I had a free morning in Las Vegas and was deciding what to do. This was something that sounded intriguing. The description of Aggression Session got me laughing and it sounded like fun. Why pay for therapy when you can do this? I called at 9am when they opened to see if they had an opening. They said they would call me back. I wanted an 11am slot before lunch. They called back within 5 minutes and said if I came right now, they could fit me in. They do not offer to pick you up, take an Uber. I arrived about 20 minutes later. I was given a pink safety vest. I was shown a safety video that was like duh if you have a driver's license. I explained to them I am not a young 20 year old drunk kid. They don't require a driver's license. The website said all have to do a breathalyzer. But I did not have to do the test. I got my instructor who then in a sandbox walked me through what the machine was going to be like, Then we got into a golf cart and off to the crane. You get about a 5 minute training to use the machine. The machine is simple instructions. The speed is a button that is marked with a turtle for slow and a bunny for fast. I was why is that? He explained many construction workers cannot read, hence the picture. I was what?! Are you kidding? He said no, scary huh? Yeah! But I got in, put on my seat belt and learned to use a crane. You get a headset and your instructor talks you through the controls. As long as you listen, you will get the hang of it. A few times your instructor will snap photos that you can later purchase. It would be nice at the price you pay that you get some free photos. I paid for one video just cause how many times in your life do you get to crush a car? The photo was $5. You can get the whole set for around $35 but if you purchase within 24 hours, you get a discount. I just wanted one photo. Then you learn to move the crane in a circle, to the left, right, go up on the back wheels, forward, back, and then the ultimate.... crush the car, pick up the car, pop a tire. My car got stuck in the air and I got to shake it back and forth to try and get it off the crane. I had so much fun! I was laughing and laughing and so was the instructor. This is also a place where they train construction workers. A few stopped to watch and they were laughing too. Who doesn't need a good laugh before a business meeting and then you can tell them, I crushed a car today while everyone else is gambling. You actually learned a fun skill. Cost: $749 to learn how to use a crane and then crush a car! It is expensive, but you are paying for the car.
There aren't enough stars to give this place the rating it deserves! 10/5 for sure! We came for a family outing, adults ranging in age from 28-56 and everyone LOVED it! The staff was friendly, accommodating, encouraging and extremely knowledgeable. We had so much fun that we couldn't stop talking about it for the entire 45 minute drive home. We drove the 6 ton excavator, the backhoe and the 9 ton excavator and we already are planning to return with the rest of the family to try out everything else. We made wonderful memories and now have great pictures on our fridge with huge smiles on everyone's faces! Highly recommend!!!
We came for the Kids Dig. It was a busy holiday weekend and we grabbed the next available spot the night before. i thought if we got there before our session maybe a wait list spot would open up. But they were completely booked. There is a waiting area with mini corn hole game on the table. But it didn't keep my son entertained long enough. He started to get pretty restless while we waited for our session to start. There's also free coffee (Keurig) on the waiting area plus a gift shop for toys, shirts, books. The staff was very friendly and patient. When it was our turn we walked over to the dig area. There were 4 excavators (maybe 5) I can't remember. They took everyone's pictures, one with the parents and one with the child by him/herself. Then they did a little crash course and they were off scooping swinging and dumping My son had a blast controlling the big excavator. I highly recommend sunglasses because you are facing the sun in the afternoon. They give you the options to purchase the photos at the end. $10/print or $35 in plaque.
A great experience all around Did the Mega Dig package and loved it ! My instructor Michael and his student instructor Adrian were the best and Taylor at the front desk helped me from the start with my reservation over the phone months ago and was there today to complete the event. . I felt well informed and safe through the whole process and they made sure it was fun An unforgettable experience that I have dreamt of for years . Also, gives you a taste of the hard work equipment operators do day in and day out to build infrastructure we need and enjoy Thanks to all the staff at Dig This for making this a possibility and especially to Michael, Adrian, and Taylor for their work today JOB WELL DONE
I took my 11 year old son here this past weekend and by far he (and I) had the best experience I could've ever imagined. Upon arriving were so warmly greeted by Taylor in the office - her positive and upbeat personality started this experience off right. We then met Carsen, and all I can say is WOW - he was so knowledgeable, professional, kind and has the patience of a saint. He walked my son, through all of the safety measures and mechanics of the experience with the 6 ton excavator - but more than that, he provided clear and concise instructions that were age appropriate, he encouraged my son and was so personable, which in turn made the experience all that more engaging and fun. He spoke to my son about what being a Heavy Equipment Operator is like, the training required and by this experience he inspired my son to look into it as a career in the future. We had a blast and this experience was well worth every single penny. The 6 ton excavator was amazing for my 11 year old to learn how to handle, the digging and basketball games were so fun for any adult / kid, but I think what truly makes this place rock are the people like Carsen and Taylor. We will definitely be back soon!
From my husband: I had a blast here fulfilling all the tonka toy dreams that you have when you see large construction equipment. Operating a large excavator, digging holes, stacking large tires and literally shooting baskets by scooping basket balls was so much fun! Our instructor Brandon was so cool, always calm, keeping us safe and walking us through operating a 20 ton machine. I'm doing this again next time I'm in Vegas! From me: I was an observer and photographer for my husband's adventure. The staff was so kind making sure I could be a part of it all with my own headset. The viewing area was perfect to get some great photos and videos. To see the sparkle in my husband's eyes after the event was worth it. Thank you Dig This!
We had the absolute best time at Dig This. I took my friend and son this time as I had visited before. The whole crew there was so fun and our instructors Brian and Jo Beth were awesome. We also really appreciated that there was no hard sell for any photos or merchandise. We will definitely be back!
Where else can a toddler live out his dreams of working on a construction site? The staff were all so very patient and friendly! They do require reservations, so make sure to check out their website for their availability. Our reservation was for 10:45 AM, & the Vegas heat already set in, so I definitely recommend getting an early AM reservation if possible! They did a big fan and misting machine which helped keep us cool. My 3 year old had an amazing time! 10/10 experience, and will return in the future!
What a very cool experience! We were in Vegas and I wanted to go to a bunch of museums. My other half said, can we please do something else? I hesitated and said, what do you want to do. He said, I found this thing called "Dig This" vegas and I would love to try it! I said cool. So I called and they were able to get us in the same day. What a fun experience! We tried two different things and had a great instructor! I forgot his name, but he was really good and made me really comfortable. I did think it was a bit pricey..... but I am still happy we did it and would do it again.
Staff was super nice !! My little one had a blast ! We booked 30 minutes and that was perfect! The instructors were all very friendly as we'll definitely be back
Bought a big dig for my brothers milestone birthday. We had a great time with a patient instructor, a big excavator and a D-5 (?) bulldozer! Mighta got us proficient enough to rent a small excavator for some projects on his ranch .
We had my son's 12th birthday party here and it was awesome! The kids loved operating the equipment, and the staff was great with them. Super fun, unique experience -- highly recommend!

There is something you need to know about me. I don't drink or gamble so Vegas is a tough place for me to be entertained as you can only see so many shows. I also like doing new and different things. I've gone go-cart riding, I took a shooting lesson once, and I have gone sky diving. One thing I've always wanted to do was learn to drive a forklift so this sounded like my thing. I heard about this place while researching unique things to do in Vegas that didn't included gambling or the Casinos. Once I found there website I was excited to give them a try, but was undecided on which option to book. There were so many good ones. The idea of driving a bulldozer and another option to use an excavator and crush a car sounded exhilarating. I was a little nervous about finding a way to get there as they are so far out of the strip. I was worried that the LYFT driver wouldn't want to drive that far out of town to take us there or pick us up. They are located 20 minutes south of the Strip, which is a quick LYFT ride that costs under $40. And to be houses it can be the same amount of time to get around the strip and back to our hotel, the Rio which is off the strip at night when it's the busiest time and traffic is so heavy. The trip there is almost all freeway. I was a bit nervous when I found out you have to sign a waver not holding them liable if you get injured. The price of the big equipment is between $195- $320 ( Each sessions last between 45 to 90 minutes and range form age 8+ or16+) The most exhilarating one was $799 and you get to use an excavator to crush a car.. Now that sounded like the most fun. That's called the Aggression session and lasts 45 minutes. The age for this is 14+. Driving a bulldozer sounded fun too. Being so nervous I ended up booking the kid's dig. There you get to operate a 1.5 ton excavator. That seemed safer if they offered options for little kids and I mean little. Age 2+ can operate the excavator. Depending on their size they may have to sit on someone's lap. The kids dig is $29.50 for 15 minute increments. You can book multiple sessions. And for each session another person can be the operator. You can't split sessions between multiple people. Prior to booking I did call them and talked to Taylor I believe and she assured me as an adult without a child could partake in the Kids Dig. She assured me that other adults have done it and it's still a lot of fun. We went the last Sunday in May 2026. Our appointment was at Noon. I wanted to make sure I had enough time so I booked two 15 minute sessions. Having two sessions allowed us to each try it. My husband said he'd just watch and be my photographer, but I waned to give him the options too to try it out and he did and enjoyed it. Probably not as much as I did, but he had fun. Alex my instructor was amazing. He continued to yell out directions till I got the hang of it. I was doing it with another kid next to me and I felt Alex was really paying attention to me even though he was direction both of us. I was in heaven as I dug dirt out of the ground and created a giant hole. 15 minutes was plenty for time and I relinquished my second session to my husband. I had so much fun that I wanted to share the fun. I had trouble on my own remembering what to do so he continued to give me directions till I got the handle of it. I wonder how little kids so it as I was having difficulty remembering what to do. On the other hand kids play so many video games these days so they may be more used to this rhythm of movement. I highly reccomend this activity to everyone that is looking for something unique to do in Vegas. This was the highlight of my trip to Vegas. I'm so glad I overcame my fear of getting to and from Dig This. I felt very safe using the excavator. It's a little nerve wracking at first as you lean back a bit when you are digging. You really don't need the photo package as your companion can walk all around you and take pictures and videos. This only works if you are confident in their photography and videography skills. I had my doubts so I bought the photo package and I'm glad i did as Alex go a really good action shoot of me. And I'm a total photography lover. I like to capture the moment and I feel like the money is worth it not to miss the moment. When I went Sky diving I hired a photographer and videographer too and it was so worth it. The digital photo package with plaque is $67.93. If you just want the plaque it's $37.93. It's so much of a better deal to get the digital photo package as you get a minimum of 5 shots. We got 17 for the 2 sessions and that was of both my husband and myself. I was thrilled with Alex's photography skills and his ability to catch those action shots. If you have reservations do the Kid's dig. It's only $29.50 and have your companion take your picture and it's a total steal for all the fun you'll have. read more

Great experience and wonderful staff! We went back in Dec. 2024. We were helped by Mark and he actually took us on even though he was just about to clock out for the day! So kind of him to stay past his shift so that we wouldn't have to wait around for someone new to clock in. He was great with the kids and friendly! Thank you, Mark! read more
Had a wonderful time a dig this. The instructors were phenomenal and made the process seamless and exceptional. Operating the machinery was of course the highlight, but wouldn't be possible without the amazing team, staff, and how well everything was organized. A little ways away from the strip. Kept it under wraps until we jumped out the car doors. How excited the 3 and 5yo were was beyond words. To top it off, they were just tall enough to be hands on in the mini diggers. It was a seatbelt for the adults and a mini seatbelt for the little ones. After about 10m, my 3yo was tired but the 5yo was running the controls on his own. Afterwards, they had a photo op to buy as well as nice souvenirs at the gift store. It was one of the best 15 minutes of their lives! read more

So much fun! We went so that my 3 year old who is obsessed with all things construction can experience being on an excavator. The staff was super friendly. They had free coffee. They even took pictures of us with the machine. So much fun. Definitely something my kid won't forget. It's a bit of ways from the strip, close to the M resort, but well worth the drive. The aggression session looks so cool. Maybe we'll come back one day without the child to wreck a car! read more

Our instructor Mike made the dig experience a 10/10! There's a lot to learn in a short time and he had very clear and easy to follow language. He also used imperial and metric system given the operators preference. One thing to note is that you'll most likely be out digging with at least one other participant so if you're a fast learner you may have to wait for the others to catch up. Also, the total time for the experience includes the safety briefing. The whole staff was kind and I really enjoyed my time in the excavator. I will be back read more

Where can I get a promo code?
Can you be in the passenger seat while your loved one operates the machinery or do you have to observe from afar or pay for your own machinery?
You cannot ride with the one you are with. You either rent your own, or stand in the observation area where you are given a headset so you can listen in to the conversation and the instructions given from the guide on the ground with your person.
Do they allow children when accompanied by an adult?
We now have our Kid Digs available for kids age 3 yr old (accompanied by an adult) & up!
