I got this for my boyfriend as a birthday present- and he LOVED it. He said the instructor was incredible and he instantly made plans to come back. Thank you so much!

Friendly staffs and they work hard to keep the place clean!

What a wonderful way to wake up in Vegas! I did my jump with John and he was awesome. All the staffs were friendly and they explained everything in details, which made the jump even more fun as you have no fear. After the pickup, we were given waivers to sign and watched instructional video on the shuttle. Once we arrived in Boulder City, we were weighted, sent to a mini training session, paid our fees (jump and video + pictures runs about $369 per person), and geared up. As the plane arrived, they load based on largest to smallest. So if you're tiny, you'll be the first to jump! The jump itself wasn't scared, it was the initial looking out the plan and hovering your legs prior to the jump that was scary. After the leap, the jump was exhilarating! One major perks is John. He made me feel safe and comfortable. Bc of him, I'm excited to go higher than 15,000 ft next time!

John my instructor did a great job and so as my husband's instructor Maurob (I hope I got his name right) 11/10 would recommend this place. They made us feel so safe! They took the fear/nervousness and turned it to excitement. Will definitely do it again and again and again. 'Twas the best of the best experience!!

My experience with Skydive Las Vegas was phenomenal! It was important to me to be able to have my friends there to enjoy it with and unlike many other skydiving companies I called, skydive Las Vegas has larger planes that allow big groups so that my friends and I could all jump together! The staff was high energy and acted as if the jump itself was just as exciting as the first time they did it. I couldn't say enough about Skydive Las Vegas and truly feel that it was worth every penny.

Crew is very professional and made you feel at ease the entire time. Shuttle picks you up at the McDonald's parking lot in the back across from Mandalay bay. Video in the bus of a guy explaining how you can die doesn't necessarily make you feel great. Once you arrive, they sit you down and brief you on the safety. What to do when you're in the plane, how to position yourself when you jump. You wear a jump suit and your tandem instructor tells you everything you need to know. You have the option to purchase video and pics and they record you throughout the process. After that, it's just a quick 2 min ride going 120 mph.

Awesome experience!!! Wonderful experience with Moreau (sp?). Here's a picture of me from today's jump!

I had an amazing experience. My instructor was John. This was my first time sky diving and i was scared out of my mind. John reassured me the whole time i was safe and that i would be okay. He and the other staff members made my trip very smooth and simple. They have a simple but cool waiting area which has vending machines if you get hungry or thirsty. You can also watch as the group ahead of you gets suited for the jump and you can go outside to watch as the people land! There are pictures and videos available for you to purchase. I would suggest buying the video because then you can take your own snapshots from it ! The media portion is a bit pricey but worth it! #1 recommendation for sky diving !

I love words... Yet the words I would use to describe the experience, do not quite capture it... Skydiving Las Vegas made my first tandem jump from 1500 feet... AWESOME!!! I must also add that my tremendously excellent instructor, Mauro, was totally present in ensuring he guided me through the most incredibly magnificent, overwhelmingly wondrous dopamine high I've ever had in my life!!! The pictures and videos bundle are well worth the cost... A couple of hours after the jump I was able to watch my first tandem skydive in video and stills, and I felt a surge of endorphins recoursing through my body... Well worth it!!! The ability to look at life from a different perspective is epically AWESOME!!!!

It took me a lot of convincing to do this. And even when I agreed to do this, I was still not convinced to skydive. I have anxiety and trying something for the first time...now, factor in the chance of dying. Imagine taking pre-workout and it turns out to be your rest day and somebody puts you in a box - that's how it feels like. I've ziplined and jumped off buildings before so I know I'm not afraid of heights. So, what is it about skydiving that I'm scared of? This just seems like a stupid idea. The bad photos of your face flapping around in midair...that you have to pay for. I've done so many things that are teetering around stupid. Ding! That's when I realized that's all I ever do! Bad relationships, strange food, my driving...I digress. My friend and I have not done this and we were both nervous. My sister told us to eat something light for breakfast. Our appointment wasn't until noon and when we got there, it was cloudy. So, we had to wait until the sky was clear. We filled out a 4-page waiver basically giving our rights to live away. We were instructed how to do the banana pose and how to land. We watched a video. Some people before us ended up rescheduling. And I was thinking that's what we should do to. It's a sign! I was not meant to do this. I was soooo hungry and I was not happy. It's a good thing they have a TV so, I was entertained watching a documentary of a surfer who got attacked by a shark. 1.5 hours later, we got suited up and got to meet our instructors. I looked like a Ghostbuster wearing my jumpsuit. I can't say enough about the people that work here. They were funny and understood that some people are more nervous than others. They lightened up the mood. My instructor was Kevin. He asked me why I was skydiving and I said "I blame my sister for this stupid decision. I just want to get this over with so I could eat." He assured me that everything will be fine. They only had the small planes available so, out group got separated: the 2 scaredy cat newbs, and the weed smokers (they're not really that but they were calm so they might as well be). But honestly, I was calm and cracking jokes the whole time. Until, my feet were dangling off the edge of the plane and were falling at which point I was screaming "WHAT THE HELL? THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!!!" - a moment that was perfectly captured on high-resolution photo. Flying to the right altitude of about 15,000 ft took 30 minutes. The descent from when we jumped off the plane until we landed was about 10 minutes. You get to do some spins. We had a perfectly smooth landing. So now that you're done skydiving, you pick up your memorabilia. I mean, why wouldn't you pay for unflattering photos of you with your mouth hanging wide open and face stretched out in a picture or better yet, a video of you transforming into a basset hound? Digital pictures $69 DVD video $99 MP4 video $99 Blu-Ray video $129 Picture and DVD Combo $129 Picture and Blu-Ray Combo $159 You can have your video edited with music (options: cinematic, classic rock, electronica, extreme sports, country, Latin, metal, pop or rock) and a block of cheese if you wish. But Michael Bolton was not option so, it's a no for me. If you want the files in a USB $10 extra So now, I'm looking at skydiving in a different country. YAY!!!

Excellent first time experience! These guys are pros.. this was my first time and I never once doubted that I was on good hand (literally ). Great pre jump instruction, all the staff are knowledgeable and the instructors definitely add laughs and smiles along the whole adventure. My only comment is, make sure you factor in ya ing enough cash on hand for a tip.., after our jump, I was still trying to gain my land legs and was feeling a l ittle nauseous which is common. But, I realized I didn't have much cash on me except for $100 bill so I asked the front desk to break the bill so I could give John a very well-deserved tip. They weren't so friendly or really attentive and told me to wait because they were busy. So I waited about 10 minutes and they didn't even turn to look at me to give me an idea of how much longer I needed to wait. Overall, highly recommend these guys! Thank you for a great first time!

How do refunds work? What if someone decides not to follow through with the jump?

I believe the fee you pay to skydive is non refundable once you're in the air in the plane then decide not to jump. If you cancel ahead of time I'm sure it is refundable. Don't quote me though. Call the office and ask. I do know we had to cancel… Read more

The staff reaching out were very accommodating and easy to deal with in the minor reschedule. Desirae was working check in on my very early arrival. She was awesome, informative, friendly, and very generous in allowing me to stash my motorcycle helmet and jacket outside of provided lockers, it in her control. Really nice customer service and friendliness despite some of the other "customers". Top notch. I've had a little prior experience jumping, and was matched with Dimitrios as my jumpmaster/tandem. That dude is awesome. Enthusiastic, engaging, and true fun pro. Knowing I had a sprinkling of experience, he leaned into it and gave me quite an excursion. I was just there for the rush and ride, and boy did he provide! Would absolutely do again. Big props to Desirae and Dimitirios. They made an already exciting and fun experience, superb. Side note to Desirae- I followed your advice on the charger ride up the road- excellent. Thank you for the recommendation..

We went to Hawaii when there was the big storm and we were worried about the weather so we moved our jump to later in the week when it clears up. We were never told about ANYTHING regarding our deposit, so then we moved it very easily and customer service was great. We then realize the day before the jump that it will be cloudy and not worth the money so we wanted to cancel overall. So we called and the lady told us that in order to get a full refund for the deposit, we need to cancel at least 48 hours before the appointment. SHE then OFFERED to move the jump 72 hours ahead so we can call back and CANCEL the day after our call. We then call the next day, 48 hours before and try to cancel and the guy tells us we can't get a refund but we have the option to lock our deposit (until we jump; forever). We try arguing and yelling at him to give us the deposit of $260 back because the lady before told us we could. We decided to call another time to see if we could talk to someone different and she told us the same thing; we can't just move the appointment ahead outside of the cancellation window just to cancel???!!! At this point we give up and hopefully I'll be skydiving with a group of 5 in the future, because my $260 is locked away. Also we were setting up our appointment and there was a hidden gasoline fee of $75 when we were presented the price (we found out because I had to text and ask why the price was high). Why wasn't this included in the total? Anyway I'm sure it is a great experience and safe and everything, it's just the booking is really sketchy.

Get the dog fighting package. You do that three times, and actually get to fly the plane yourself for 3-5 minutes. It's wild. These planes are capable of 10G, F16s can only do 9G. They were built to simulate experience for fighter pilots. Flying the plane is the best. You will never get a chance to do this anywhere else, since it doesn't exist. The "bombing run" through Red Rock canyon is unreal too. Doesn't seem like these planes should be able to do the things they can do on any axis on the sky. Total paradigm shift in the mind when you are accustomed to driving a car on a flat surface. Tip: I was worried about the motion sickness, but took a couple of Meclizine pills an hour before which I recommend, especially if you are going for the hard core experience. Pilots can sense your limits though and keep things at the intensity level you request.

This experience was unforgettable from start to finish in their 165 acre property. We kicked off the day with a short ride on Jafar, a stunning, gentle giant weighing nearly 3,000 pounds. ( love at first sight) After taking some amazing photos with him, he happily stayed nearby and spent the rest of the day with us. From there, we met several other camels and hopped on the tram, where more adventures were to be had . Along the way, we encountered so many incredible animals, more camels, a zedonk, llamas, alpacas, and miniature horses. One of the highlights was feeding Thorn, their adorable pet porcupine, grapes she was just the sweetest little girl. We also got to see New Guinea singing dogs (so cute!) and Ambien, their 20-year-old sloth, who was just as amazing to see in person as you'd imagine. Feeding the alpacas and llamas carrots was such a fun, hands-on experience. As if that wasn't enough, four friendly Ridgeback dogs casually joined us on the tram, roaming freely and adding even more charm to the day. Every animal we encountered was gentle, well cared for and clearly loved . I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this experience it was pure joy from beginning to end. If you've never met a camel, Ilama, or alpaca, you're missing out. These gentle creatures will absolutely fill your heart. I'm already looking forward to going back again soon. I didn't want the day to end . This is one adventure you don't want to miss it's truly an overload of joy! "LIVE LIFE WITH LOVE & LAUGHTER" ~PEACE JODY~

Guy the owner, an amazing bank of knowledge, he knows so much about each animal and more. He is a little rough around the edges and some may think him rude; you try to manage a 176 acre ranch with well over 60 animals who have to be fed daily, not so easy... The Camels have a diet of lettuce, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples; the sloth has a special diet which includes egg whites, the ranch dogs get the yolk as a daily treat and they know when that's coming. So in addition to taking care of all the animals, the ranch which is 176 acres, there are also tours to manage. So show him a little appreciation for what he does every day, seven days a week, etc... You can do camel rides, an ATV experience, a zoo tour on a tram, it's not easy and I feel for him so if you go out there, understand his personality has to be rough to deal with all this. Also understand, each animal has its own personality and feelings. Yesterday, Norm a camel used for rides was having a bad day. He was not in the mood for riders. I first tried to ride Norm, he was calm getting his saddle on but once I got on him, he was nope. When Allie got me off of Norm, Norm had an attitude with both Allie and Guy, Norm had to be put in a kennel which Norm was not happy about but needed a time out. So remember, dealing with 30 camels, mini horses, a Llama, Alpacas, a sloth, etc; they are dealing with a lot of different personalities and feelings in addition to people coming to visit. Safety is taken as a HIGH priority. These animals can inflict pain & even death, so I have a LOT of respect for Guy & Allie. They not only have to be concerned with adults but children as well. We arrived at 8:45 which is when the gate is opened, we met Allie and Guy along with another couple. We rode first and as I said Norm was not happy so I got off and they took my friend around the track. Upon coming back with my friend, a whole group showed up for the zoo tour so we were asked if we minded doing the zoo tour and then we will get back to the camel ride. No biggie... The zoo tour was amazing. We got on the tram and were taken to see every animal on the property stopping in each area, learning all about the animals in that area with the opportunity to ask questions, got to go in the kennel to feed the Llama and Alpacas, cool animals, petted the zebra, fed and petted the porcupine, got up close and personal with the sloth and just had an amazing experience. The knowledge gained yesterday was so cool. Once the zoo tour was over I got to ride Lodi. The camel ride was really cool, long and a really neat experience I would do again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go out and visit this Camel Safari. They need the support as they have a lot of mouths to feed daily and you will have an amazing experience in the Nevada desert.

There is a roomy indoor waiting area with a variety of seating, including stools with power outlets. The restroom was pretty large and clean, better than the one at the JSX (the semi-private airline) terminal. There is also seating in an outdoor patio with views of the helicopter launch area. Since I booked the earliest of these short tours, the terminal was quiet and check-in was seamless and kind. Every passenger is weighed at check-in to balance the weight on the helicopter. You have the option of requesting a front row seat ($30); you are charged if and when you are upgraded. I unfortunately did not make the cut, but I ended up being very satisfied with my rear window seat behind the pilot. Our copter had 2 seats in front, 4 in the rear. Some of the other copters have 3 front/4 rear seats: I think these are the ones that go to the Grand Canyon. We watched a safety video in the terminal, then boarded a shuttle for the brief ride to the helicopter. A photographer and the pilot accompanied us. Your photo is taken outside the copter before boarding. The seats have noise-cancelling headphones you can wear; they have music playing. The ride was smooth and quick. You basically go north on the east side of the Strip, make a U-turn just north of Downtown, then head south on the west side of the Strip. You can see every hotel on the Strip and Downtown, plus The Sphere, the High Roller Ferris wheel, T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium. Back at the terminal, your photo and a flight certificate are available for purchase. I did give the pilot a gratuity, others on my flight (all were non-American) did not. The company offers a myriad of tours--Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and more. Some of the Strip tours have added perks like a meal or foodie tour; the basic tour I took can include transportation to and from your hotel if you choose. Recommended.

Unfortunately, our experience aligns with several others. Often times, only people frustrated with…read moresomething will bother to write a negative review, but those with a positive (or expected) experience will not write a review. So it always tends to be skewed and you have to take reviews with a grain of salt, so I was hopeful that would be the case for us and we wouldn't experience the problems that others have. Just as several others have mentioned here, our flight was cancelled the day of, after we arrived. We booked SEVEN months in advance, paid in full ~ $1200 for family of four. We arrive 30 minutes prior as instructed. They tell us, sorry, we have mechanical issues, so you are cancelled. They say, we tried to call you (we received no call because, guess what, cell service is not the best around the south rim of the grand canyon...). We said, we have seen at least 4 helicopters flying, how about canceling someone else, how do you select? Did everybody else here book 7+ months ago? Who is prioritized? The reality is they overbooked, and because we paid 7 months previous, we paid less (I looked, their prices went up since we had booked). So I guess we were the easy choice to cancel... They offered to rebook the next day, yet they know that nearly nobody can accomodate this, so it is a hollow offer where they know they can "do their part to try to rectify", but also know that nearly everybody would then just cancel, and the problem takes care of itself. Great business model... Everybody that is going to book a helicopter trip over the grand canyon is there on vacation, and nobody is staying anywhere near grand canyon village or the location of this airport. It is an hour drive just from Williams and the main road, one way. Anyone who books this is driving in from Sedona or Vegas or Phoenix for a half/one day trip, and vacation days/time is precious. Its not as though you can just go do something else nearby and wait until the next day... We had one window of time planned, and the time of this flight was it. I suppose that is why they do not really care about customer service, or screwing someone last minute. Its not like they are planning for repeat customers really... Kids were beyond disappointed. The build-up and excitement, only to be completely let down last minute. They cried as we were walking out and leaving because the talk of the helicopter ride was happening for months prior. And now to the refund. The girl at the counter said the refund would take 7-10 days. Ok, thats typical, whatever. 12 days goes by, no refund. E-mail and call. They respond and say that, because its been more then 6 months, we cannot refund back to your card. We can either ACH (and attached a form) or send a check. I respond to tell then to send a check. Who in their right mind is going to provide their bank account number and routing number into a microsoft word file and e-mail it back? Fast forward ~ 21 days. Still no check. So send another e-mail (haven't called yet because that is a whole other experience...). I receive and e-mail back, not a response to my e-mail, but a carbon copy of the first one sent 9 days prior saying I can use ACH or check. Um, huh? So here we are now, still no refund. Fortunately, since we were heading to Vegas that day (was supposed to be right after our helicopter flight), we booked with Maverick for a helicopter flight over Las Vegas the next day. $450 for family of four, and the experience was excellent all around. I'd recommend Maverick, and avoid this company.
