dig. It's only $29.50 and have your companion take your picture and it's a total steal for all the fun you'll have.

How can you go wrong with an electric powered vehicle that was designed for bumping into other cars? Well, head on collisions can really mess up your back, spine, or whatever other skeletal terms you wanna go by. That is why for this track you are only supposed to go in one direction. In this case, counter clockwise. Still you will have those people that either dont know how to drive or just wanna be idiots and bump into everybody or both. You must be 54 inches tall to drive, at least 42 to ride. Before you are even let on to the track, you have those measuring sticks there at the entrance. Make sure to buckle up or the attendant walking around will not let the fun begin. Each car can fit two people if one is not tall enough to drive. There is only the one gas pedal on the left. To slow down or stop, simply just take your foot off the pedal. Or you can just bump into somebody if you wanna stop right away. To back up towards whatever direction you wanna go just turn the steering wheel to all the way to the extreme right or left. In the end, even after all this info, some people just dont know how to drive. Dont let any of these people drive you to the hospital. If im not mistaken I think the overall time given to drive around is 5 minutes. Yelp 2014 365 Review Challenge #172 "Road rage starts here"
