Step right up, folks step right up! When the sun drops over Las Vegas and those neon lights start hollerin', that's when the real show begins! Now I know how it goes you see that big ol' wheel, the High Roller, and you're thinkin', "Nope. Not today. Not me. Not that high." And your wife? Oh, she's already halfway to "absolutely not." But then like a seasoned carnival barker you sweet talk, you bargain, maybe even bribe... and next thing you know, you're both ridin' sky-high in what I like to call the bar car of bravery. And let me tell you once you're up there, drink in hand, city glowin' like a jackpot that just hit... buddy, it's a whole different tune. The Strip sparkles, the night feels alive, and suddenly your "bad idea" turns into the best decision you made all trip. Convenient too sittin' right by the Las Vegas Monorail, like it's just waitin' for you to wander over and take a spin. So don't fight it. Don't overthink it. You can walk the Strip all you want but you ain't really seen Vegas till you've ridden the wheel. Step right up... you can't not do it

At 550 feet tall, this iconic wheel is the largest observation wheel in North America. It takes about 30 minutes to ride it, which includes one smooth steady and slow rotation. We did it because it was included in the Las Vegas City Pass. The views are great. There is also a video that plays that acts as your guide during the ride and provides interesting facts and history. The cabins are spacious and air-conditioned. I would recommend going at sunset or at night - I think the views look even better then.

I'm so so appreciative for all the amenities, and complimentary things we were able to do while my Bestie was here visiting me for her Born day. We were 550 ft. high off the ground when taking The High Roller ride tour. I'm so glad that I was able to share these experiences with someone that I've known for over Fifty Years. We learned about John Fremont, a little bit about the Hoover Dam, and when it was built in 1931. Las Vegas is the ENTERTAINMENT CAPITOL of the world. This was enjoyable.

We were offered free tickets as part of our conference to go on the wheel so we really enjoyed that it was free - I don't think I would have paid for it . It's around 20 minutes and you go over 500 feet in the air and it gives really good views of the hotel rooftops . I wish I could have seen more of the desert and mountains . It's something to do once though:)

If you are looking for some incredible views of the Las Vegas Strip I highly recommend a ride on The High Roller. It's decently priced and really does give some unique views. The pod we were in had about 12 people on it and it is a continuous ride that takes roughly 30 minutes to make its complete circle trip reaching 550 ft at its highest point. They also offer an all you can drink pod for a more premium price. We went at night and it wasn't too busy so the line went relatively quick. I would like to do it again during the daytime or at sunset!

This was actually my second time riding the High Roller at The LINQ Promenade and I've experienced it both during the daytime and at night. After doing both, I personally think the nighttime ride is much better. The ride lasts about 30 minutes inside a large glass cabin with 360 degree views of Las Vegas. The wheel moves very slowly and smoothly, so most of the time you barely even notice that you're moving. It gives you plenty of time to walk around, take photos, or just stand and enjoy the view. During the day you can see farther out toward the desert and the mountains, which is nice. But at night the whole Strip lights up, and that's when the experience really feels special. Seeing the skyline, the Sphere, and all the lights from above is pretty amazing. The cabins are spacious and there are seating areas if you want to sit and relax. It's also ADA accessible, which is great. If you want drinks, they do sell them before you board, although the prices are definitely on the Vegas side. They also check bags before entry, so outside drinks aren't allowed. One thing that felt a little strange was that guests enter and exit the cabin while it's still slowly moving. It moves very slowly, but stepping on while it's in motion felt a little sketchy at first. I did notice they stopped the wheel for some guests though. For reference, I booked through Vegas.com and paid about $85 total for three adult tickets after fees, which came out to around $28 per person. For a Vegas attraction with views like this, I thought the price was pretty reasonable. Overall, it's a fun and relaxing way to see the city from above. If it's your first time in Vegas, I'd definitely recommend doing it at least once , and try to go at night if you can. The city lights really make the experience.

Another Vegas attraction that's probably more impressive at night than in the daytime, but still a worthwhile attraction. It can get quite sunny in the pod, so I for one stayed standing and moved around rather than sit still - the former decision is better for checking out different viewpoints of the city anyway. The audio broadcast was both educational and entertaining - a winning combination!

We finally tried the High Roller when in Vegas this week and we loved it! I am very afraid of heights, so I was very leery to ride, but I actually want scared at all on the wheel! The pods are so large and stable that you just kind of feel like you're in a hotel room looking over Vegas. The ride is 30 minutes long and travels up 550 above Vegas! I'd highly recommend riding at night. The view of the Sphere is amazing. The High Roller is in a great area with so much to do and see both within the ride complex and walking up to it. If you are a Caesars players card holder, check to see if you have free or discounted tickets like we did. Also be sure to decide if you want the standard ride or the pod with an all you can drink bar. You can't go wrong either way.

This is a really fun experience and you get gorgeous views of almost all of Vegas! It's about 30 mins long. It's a little chilly on the ride so bring a sweater. It's very slow- you can barely even tell that you're moving. Even if you're afraid of heights, this is a really fun activity and you will love it!

We got our tickets for free by becoming by getting Cesar reward card (which it's free to get at the flamingo) coming in they took 4 but we only got 2 because that's was $50 if wanted all 4 it would have been over $80. The view is pretty and the ride is pretty long, the audio is repetitive, and there are too many ads. I wish they would let you pick the music and that there was less adds on there maybe some photo probs. The ride is too long to just set there.

    Tabitha C.

The high roller was one of my favorite attractions in Vegas for sure! I think it's well worth the costs and the photo for our memory (purchased one photo for $44). The view is beautiful and the ride up is super smooth. I only wish it lasted even longer than the 15-20 mins. Definitely recommend, loved it! We only had a half dozen people on our pod. They do have a bar before you get on if you want to purchase but they let me bring my own drink on with me. There's a gift shop afterwards if interested.

What a nice experience. A group of us preordered tickets which made this a seamless experience. Imagine a ginormous Ferris wheel with an amazing view of a lit up desert. There you have it.

    Yvette A.

They have lots of options for times you can ride. I thought it went faster and was more like a Ferris wheel. It was good to see LV from up above. The ride moved very slow so it was a bit boring. Overall after doing it once no need to ride again.

First time I ever rode it, I didn't know what I was signing up for. You hear that slow click... click... click as you climb, thinking, "Alright, how bad could this be?" Then it drops and suddenly you're questioning every life decision that led you to that seat. It's fast, it feels a little wild, almost rickety like it might toss you into the Vegas skyline, and I wasn't ready for it. Not even close. But man... what a trip. And here's the thing that ride became more than just a thrill. One of the last trips I ever took with my dad, we rode that coaster together. I didn't know at the time he was sick... didn't know he had cancer. He never told me. But I remember that ride clear as day. I was focused on grabbing one of those little souvenir keychains after, something simple. He had other plans wanted the bigger photo, something we could hold onto. At the time, I didn't think much of it. Now? That picture means everything. So every time I go back to Vegas, I ride it. No questions asked. It's tradition. And for something that looks compact tucked into the Strip, this thing punches way above its weight. It hits speeds around 67 mph, throws you through a full loop and a barrel roll, and pulls enough G-force to make you feel like a fighter pilot for a few seconds. It's one of the few coasters right on a major city strip like this, and it doesn't hold back. By the time you step off, your legs are a little shaky, your stomach's doing a reset, and yeah you're probably ready to eat something. Quick tip: don't ride it at the end of a long night. Either go in fresh or give yourself some buffer after eating. This one's got some bite. I'll be honest it's not about chasing thrills like I used to. I'm not some hardcore coaster guy. But this? This is different. This is memory, adrenaline, and tradition all wrapped into one loud, fast, unforgettable ride above Las Vegas. Ride it once for the thrill. Ride it again for the ones you remember.

How can you go wrong with an electric powered vehicle that was designed for bumping into other cars? Well, head on collisions can really mess up your back, spine, or whatever other skeletal terms you wanna go by. That is why for this track you are only supposed to go in one direction. In this case, counter clockwise. Still you will have those people that either dont know how to drive or just wanna be idiots and bump into everybody or both. You must be 54 inches tall to drive, at least 42 to ride. Before you are even let on to the track, you have those measuring sticks there at the entrance. Make sure to buckle up or the attendant walking around will not let the fun begin. Each car can fit two people if one is not tall enough to drive. There is only the one gas pedal on the left. To slow down or stop, simply just take your foot off the pedal. Or you can just bump into somebody if you wanna stop right away. To back up towards whatever direction you wanna go just turn the steering wheel to all the way to the extreme right or left. In the end, even after all this info, some people just dont know how to drive. Dont let any of these people drive you to the hospital. I know my kids could probably be happy here for hours and hours though. If you aren't a local, then I'm not sure if the ticket price on top of having to pay for parking would feel worth it, but then again that is dependent on each person and what they want to do for their family. This was our first time to the shark aquarium, even though we've been living out here for about seven years, and also a first for me even going to Mandalay Bay despite visiting Vegas often before having kids and moving out here. Just from the area of walking to go to the ticket area inside, Mandalay seems very spacious and beautiful. I could even see myself spending a good amount of time with the kids just walking around in the non-casino sections.

We fully understood that the activity was intended for children ages 5 and up. However, staff scanned and accepted my daughter's ticket without any issue and allowed us to go through the entire process, which naturally led us to believe she was approved to participate. It wasn't until we reached the very front, after waiting and getting her excited for the experience, that staff suddenly stopped us and told her she could not participate. Having to tell a child at the last second that she was no longer allowed to join after already being checked in was incredibly upsetting. Our daughter immediately started crying and was devastated. My wife and I then had to step away to comfort and carry her while everyone else continued on. Because of how poorly this was handled, neither my wife nor I were able to enjoy the experience either. The issue is not the rule itself we respected the age requirement. The problem is the complete lack of communication and professionalism. If there was an issue with her eligibility, it should have been addressed before her ticket was scanned and before we waited through the line and built up her expectations. Instead of creating a positive family memory, this experience left us frustrated, embarrassed, and deeply disappointed. We spent time, money, and effort planning this outing only to have it ruined by poor organization and careless handling of the situation. Families deserve better communication and better treatment than this.

Looking for a view! Let's go!!…read more Are you brave enough to make it to the top and then look out at the city. If you're looking for a challenge and want to just do something fun let's just do it. These days, let life be about living. Now we need to buy our tickets on the web. It's been years since we used to get them at the box office below the deck of the Paris. Make sure and have them loaded on your phone. You walk up the stairs and get into an elevator. Let's go. On most days there are no lines. If not the wait is not long. The elevator has windows in it that you can watch the whole show all the way up. Here we go. The people below get so small. This is one of the many ways to spend an afternoon. The twins and others are present around me . It's always special when we are surrounded by those that we love. As the elevator stops it's time to get out. Are you brave enough? The views are amazing here. You stand still. Stare down and see all that's happening around you. It's not mc

If you are visiting the Paris hotel on the Las Vegas strip, this is a must-do attraction. The…read moreEiffel Tower replica is half the height of the real thing, but at 46 stories up, the viewing deck does afford some great views of the strip and in particular the Bellagio hotel and its fountains. I would highly recommend going after 3pm since the Bellagio runs its fountain shows every 30 minutes from then, and I believe every 15 after 7pm. And of course if you want to see the strip all lit up you'll want to wait until the evening anyway, but the views are still great regardless and there's no limit to how long you can stay up on the observation deck. It's decent value for money with tickets starting at around $25. Generally the best price is to buy from the shops or kiosks in the hotel on the day, using third party booking services usually adds a bit more to the price. The kiosks are handy, although I don't like the fact you have to enter personal information on a screen others can see. Also be aware, unlike the elevators in the Stratosphere, these are not fully enclosed, and I know for many that adds to the experience, though it's a bit claustrophobic and I struggle with that a little but am fine once at the top. The ride up and down takes about 90 seconds, and there's a guide that provides history of the tower and will answer any questions. There are also attendants at the top to assist and answer questions also.
