Finally decided after 5 years, to go skydiving again! Found Skydive Las Vegas online and made our reservation a couple months out. With that I was relieved that they called to check with us the day prior and texted the address and to see if we had any questions. We got there and it was neat to see people enjoying their experience. Sky Dive LV is on the backside of the building, they got us checked in and it was a few minutes then we watched a video and got spun up on what to do. Within 30 minutes we were suited up, and then Mauro and Carlos were our professionals to jump with. It was exciting, fun, and I felt safe! (I know crazy right!). There was good instruction, good communication, and it was a great experience to do again here. Didn't realize (so surprise) but it was neat that my boyfriend and I were the only party for our ride up, which was special to us rather than a random group of 6-8 like our first experiences elsewhere. Views here were awesome! Cannot say it'll always be this way, but within two hours we were heading home, which was nice for timing! Prices are typical for sky diving. Nothing too out of the ordinary. I did my jump on 4/14 and luckily the weather was perfect. I don't see any of my pics or videos on the site which is a bummer because they're amazing :). I highly recommend SLV for anyone's first jump. Make sure you have cash to tip the experienced staff who have their lives in your hands. Also, get the video package especially if it's your first time, you'll want something to remember the experience. What a wonderful way to wake up in Vegas! I did my jump with John and he was awesome. All the staffs were friendly and they explained everything in details, which made the jump even more fun as you have no fear. After the pickup, we were given waivers to sign and watched instructional video on the shuttle. Once we arrived in Boulder City, we were weighted, sent to a mini training session, paid our fees (jump and video + pictures runs about $369 per person), and geared up. As the plane arrived, they load based on largest to smallest. So if you're tiny, you'll be the first to jump! The jump itself wasn't scared, it was the initial looking out the plan and hovering your legs prior to the jump that was scary. After the leap, the jump was exhilarating! One major perks is John. My son, daughter and I went today. It was a fathers day present from my son and was my first time. My instructor, Jace, was amazing. He found that the three of us were a fun trio and knew he could joke with us, so it was on. Once we exited the perfectly good plane and we were falling I took an immediate deep breath. Then it was just peaceful, exhilarating, amazingly fast with a feeling of being weightless, for me. I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants to skydive. Crew is very professional and made you feel at ease the entire time. Shuttle picks you up at the McDonald's parking lot in the back across from Mandalay bay. Video in the bus of a guy explaining how you can die doesn't necessarily make you feel great. Once you arrive, they sit you down and brief you on the safety. What to do when you're in the plane, how to position yourself when you jump. You wear a jump suit and your tandem instructor tells you everything you need to know. You have the option to purchase video and pics and they record you throughout the process. After that, it's just a quick 2 min ride going 120 mph. read more

I had an amazing experience. My instructor was John. This was my first time sky diving and i was scared out of my mind. John reassured me the whole time i was safe and that i would be okay. He and the other staff members made my trip very smooth and simple. They have a simple but cool waiting area which has vending machines if you get hungry or thirsty. You can also watch as the group ahead of you gets suited for the jump and you can go outside to watch as the people land! There are pictures and videos available for you to purchase. I love words... Yet the words I would use to describe the experience, do not quite capture it... Skydiving Las Vegas made my first tandem jump from 1500 feet... AWESOME!!! I must also add that my tremendously excellent instructor, Mauro, was totally present in ensuring he guided me through the most incredibly magnificent, overwhelmingly wondrous dopamine high I've ever had in my life!!! The pictures and videos bundle are well worth the cost... A couple of hours after the jump I was able to watch my first tandem skydive in video and stills, and I felt a surge of endorphins recoursing through my body... Well worth it!!! It took me a lot of convincing to do this. And even when I agreed to do this, I was still not convinced to skydive. I have anxiety and trying something for the first time...now, factor in the chance of dying. Imagine taking pre-workout and it turns out to be your rest day and somebody puts you in a box - that's how it feels like. I've ziplined and jumped off buildings before so I know I'm not afraid of heights. So, what is it about skydiving that I'm scared of? This just seems like a stupid idea. The bad photos of your face flapping around in midair...that you have to pay for. I've done so many things that are teetering around stupid. Ding! That's when I realized that's all I ever do! Bad relationships, strange food, my driving...I digress. My friend and I have not done this and we were both nervous. My sister told us to eat something light for breakfast. Our appointment wasn't until noon and when we got there, it was cloudy. So, we had to wait until the sky was clear. We filled out a 4-page waiver basically giving our rights to live away. We were instructed how to do the banana pose and how to land. We watched a video. Some people before us ended up rescheduling. And I was thinking that's what we should do to. It's a sign! I was not meant to do this. I was soooo hungry and I was not happy. It's a good thing they have a TV so, I was entertained watching a documentary of a surfer who got attacked by a shark. 1.5 hours later, we got suited up and got to meet our instructors. I looked like a Ghostbuster wearing my jumpsuit. I can't say enough about the people that work here. They were funny and understood that some people are more nervous than others. They lightened up the mood. My instructor was Kevin. He asked me why I was skydiving and I said "I blame my sister for this stupid decision. I just want to get this over with so I could eat." He assured me that everything will be fine. They only had the small planes available so, out group got separated: the 2 scaredy cat newbs, and the weed smokers (they're not really that but they were calm so they might as well be). But honestly, I was calm and cracking jokes the whole time. Until, my feet were dangling off the edge of the plane and were falling at which point I was screaming "WHAT THE HELL? THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!!!" - a moment that was perfectly captured on high-resolution photo. Flying to the right altitude of about 15,000 ft took 30 minutes. The descent from when we jumped off the plane until we landed was about 10 minutes. You get to do some spins. We had a perfectly smooth landing. So now that you're done skydiving, you pick up your memorabilia. I mean, why wouldn't you pay for unflattering photos of you with your mouth hanging wide open and face stretched out in a picture or better yet, a video of you transforming into a basset hound? Digital pictures $69 DVD video $99 MP4 video $99 Blu-Ray video $129 Picture and DVD Combo $129 Picture and Blu-Ray Combo $159 You can have your video edited with music (options: cinematic, classic rock, electronica, extreme sports, country, Latin, metal, pop or rock) and a block of cheese if you wish. Phenomenal, spectacular and a little bit of ridiculousness. I have traveled all over the U.S. to different theme parks for extreme roller coasters....then I did this... Why did I go to all those theme parks? The only analogy I can think of would be, skydiving is like driving a race car. Everything else is like driving Prius. Excellent first time experience! These guys are pros.. this was my first time and I never once doubted that I was on good hand (literally ). Great pre jump instruction, all the staff are knowledgeable and the instructors definitely add laughs and smiles along the whole adventure. My only comment is, make sure you factor in ya ing enough cash on hand for a tip.., after our jump, I was still trying to gain my land legs and was feeling a l ittle nauseous which is common. But, I realized I didn't have much cash on me except for $100 bill so I asked the front desk to break the bill so I could give John a very well-deserved tip. They weren't so friendly or really attentive and told me to wait because they were busy. So I waited about 10 minutes and they didn't even turn to look at me to give me an idea of how much longer I needed to wait. Overall, highly recommend these guys! SHUTTLE DIDNT ARRIVE My biggest bucket list item is skydiving and I've been looking forward to doing it in Vegas since I booked my vacation. I scheduled for the 730 am dive as it offers shuttle service. The email mentions to be there 700 am. To ensure I did not miss it I woke up 600 am and got there before 700 am. I waited and called multiple times to get no answer. Left multiple voicemails. Sent emails. Waited until 800 am in the event there was an issue with the shuttle. But was also confused as email mentioned I would be contacted if there was any delay or changes. I decided to leave and once I got back to my hotel I got a call from them stating I was called and they left a voicemail yesterday afternoon saying they were not opening today. I booked yesterday evening so they obviously had not reached out to me. They were also not very apologetic regarding wasting my time as I could have booked elsewhere. VERY UPSET as it is my last day in Vegas. If you plan to shuttle book elsewhere. *They did return my money but still wasted my time. read more

I almost died. Skydive Las Vegas was not a good choice. I wish I had chosen another place for this once in a lifetime activity. I did not like my guy. He seemed nervous and uneasy, which made me question, "how much experience does he have under his belt?" He didn't have good people skills either. Something about him was off. As we were flying up, one guy from the crew kept making jokes that had to do with endangering our safety. The nuance of all the jokes made light of us trusting them with our lives. They seemed unprofessional and the jokes made me feel uncomfortable. When they saw that I wasn't amused at their jokes, they misread my expression and laughed at me saying I looked terrified. Their unmannered joking aside, once we jumped, it was exhilarating. But my glorious bliss was short-lived to only about 5 seconds because I realized I could NOT BREATHE. The strong winds made it impossible for me to gasp for air. I assessed how far I was from landing. I had a moment seriously contemplating, "would I be able to make it and not pass out from lack of oxygen?" Even before I could finish my thought, I felt a rush of intense migraine settling upon me. I never felt such pain in my head. When my guy pulled out the parachute, that was when we slowed down the speed of our freefall, at this point I was enabled to quickly gasp for air. But it got worse when he teetered tottered with the strings which sped up the fall all over again. Whenever he tilted to the side, I started to experience difficulty breathing because of the speed and the wind. Obviously I couldn't communicate to him that I wanted him to stop because I had no breath for words. When we landed, I told the guy I had trouble breathing and that I was experiencing a headache. I asked if anyone passed out. He said he had a guy who actually fainted. But that was the extent of his response because he got the parachute tangled and was too occupied to care about my condition. I went inside and my headache got worse. I asked the guy at the counter for an aspirin. He didn't have any and he said he had to wait for the others on the plane to get back because they had the key. There was no one around this place to assist me and give me any kind of attention. I threw up in the bathroom. Long story short, we ended up leaving. On our 30min drive back to the hotel, I threw up seven times!!! Back at the hotel, I had to be in bed for 1.5 days. I experienced 3 more massive migranes. I searched my symptoms online. It matched to altitude sickness or hypoxia. Worst case scenario I could go into a coma. When I went back home, I went straight to my doctor. He confirmed that I experienced altitude sickness but seemed to be okay. A week later I encountered another massive migraine.These were the worst headaches I've experienced in my life. Because I continued to get migraines, my doctor ordered an MRI just to rule out any brain trauma. More money down the drain but it was necessary to have peace of mind. Honestly, skydiving is an exhilarating activity and I would recommend it to anyone who has this on their bucket list. If I hadn't experience lack of oxygen I would have enjoyed it. However, in my case, I experience a dangerous symptom and I did not like how there was no one available. The skydive itself was amazing and I don't regret doing it. What I regret was choosing to have this experience with Skydive Las Vegas. They were unprofessional and there was no one available to assist me after the jump. If i had gotten an Advil or at least a simple advise on what I should do, I wouldn't have written this review. Even if what I experienced was unpreventable on their part and they have zero fault, they should have at least been available, been attentive, and provided basic information or advise to help my condition. They just didn't care. I think it's because they have us sign off heavy paperwork before the jump that they have developed a culture of not caring. Another activity checked off the bucket list! Definitely had a great time. The staff is friendly and experienced. However, since we did this for a bachelor party we all had to ride tandem with another guy. haha some of our guys were bigger than the trainers which didn't seem to make sense. If you have a larger group they'll give you a discounted rate per person. If you chose to purchase pictures/video they use two GoCam's which shoot in 1080p HD. This is not the same feeling as a roller coaster but more like a huge leaf blower in yo face for like 40 seconds until he pulls the parachute and you sail for like 5 minutes until you hit the ground. If you open your mouth to shout at the camera you'll definitely dry it out in about .2 seconds. 1 star off because it took a while to watch this 1960 video of this Gandolf looking fellow with a long white beard explain how you have no rights if you die and that it'll be a very fun time. Also, it took forever to actually jump from learning the landing maneuvers to just waiting for people to go before you even though we made an appointment. We were there from 9am-2pm. read more

Absolutely awesome! I won't give the 5-star treatment because I have nothing with which to compare. Yes friends. This was my first time jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. But make no mistake. It was bloody incredible. From the time I arrived to the time I left, it was a great experience. They had me sign in and stand on the scale (to make sure I'm not too much of a fat ass). I then sat down to fill out the paperwork of doom. You pretty much sign your life and your first born child away; I was completely OK with that. To cut to the chase, I finally went out to the hangar area, put on the gear, and boarded the plane. I didn't order any video or photo package, but the instructor brings the camera anyway in case you change your mind. I was surprised at how quickly the plane gets to takeoff speed. It takes about 10 minutes to reach 15K feet. Finally, the moment of truth. Honestly, I wasn't nervous at all. I've been waiting to do this for EVAR. The first split second of the freefall gave me that weightlessness feeling, but that was over quickly. Still, it was not disappointing at all. I enjoyed every second of that freefall. After the chute opened, it was much more of a relaxing ride down to terra firma. The instructor let me steer for a little bit. It was fun doing a hard right for a couple of seconds. It felt like the final helix of many roller coasters. Would I do it again? Hell yes! I enjoyed it so much that I ended up ordering that DVD. Let me tell you. I look horrible in the video! I was having the time of my life, but the video makes me look like I was in severe distress. The uber-tight goggles didn't help. If it wasn't for the cost, I'd do this every day. read more

Preparing to jump out of a plane from 3 miles above ground might be a scary experience for some, but the Skydive Las Vegas instructors make you feel excited and ready to go. Not that you won't have just a tiny bit of jitters, although the cold air at that altitude probably accounts for most of it. You watch a video about the dangers of skydiving and Skydive Las Vegas' non-liability. You sign and initial pages and pages, giving away your rights, some of which are pretty extreme and would be ridiculously broad if the contract was fully enforced. The Skydive Las Vegas folks are really cool, all very experienced, and help you feel at ease with everything that will be happening. It was a good experience to try, and worth the money to at least try it once, although at $200 per person, it'll be a while before we decide to do it again. ****** SPOILER WARNING ******* You have some quick training, pay money, and get suited up. You get into a small plane with your fellow jumpers and get strapped to your instructor. The plane goes higher and higher, and when it's your turn, your instructor tells you how you'll exit the plane, and OMG!!!/CRAZY/WINDY/HEARTBEATING/WHEEEEEEE! until parachute opens, you're floating, and spiraling down towards the landing site and realizing that you no longer have to worry about the parachute not opening. It's incredible, beautiful, a little surreal but also what you expect. Then it's over real quick! And sort of anticlimactic while you wait to get back into a van and head back to the strip. ************************************* ** Note that from the time you get into the van until the time you leave, they will try to sell you video footage of your jump. Even if you decide you don't want to buy a DVD or photos, every instructor jumps with a camera in hand to film your experience. ** Figure out not only where the van picks up but where it will drop you off. We left our car at the pickup location because we thought we'd be returned there, but the dropoff for everyone was actually somewhere else. The driver agreed to return us to the pickup location after some hesitation, but seemed seemed to express the inconvenience of having to do so. read more

I am turning 40 this year and skydiving has been a long time item on my bucket list. I am happy that I was able to cross it off my list after my experience @ Skydive LV. After reading all the reviews on Yelp, talking w/ a fellow Yelper about her experience @ SLV, and browsing their website, I made my reservations for a friend and I to jump. I would say be flexible with the dates you want to jump because of the wind we have here- your flight may be postponed. Make sure to not wear any jewelry. And don't forget your tennis shoes! I was happy with the overall experience I had with this company, but I did feel like they are in the business to get as many people through the door, up, back down, and out as quickly as possible. You are asked to fill out 3 sheets of paper with all the safety,rules, and legal information. While doing so, you are taken to a room to watch a video on the safety and the jumping procedure. Then you are asked to show that you understand the jumping procedure on an ottoman in the room. All of this at once was very overwhelming. It made me anxious and nervous and I wasn't even suited up yet. I did feel safe and in good hands with the pilot and the instructors. I was the last one in and the first one out of the plane. Make sure to take in the view of the valley on the way up. The feeling of leaving the plane was so intense. I can say I did not enjoy the free fall at all. It was so fast and so windy- not my cup of tea. Once the shoot opened I felt better and was able to enjoy the view. Dangling above the earth- still not my cup of tea. Very skilled to have us land in the same area as we took off from. I was happy to be back on solid ground and I never want to go again- once is enough thank you very much. :) The next day I am so sore but I am grateful for my once in a lifetime memories thanks to Skydive LV. read more

This has to be one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life! I booked for Saturday but the weather had other plans. So I re-booked for Sunday morning. I was freaked out because I get the nerve, drive all the way down to Boulder and than have to do it all again the next day! Today the weather was great and there was a lot of people getting ready to jump. Luckily I had already been there the day before, filled the paperwork out, watched the videos and paid, so it was a fast process for me today. I was in the second group that went up. They allow you to go out and watch as people are jumping out of the plane, just kind of gets you in the mood. Made me even more nervous because it was becoming realistic! I had John as my partner and he was very nice and was good about talking to me. He likes to jump first so I got to sit right next to the roll up door. That was freaky at first but once we were up in the plane it was like a big window. Until its time to open it, ahhhh! We moved over the edge and down we went!!! It was seriously so awesome! I didn't get the weird rollercoaster gut feeling. It was just a big rush. Before he pulled the parachute I was ready to go again. I would recommend this business to anyone considering skydiving. They were very helpful, friendly, and the video and pictures are great. I'm so glad I was given such a wonderful experience for my first time around. My instructor - Kyle - was very thorough with everything he told me and always stopped to make sure I was comfortable in the harness. The flying and landing position were reiterated at least two to three times after initially learning them so I felt safe the entire time. I also loved all the pictures and videos that Kyle took! I went very early in the morning and I recommend it to anyone who considers going. It is a lot cooler and it goes by faster - but still does not take away from the experience. I really enjoyed that they did not make me sit around and wait because I would have just gotten extremely anxious and probably would have opted out of doing it. Skydive Las Vegas is the best skydive center in the world! Okay, so I can't really confirm that. I have jumped twice in my life. Both times were at Skydive Las Vegas. So I don't have a comparison company to confirm my initial statement. I can tell you that I fully trust Skydive Las Vegas. I am a fan of them. I drive out to their facility just to watch people jump. It is $200 for there 3 mile jump (15,000 feet above sea level, 13,000 feet above the local terra firma). That seems to be a standard fee for similar jumps elsewhere across the United States. I have done my research as I plan for jumps in other areas. My first jump was in January af 2008. It was beautiful weather. Clear and cold. I had a smooth ridde up and an exciting ride down. I loved it. I opted for the DVD and photo package as I had a coupon for it. I am quite glad I did get it. I had so much fun I had to go back for a second jump. Fast forward to May of 2008. On a whim I deceided to go for my second dive on Memorial Day. This one did not go so well. The staff was still great as they had been on my first jump. The weather, however, was not great. The ride up was rough. It was hot on the ground and cold in the air. This caused a massive brain freeze when the door opened. So now I was nauseous from the ride and I had a killer headache. Then the instructor showed me how to spin. By this time I was just ready to be on the ground. When the chute deployed I was offered a chance to pull the toggles a bit. I wanted to but I just did not have it in me. We landed, I thanked the man, I drove home. I still had fun but it took a toll on me. I have not jumped since though I would love to again. I recommend to anybody to jump in the winter. The ride up is so much more pleasent. Regardless of when you consider jumping, stop considering and just do it. You wont be disappointed. read more

My second time stopping by skydive Las Vegas and it was just as professional as the initial visit with my brother. My friend from Korea were visiting and hoping to make some memories. The company called me the day before and asked we move out reservation to 7am as they were concerned about the wind kicking up in the afternoon and wanted to fit as many people in as they could. The pre-flight materials were quick and to the point all in all from initial arrival to take off was about 30-45 min. All the guys there are super professional and I would recommend using them for your Las Vegas skydiving experience. Total price with photos only on a USB drive were about $300. A video would make it a little more closer to $400. The experience goes by super quick, I would recommend pictures at the minimum to remember what you paid for! read more

I called a few days earlier to confirm a few things and to get any final information I needed and everyone I spoke to was courteous and knowledgeable about everything I asked. Surprised my boyfriend for his 30th birthday by taking him here this morning! Price was fair (we even opted for the photo/video package which is totally worth it), staff showed excellent customer service, and the process was very smooth and well-timed. They allot for 4 hours, but we were there just under 2 (probably because we were the first group of the day). Highly recommend these guys! read more

I had the a great time with the guys at Skydive Las Vegas as they taught a group of guys how to sky dive for the first time. My instructor Fred made every minute up to the jump very comfortable. The group told jokes asked questions and answered any question you had to make you feel at ease. Woke up at 6:00 am my first first morning in Vegas for a 7:00 a.m. pickup and drive to to the skydive facility. Took a Lyft to pickup site ($20), got picked up, drove to the facility while watching a video about jump dangers and techniques. Filled out the waiver, got to the site, watched another video, practiced the "banana" and only then was told the Skydive Las Vegas plane transponder was non-functional and it would be a minimum 3-hour wait to fix. Meanwhile Sin City was taking off every 15 minutes. Total waste of my time and money. Would NEVER recommend--what kind of garbage company fails to maintain basic required equipment on their airplane and doesn't tell customers until they are far out in the dusty desert. Garbage company, garbage maintenance. I shudder to imagine the quality of their gear, parachutes, worker training.... I feel like I might have dodged a bullet. I'm using Sin City next time. Or any other company besides Skydive Las Vegas. read more

I had been thinking about going skydiving for several months and on sunday night I got an overwhelming urge to just do it. I jumped online and saw the good reviews for Skydive Las Vegas and was able to schedule the date and time right on the website for Tuesday morning, less than 48 hours away. I received a call the evening before to confirm and then another 'wake up' call the morning of, which was nice. I arrived at the location at 0730 hours, filled out some paperwork and watched a short video. We were briefly shown how to position our body while free-falling and then demonstrated it. A short while later I suited up and was on the plane within about 15 minutes of suiting up. The plane was small, only big enough to fit me and my instructor and one other guy and his instructor. The plane took off with the door open and it remained open until we reached our desired altitude. The other guy in the plane and his instructor inched over to the edge and fell out, then it was our turn. My instructor Greg and I scooted to the edge of the plane, I was basically hanging out of the plane and he was seated on the edge. Crossed my arms, tucked my feet, and we fell out. The free fall was amazing and when the parachute opened aside from a little bit of uncomfortable-ness from the harness the descent was awesome. Greg my instructor was good and told me everything I needed to do. For someone who is terrified of heights I was actually not very nervous during the entire process. My total with MP4 video and digital pictures on a USB plus the jump was $370. I heard that their bigger plane is getting some maintenance done so we used this small plane, so hopefully if a bigger plane is available they will have an option to have a third person jump and film you. I think it provides better video that way. Overall the entire experience was great, and the fact that I'm still alive to write this is even better. read more

Literally just got in the car after my first jump. What an incredible way to start your day. First off, I am a daredevil to be sure, and have wanted to do this all my life. Was I terrified? Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. It's nerve wracking. BUT - The instructors here are top notch, and extremely experienced. The whole process was very quick and seamless, and the obvious confidence of the instructors makes you feel at ease on the way up - which was the scariest part in my opinion. The airplane is small. Once that door is open though, you gotta just let go and take in the view. What a view! Surprisingly, once you jump out of the plane, it's far more peaceful than you might imagine. Gentle, even. I feel very lucky to have gotten Kevin as my instructor (we're both a bit sassy lol) and my man had Mauro, who had super great energy. These guys really know what they are doing. Have no fear, you are in good hands here! I didn't care for the orientation video - I couldn't even listen to the guy in it because I was too distracted by the fact that he looks like a former ZZ Top member in a far less cool outfit. But the staff here made up for it. Those who complain about the price and/or quality of photos clearly are concerned about the wrong things... like safety and a GOOD EXPERIENCE. Which was absolutely amazing and 10/10 would do again. My only complaint is that there was ONE guy who was pretty rude/insensitive to a Chinese customer who clearly didn't understand well enough to be offended, and then made jokes with his name. "Yang... Yang? Ying? Yong?" The guy was a shorter brunette man with a round belly and seemed to be in charge of the ground staff. I hope that if he is indeed a manager, that he will see this and be more considerate when speaking to foreigners, because the rest of us can see you even if they can't, and just FYI - it's not a good look. Four people were also taking about this as we left, so at least six people were offended by his remarks, which weren't even about or directed at us. He was the only person who was a negative point for me in an otherwise perfect time. read more

The great: The guys you tandem dive with are amazing! Wilmer and John were fantastic! You feel comfortable and as safe as you can while jumping from the plane. Very friendly and extremely professional. One guy had 15,000+ jumps under his belt! The bad: The front office employees share none of the professionalism and knowledge of the jump crew. In fact, none of the front office employees we asked had ever done a jump! How can you expect your customers to feel at ease, or at least they are in good hands, when you can't answer our questions? Issues we experienced: The van was 30 min late to pick us up from our scheduled departure location on the strip (I had to call to check status - no one contacted me). The driver of the van consistently drove erratic and over 80 MPH. On the way back to the strip from the jump site, with full van of 15 people, the driver nearly caused an accident by rear ending a stopped car due to traffic. After breaking very hard to avoid hitting the car in front of us, the driver yelled back and said, "Sorry folks. The van seems to be having some issues." To which I replied, "Perhaps you should slow down if the van is not ok." He did not reply. ***Take note: We felt safer SKYDIVING than we did in the van with this crazy employee behind the wheel.*** I'm no saint in the driver's seat, but this guy was more interested in changing the radio channel to find Aerosmith than he was with making sure we all arrived safely. read more
