Came here to spend some time with my friends. We typically do escape rooms so we wanted to branch out a bit more and that's how we found It's A Blast! Inside the staff is friendly and the place is clean. This place has a storyline and within the storyline you have to play multiple carnival games to progress through the story. The games require teamwork, so it is super fun to play in a group. We are all adults and found this place challenging enough, so we didn't necessarily breeze through all the games. However, the games are also kid-friendly, so families would be great as well! My friends and I had a blast (pun intended) and can't wait for a new game to start! read more

Connor at the front desk is awesome and super responsive by text (the main phone line) so it was easy to book las minute, The shtick: There are four different rooms that you travel though, where you play different games in each room. After completing our game at Trapped escape room, they offered a coupon for this location so we went on a whim. The lobby was alright, being big and spacious, and the employee working there (don't recall name, it was a blonde girl) was really welcoming and responsive when we needed help. The games themselves were, although a bit fun, overall quite repetitive. Another reviewer mentioned how it was advertised to be party games similar to Mario party but instead was just carnival games, and I couldn't agree more. The games are like a set of mini-games that eventually feel a bit repetitive after multiple playthroughs, even if they difficult changes. I felt the music room was the most enjoyable because of the change in gameplay within the different challenges. Some stuff weren't working properly, such as buttons being pressed not being responsive, and the cars not working in the shooting game, which hindered immersion and gameplay. Lastly, we felt the use if AI was comically bad, and felt really low effort for the quality of the games. Just the inclusion of an employee with a bad costume would have made it more fun, even if the acting is bad, as it brings a bit of charm to the game. If you're an avid escape room player or video gamer, I feel the location is definitely not for you. Although there is high scores to beat, they aren't visually presented to you in-game so unless you memorized it, you're not sure if your completed challenge is the score you want or not. I'm sure kids would enjoy this location, as well as people just looking for a fun time to hang out without the pressure of a time limit or a difficult challenge, but as someone who does like to push themselves and have played tons of games, this room was not for me. read more

After having a great experience at the One Eyed Jack escape room at Trapped, my group decided to use the 50% off coupon at It's a Blast that we received upon completion. The check in was smooth and the host did a good job explaining the basics. The first room was mostly good, but there were issues with the buttons on the Bozo Blasters activating. You need to hold them down for a bit in order for them to work. Overall, this was the best room in my opinion. The next room was decent, but the instructions weren't very clear on the memory game. I wish there could have been a way to view written instructions for the game or if the host could have explained the game if they saw that we weren't understanding the rules. Also, I didn't like the game that mimicked Guitar Hero because we only had three people in our group and we were split up into two teams. I was on the team of one and I could only hit 2 colors at once, which meant I got no points from the other 2 colors. Another issue was that my back was to the screen, which meant I needed to turn my head around and have my arms fully stretched out to do the game. Unfortunately, the experience got worse in the third room, Midway. The booster ball game was the worst offender as the angle of the backboard did not seem to be steep enough to drop the ball in. Maybe we weren't skilled enough, but nevertheless we were not a fan of the game. The shooting gallery game was okay, but it was pretty boring. Not much changed throughout the game and I was just spamming the trigger rather mindlessly. I did not play the other game in the Midway room, but my brother said that that game was not good either. Finally, we concluded the experience in the bomb room. We had to connect shapes to other shapes on panels first. Some were quite straightforward, but then were descriptions like "connect the orange square to the apple caution sign." Let's not forget that apples come in multiple colors including red, green, and even yellow. Also, we had no idea if apple was referring to the shape or the color. Another issue that we had with this game was the lighting made it difficult to tell colors apart, especially red from orange. After the panel game, we moved on to having to use our fingers to scoop confetti out of an ammo barrel and load it into a tube. And by fingers, I actually mean one singular finger at a time trying to scrunch out confetti from three tiny holes. The holes also "dried up" of confetti and if you wanted more you had to strain your fingers against the holes. It was crude. In addition, we had issues with the use of AI throughout the games. The AI was used for the videos and the art, both of which did not look very good and gave off the impression that the creators did not put much effort into creating the experience. We also took an issue with how the game was marketed to us. We thought that it would be a Mario Party like video game experience. Instead, it should be marketed as a carnival game experience. Overall, I would not recommend going here, even with the 50% discount. read more

We had a *blast* at It's a Blast in Las Vegas! We enjoyed figuring out the mini-games and working together to complete the 12 levels of the game. There were 6 of us and we went through as 2 groups so we *really* wanted to beat the team that went through right before us. I took my three teen daughters (19, 18, and 15) and my son-in-law (21) here for a family night. We love escape rooms, but they usually leave us frustrated because everyone wants to be involved, and there just isn't enough happening at once to keep all of us engaged. This place sounded different--and it really was. We were all able to participate in activities at the same time, which made it much more fun as a group. In some rooms, five people felt like a bit too many, but overall, it was a great fit for us. At one point, some of the games weren't working properly. We let the staff know, and while they were responsive and came to fix it, the delay meant we didn't get to experience that part of the game as it was intended. The website may seem a little vague about what to expect, and I thought I'd be able to explain it better afterward. But honestly, it's hard to describe without giving too much away. What I can say is this: it requires teamwork, everyone needs to contribute at the same time (so no one is left out), and you move through different rooms similar to an escape room. There are puzzles to solve and games to play, and when everything is working, it's a lot of fun.
