It feels like the place is being run by young employees who either haven't been properly trained in customer service or simply don't want to provide it. If you don't like dealing with customers, a customer-service job probably isn't the best career choice. It took us over 30 minutes just to find someone willing to help us redeem our arcade tickets for prizes. We asked multiple employees for assistance, and every single one seemed more interested in passing us off to someone else than actually solving the problem. Look, I get it--it's Circus Circus. The place already comes with a certain reputation. But maybe during new-hire orientation, management could dust off one of those painfully boring training videos explaining what customer service actually means. At this point, even that would be an improvement. Will I come back? Probably. I still have little kids, and they have fun here. But believe me, I yearn for the glorious day when they're grown and I can finally drive past Circus Circus without hearing, "Dad, can we go there?!" Until then, I'll be back. Reluctantly. Do a little better, Circus Circus. The kids may not notice the poor service--but the parents paying for everything definitely do.

They have a cute banana scavenger hunt challenge to earn 10 minutes of axe throwing. I also noticed they take donations for their smash room, which I think is neat. We visited the location on a Monday! They have $75/per person offer on Mondays to enjoy 2 activities. We chose the smash room and axe throwing, but they also have a paint room option. I have gone axe throwing before, but I like the axe throwing better at this location because they offer a variety of games to play with your group. We played and enjoyed the zombie game the most. The only reason I gave the experience 4 stars and not 5 stars is because I wish we could have thrown items against the walls in the smash room, but we were confined to the table in the center. It's crazy how everyone's experience for this coaster is so different. I LOVED IT!…read more You can buy the ticket online or in person. They have different packages from one general admission ticket to adding arcade points, redemption tickets, a hot dog with a soda purchase, etc. We got in line. Got on the ride and had a blast. It's a squeeze to maneuver into the seats, but once in I felt secure. And I loved that the straps over the shoulder were just that straps... Far too often I am banging my head at other amusement parks with the over the shoulder bars they have. Not for this one. You were secured with the straps and lap bar. The speed, drops, loopty loop, were all the best. Like I said, "I LOVED IT!" Give it a try. They absolutely don't allow ANY loose items on the rollercoaster. There are lockers right before you get to the coaster line/Employee checkpoint, to the right. It's only $1. There was no line for the coaster even though there was a long line to purchase tickets. They also are strict on height. If you have difficulty finding the coaster... Go inside new York, new York... Follow the signs and once you see an Italian restaurant you will go up the stairs. You will see a painting of the coaster and name of it on the wall in the top corner above the stairs. Don't go to far or the guys trying to sell timeshares will harass you lol. They got us all turned around before we actually found the coaster.

They won't allow you to bring your phone or anything else in your pockets onto the ride. Staff actually check before you board, and if you have anything on you, they'll send you back to put it away. Luckily, there are lockers nearby for around $1, so storing your belongings is quick, easy, and inexpensive. We visited on a Friday night and purposely waited until it was dark so we could enjoy the views of the Las Vegas Strip while riding. We had purchased our tickets online ahead of time, which I highly recommend because it allowed us to skip the ticket line. Once inside New York-New York, the coaster was easy to find, and we only waited about 30 minutes to ride. As a plus-size woman, I was happy to find that I fit comfortably on the ride, which is always something I appreciate knowing before visiting an amusement attraction. It was over 100°F outside the night we rode, so flying through the loops, twists, and huge drops while getting blasted with warm desert air made for a pretty wild experience! I'll admit, I was a little terrified--the drops are much bigger than I expected, and I rode a good portion of it with my eyes closed. The ride itself is fairly short, but it's packed with excitement from start to finish. My teenager absolutely loved it, and even though it scared me a bit, I'm really glad we did it. If you're visiting Las Vegas with kids or teens, I'd definitely recommend adding the Big Apple Coaster to your itinerary.

He was so kind and patient, and even took the time to show them the big excavators and take photos for us. We also got the digger photo package, and the pictures Max took turned out great! The boys each got a paper certificate after their visit. When we brought their certificates back the next day, they added a stamp to them, which made coming back even more fun and special for the kids. They also got stickers and a lollipop. There were so many little touches that made the experience memorable. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend Dig This Las Vegas, and a huge thank you to Max for making both visits so special!

There is something you need to know about me. I don't drink or gamble so Vegas is a tough place for…read moreme to be entertained as you can only see so many shows. I also like doing new and different things. I've gone go-cart riding, I took a shooting lesson once, and I have gone sky diving. One thing I've always wanted to do was learn to drive a forklift so this sounded like my thing. I heard about this place while researching unique things to do in Vegas that didn't included gambling or the Casinos. Once I found there website I was excited to give them a try, but was undecided on which option to book. There were so many good ones. The idea of driving a bulldozer and another option to use an excavator and crush a car sounded exhilarating. I was a little nervous about finding a way to get there as they are so far out of the strip. I was worried that the LYFT driver wouldn't want to drive that far out of town to take us there or pick us up. They are located 20 minutes south of the Strip, which is a quick LYFT ride that costs under $40. And to be houses it can be the same amount of time to get around the strip and back to our hotel, the Rio which is off the strip at night when it's the busiest time and traffic is so heavy. The trip there is almost all freeway. I was a bit nervous when I found out you have to sign a waver not holding them liable if you get injured. The price of the big equipment is between $195- $320 ( Each sessions last between 45 to 90 minutes and range form age 8+ or16+) The most exhilarating one was $799 and you get to use an excavator to crush a car.. Now that sounded like the most fun. That's called the Aggression session and lasts 45 minutes. The age for this is 14+. Driving a bulldozer sounded fun too. Being so nervous I ended up booking the kid's dig. There you get to operate a 1.5 ton excavator. That seemed safer if they offered options for little kids and I mean little. Age 2+ can operate the excavator. Depending on their size they may have to sit on someone's lap. The kids dig is $29.50 for 15 minute increments. You can book multiple sessions. And for each session another person can be the operator. You can't split sessions between multiple people. Prior to booking I did call them and talked to Taylor I believe and she assured me as an adult without a child could partake in the Kids Dig. She assured me that other adults have done it and it's still a lot of fun. We went the last Sunday in May 2026. Our appointment was at Noon. I wanted to make sure I had enough time so I booked two 15 minute sessions. Having two sessions allowed us to each try it. My husband said he'd just watch and be my photographer, but I waned to give him the options too to try it out and he did and enjoyed it. Probably not as much as I did, but he had fun. Alex my instructor was amazing. He continued to yell out directions till I got the hang of it. I was doing it with another kid next to me and I felt Alex was really paying attention to me even though he was direction both of us. I was in heaven as I dug dirt out of the ground and created a giant hole. 15 minutes was plenty for time and I relinquished my second session to my husband. I had so much fun that I wanted to share the fun. I had trouble on my own remembering what to do so he continued to give me directions till I got the handle of it. I wonder how little kids so it as I was having difficulty remembering what to do. On the other hand kids play so many video games these days so they may be more used to this rhythm of movement. I highly reccomend this activity to everyone that is looking for something unique to do in Vegas. This was the highlight of my trip to Vegas. I'm so glad I overcame my fear of getting to and from Dig This. I felt very safe using the excavator. It's a little nerve wracking at first as you lean back a bit when you are digging. You really don't need the photo package as your companion can walk all around you and take pictures and videos. This only works if you are confident in their photography and videography skills. I had my doubts so I bought the photo package and I'm glad i did as Alex go a really good action shoot of me. And I'm a total photography lover. I like to capture the moment and I feel like the money is worth it not to miss the moment. When I went Sky diving I hired a photographer and videographer too and it was so worth it. The digital photo package with plaque is $67.93. If you just want the plaque it's $37.93. It's so much of a better deal to get the digital photo package as you get a minimum of 5 shots. We got 17 for the 2 sessions and that was of both my husband and myself. I was thrilled with Alex's photography skills and his ability to catch those action shots. If you have reservations do the Kid's dig. It's only $29.50 and have your companion take your picture and it's a total steal for all the fun you'll have.

We could not hear 1/2 of what they were saying and no one was enthusiastic at all. The pre-show was decent, but after standing in line, standing waiting to see the pre-show experience and then standing for the pre-show experience, older people and those with back problems had trouble. We were seated for the film. The film was nice with a few special effects, but it was more about the Iceland country side and only a few seconds showing areas inhabited by people including Reykjavik which is a beautiful city (we have been there). The overall film experience was not 25 minutes as advertised (less). If you are prone to motion sickness or have ear or balance issues I don't recommend this experience.

How can you go wrong with an electric powered vehicle that was designed for bumping into other cars? Well, head on collisions can really mess up your back, spine, or whatever other skeletal terms you wanna go by. That is why for this track you are only supposed to go in one direction. In this case, counter clockwise. Still you will have those people that either dont know how to drive or just wanna be idiots and bump into everybody or both. You must be 54 inches tall to drive, at least 42 to ride. Before you are even let on to the track, you have those measuring sticks there at the entrance. Make sure to buckle up or the attendant walking around will not let the fun begin. Each car can fit two people if one is not tall enough to drive. There is only the one gas pedal on the left. To slow down or stop, simply just take your foot off the pedal. Or you can just bump into somebody if you wanna stop right away. To back up towards whatever direction you wanna go just turn the steering wheel to all the way to the extreme right or left. In the end, even after all this info, some people just dont know how to drive. Dont let any of these people drive you to the hospital. If im not mistaken I think the overall time given to drive around is 5 minutes. Yelp 2014 365 Review Challenge #172 "Road rage starts here"

One of the more interesting features was a ship-like viewing area that allowed children to see animals swimming both underneath and above them through the glass. This gave younger visitors another way to observe the animals closely. Stingray Touch Pool The stingray touch pool was much less accessible for small children. The stingrays usually stayed near the bottom of the pool, making them difficult for younger children to reach. Children were not permitted to sit or lie on the stone surrounding the pool for safety reasons, but there was no alternative provided, such as a secured step platform or designated raised viewing area. This meant that parents often had to lift and hold their children over the edge so they could see or attempt to touch the stingrays. That could create its own safety concern for both the parent and child. A staff member suggested that a child could lie on their stomach to reach farther into the pool. However, this may not work well for children who have sensory sensitivities, physical limitations, discomfort with pressure on their stomach, or developmental delays. The exhibit would be more inclusive if it offered a safe alternative for shorter children, such as: * A secured, nonslip step platform * A lower section of the pool designed for children * A raised glass viewing window * A staff-supported touch opportunity * Clear accessibility options for children with sensory or physical needs The touch pool was an exciting concept, but the current design made it difficult for many younger children to participate independently and safely.
