Really wish Yelp would allow half stars, because this was a 4.5 for me. Terrifyingly fun escape room that's quite true to the original Stephen King story, but I don't love how you're paired with strangers... depending on the group vibe, your experience can vary wildly. Regardless, the puzzles themselves were great - not too easy, not too hard - and we left feeling like we got our money's worth!

Surprisingly, this was so much fun! My family and I decided to stay local in Las Vegas for New Years. Looking for activities in the area, we decided to book the Escape IT room for a party of 6 during New Year's week. The Escape IT is located on S. Martin Luther King Blvd, right across the street from Costco business. The check in process was easy. There was a team member waiting outside of the building. She checked us in and confirmed that we signed waivers. There was another couple that joined our family for the Escape IT room. 10 minutes before our reservation time, we entered the main entrance for another check in process. There was some older arcades like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat available to play while waiting. We wrote our names on sticky notes and checked in for a second time for the Funhouse escape room! The Escape IT is a large scale horror themed escape attraction inspired by the IT films. This experience spans a massive multi room environment with more than 20 interconnected spaces to explore. There are live actors as you navigate through the escape room! You have to work together to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and advance through scenes while navigating the dark. The rooms are so immersive, intense, and thrilling! The live actors that we had during the Escape room were fantastic! There were a few jump scares and Pennywise did make an appearance! We made it out in just a little bit over an hour! After the escape room, there is a themed gift shop and arcade that includes props and memorabilia tied to the IT universe. We all had $25.00 gift cards each for the arcades. It was busy and pretty limited though. Since we did the Funhouse, we'll have to come back and try out the Sewers escape room. The Escape IT is open year round and you can book reservations by calling in! The team members here are fantastic! Time slots can get booked up fast especially on the weekends! I can't wait to try out the Sewers!

This place was so fun !!! I like how if we just couldn't figure it out they'd give you a subtle hint to keep you on track and not searching aimlessly in the wrong areas. My first escape room and it was the best in my opinion. It's definitely worth a trip to visit.

Included in the Vegas go city pass. This is like an escape room/live movie experience. Overall: Very high production value, but not the best flow. Very realistic sets that make you feel like you're in the movie. A fair amount of jump scares. Up to 10 people so you'll be grouped with strangers given how popular this place is. Several different rooms you go through each with a time limit and one or two fairly basic escape room puzzles in each. If you don't solve the puzzle, you move to the next room regardless. Quite an experience due to the excellent sets and live character interactions!

We had an amazing experience! If you like IT, you must try this escape room. We did the sewer this trip, next time we'll do the fun house. We had a great group of strangers, we figured out the last puzzle as we ran out of time. Fair warning- it's REALLY dark in some of the rooms. It did cost us time, you are discouraged from using your cell phone light. Pay attention to the cast member tagging along. Escape room time is one hour.

I did both Escape IT rooms in Vegas and honestly they were amazing! Each experience takes you through multiple rooms, and the effects, especially the smoke and atmosphere, were so well done making you feel like you were part of the story. There was a part where you play the mini carnival games for the clues, which was super fun. The actors stayed in character the whole time and made it super interactive, which I loved. There were definitely some good scare moments, too. Pennywise actually comes after you at one point and pops up out of nowhere, got me so good! Overall, I'd highly recommend both rooms. So much fun, totally worth it, and such an immersive experience.

What a great fun experience! I had a blast going solving clues through all the rooms, and having a scare from the clown! We did the funhouse and the actors were amazing. They kept us moving along and made us believe we actually knew them in real life. Everything was so believable. We were running around scared and screaming for dear life, but had an amazing time! Props and stage design was great, just like the movie and storyline from IT. Don't think I've ever done something similar to this.

The set design on these rooms are incredible. The amount of detail used to create every scene with an emphasis on immersion is incredible. There are so many awesome props and details linked to the movies that you feel like you're on set. I would say that the puzzles were mixed. At some point you get moved on rather than spending too long in any specific room. The actors/guides are great, and really work hard to keep you feeling the anxious anticipation, but as far as escape rooms go, I would say it's average. Again, the set and actors are great, it's just some of the puzzles and group sizes that limit the experience. If you are there to have some fun, and consider it more of an interactive experience rather than a true to form escape room, it's quite fun. Definitely worth experiencing once.

This was our first time trying both rooms here and the experience was awesome!! We loved all the guides and the props were wonderful. Highly recommended! Huge shout out to the folks from these rooms: Tunnel: Ben Sawyer Brittany Funhouse: Eliza Drew Jenna

First, let me say that I had no idea what to really expect from this escape room, I have done the SAW room, and loved it, but this one is next level. We opted for the Escape " Funhouse " which I believe was more off of IT: Chapter 2. There is another option of " The Sewers" and believe me, I'll be back to try that one! We walked in and were greeted in what appeared to be a 1980's movie theater type set. The girl who checked us in was very friendly and informative. The max group is 10 people, I was with my friend, and basically did the experience with 8 strangers. Before you start, you all must agree on the level of difficulty easy, medium or hard... only 2 in our group had ever done a room so we all chose medium. ( that means basically, they let you struggle until you give up then they give small hints to solve puzzles). We entered and the place is very much set up like the actual movie. The rooms make you feel as though you are in the same creepy places from the movie, and they have done a fantastic job replicating the sets! This is a typical escape room, in that you really need each piece of the puzzle to complete the challenge, however, if you run out of time in a room, you do move on to the next room. ( I like this because we got to experience ALL of the rooms, and make our way through the "movie" to the end.) I don't want to give away too much, but this was harder than most escape rooms I've done, and doing it with strangers, poses its own challenges. Our group had a few people that had didn't understand how interactive these rooms are, and it really does take the whole team to help solve the room, if you want to be successful. Nevertheless it was still so much fun! These escape rooms are NOT for the faint of heart. They are scary, with live actors, jump scares, and unexpected surprises. I have literally never screamed so much in my life. Our actors were amazing, as they guided us from room to room, they used our names and tried to make us feel like we were part of the story. When the room was finally over, (and No, we were not successful in completing the challenges. I think we got 2 of them...) you end up in a room with memorabilia from the actual movie set, some items you can purchase, like tshirts, key chains etc. and an arcade. I highly recommend this escape room if you're looking for a good scary event. I went at 2pm on a Wednesday and it wasn't crowded, and even though it was daytime, you don't realize it once you're inside!!!

After a lot of help we completed the experience.

Stopped in vegas for two days, so we decided to check out this experience not too far from Fremont St. For about $50, a person, you will enter an immersive and gripping story of the missing children within the Derry sewer system. It honestly was well decorated as multiple areas captured the allure of each scene that you can recall from the original source. The actors captivated all of us to participate and were a great addition to each part of the experience. Unfortunately, I have to rate this light 4 stars when I originally wanted to give 5. I brought a fair amount of young ladies, and one situation with one actor left a bad impression as I felt it was distastful behavior. It was only one person and everyone elses performance was great and respectful. In addition, there should be some serious review regarding the barn area where there's crawling involved.

    Mathryn E.

Hands down, the best escape room we've experienced so far--and we've been to quite a few! The actors were fantastic, staying in character and engaging with us by offering hints when needed, which made the experience even more immersive. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into the decorations and setup, creating an incredible atmosphere. It was so much fun, and we're already planning to come back to try the Fun House next. The only suggestion I have is to replace the plastic mask for Pennywise with full makeup--it would add a scarier and more realistic touch. That said, the overall experience was amazing and absolutely worth the money. Highly recommend!

I love all things horror and I love doing escape rooms so I knew I had to check this one out. It was a little different because one of the workers went though with you and played different parts during the story. They would say certain things that would wind up being clues to help you with the puzzles. There were multiple rooms and each room was very well done, you felt like you were part of the movie! I will say, that if you don't book the entire room, you will get paired up with other ppl so we had 3 people with us but it wasn't too bad. After the escape room, they gave us a little game card (included in that package) to play some of the games they had. They also had some props set up to look at. We only did one of the rooms but I'd love to check out the other one!

Do any actors ever touch you? Not in a gross inappropriate way, but like for the fun? I don't think I'd mind, but I just wanna make sure I know what I'm going into. I've seen some horror themed experiences where the actors touch you or pull you.

No. Actors generally kept a respectable distance, acts more like a guide leading the way. Pennywise occasionally jumps out, but again he did not touch us.

We went to the Escape Game at Area15, as part of the lvl 3A experience pass. Having done most of the same rooms, at different locations, we opted for the Legend of the Yeti, which turned out to be mostly a re-themed (but also with new puzzles) "Goldrush". It was one of the more challenging rooms we've done (listed as an 8/10 difficulty), and while we typically don't need a lot of hints, we did use a lot here (completed as a party of 2). Having 1 or 2 more people in the group would help, but more than that would be too many, as the spaces are fairly small. I can't imagine doing it with 6-8, which it allows up to. We will always recommend "The Escape Game" as the experience is always fun / enjoyable.

My number one want for this particular location is flashlights! Please. The rooms are very dark so we couldn't see a few of the things we needed to find because they were dark and so was the room. This is the only one I've been to that doesn't provide a flashlight. I personally don't like using my phone. Depths - this room was really good but it's definitely the most straightforward game which would probably be very good for beginners because you can't move to step 2 without completing step 1. The rooms were also super cool looking. There is also a "game" within this game which I think was really extra fun. Ruins - I really liked this room, but, there is one puzzle where the pieces don't actually like up very well so it's insanely hard to figure out what goes where. Also. The last puzzle doesn't really work very well and some of the parts of it would be a little glitchy. When we were there the sound also didn't work on the tv so we didn't know when we were getting clues or anything. But the staff took care of us after the fact to make sure our next room will be fantastic. Timeliner (we did this in a different location) is one of my favorites. I really like the puzzles and the different themes included in this are really interesting. Prison break (also did at another location) - this was one of my favorites. The puzzles are challenging but really interesting and you start split into 2 rooms which I think is really fun and different. Heist (done at a different location) - another really good room. I will say the theming of this is way less involved than the other rooms but overall the puzzles are still very good. Gold rush (another location) - super fun. Very well themed and immersive room which are always my favorite. Getting to do more interactive puzzles is also really fun.

They have a quite a few rooms and we booked The Cabin, where you have to escape before the serial killer returns. This is a unique location as the entrance looks like a dry cleaning business. Once you walk in the front door, the masquerade continues, and you must solve a puzzle to gain entry to the main lobby. It's easy, don't over think it. The main lobby and hallways to the different rooms are somewhat dimly lit and decorated well. It gives a good vibe before you even start your room. There are lockers by the entrance door to store your belongings. We were greeted by our game master Angel who got us started quickly. Before you enter the room, the exterior is decorated just like a cabin and looks very realistic. Once you step inside the room, it is very immersive and again very realistic. All parts of this room are pretty dark, but you will have flashlights. There are some good sound effects, and since it is pretty dark, it is a little spooky, but not scary. There are a few jump scares, one part that requires a small crawl, and a tiny bit of gore at the end. There is a good mix of locks and mechanical puzzles. Hints are requested via a walkie talkie. This was a fun, very immersive room, and we escaped pretty fast with sixteen minutes to spare. If you escape early, there is a bonus puzzle you can work on with your remaining time. Their listed difficulty level of 3/5 is accurate. They have a very generous same-day rebooking discount that I think was around 50% off. The only room that was available at the time was Chained, so we gave it a try. This is a two person only room and is normally only $29 per person, so with the same day booking discount added, it is a steal. This was a very unique room. It is narrow, a little dark, and the two people sit back to back in large wooden chairs with your hands in shackles and chained to the other persons hands. All of the puzzles are within an arm's reach, but you have to coordinate your movements since the chains are only so long. I think I remember a few locks, and the rest were mechanical or physical puzzles. It is described as scary, but we didn't think it was scary. But there is a psychological factor being seated back to back and chained together the whole time. You really have to work together as a team since both people can't necessarily see the same things. Hints are given via text messages on a TV screen. We felt a little dumb in this one, and asked for a lot of hints, but we did escape with about five minutes left. The listed difficulty level is 3.5/5, but I'd maybe bump it up to 4/5. Angel was a great game master on both rooms, and gave timely hints as needed. We definitely kept him busy while doing Chained. Their rooms are very inexpensive at only $45 per person, even for only two people. And the Chained room is only $29 per person for two. Definitely take advantage of their generous same day booking discount and do a few rooms. They even have an option to rent out the whole building from 12:30am to sunrise, and your group has access to all of the rooms. Only in Vegas!

We found this place and called around 830pm. They were able to squeeze us in for a 10:30 pm appointment. I have never tried an escape room before so they popped my cherry on this experience. I was a bit timid coming in but everyone in the shop was extremely nice and had a good vibe. So it was easy to get comfortable. We came during happy hour which I believe helped our tab. For the three of us, it was $105 flat. After signing a waiver, and a quick presentation, we were given one hour to solve the puzzles and save our girl. It being my first time in an escape room, maybe I didn't realize how practical the answers to the hints are. My advice to anyone going on this experience is to think practical. The answers are right in front of you. We were not able to finish the puzzle. We barely got into the second room with ten minutes to spare out of the hour of time given to us. And the second room seemed to be a lot harder than the first room. But overall we loved our experience. Destiney was a delight and even gave me a parting gift as seen in the photos.
