I currently play in a golf league here and it is very well-run compared to other leagues I have played in. The manager of the league does a great job communicating and the staff is great. The course itself is challenging, with some impossible greens. However, it's still golf, and it's hard to complain about that. The front 9 is significantly more difficult than the back, with many creeks in challenging locations and a green that's atop a huge hill. The course definitely could use some work and needs some TLC, but I think they're committing to mkaing improvements. I could see this course being in great shape in a couple of years.

Walked in And went to check in rude man who looked like he peaked in high school with a Titleist visor on who decently needed to be raked down a peg Screamed across the clubhouse how old are you? I replied 16. He then said let me see your license. I offered to show him a picture while I was talking he interrupted and said I don't wanna see that and he got aggressive and said I don't if you don't have a license you're not playing and it was very rude about it not to mention he was screaming at a couple of minors. Startled because I just got verbally harassed after paying 35 dollars for 9 holes of mediocre golf just to get yelled at. Side note I've gotten a cart at least 10 times from this place and the one time I was denied ranger let me have one anyway I booked the tee time online and since I was made to walk I asked for the cart fee back to which I was denied because "it was through a third party service" I asked how to get my money back. He said I could not disappointing most staff here are nice especially the older men and younger women I know from experience but one bad apple ruined this corse for me I advise you do not come here

This is a great place to swing a golf club in a Michigan winter…read more The prices are quite reasonable (given what must be the costs of inflating, powering, and heating an air-supported dome for a season.) The prices are shown on their website and include "senior discounts." This is also the reason (I am sure) that it is a very busy place on a weekday morning. Great staff and location next to a restaurant and a seasonable carnival-like facility that includes mini-golf. Lastly, I believe that the dome is deflated in the warmer months and the tee lines become part of the remaining driving range. (Check out satellite photos on Google earth or maps to see what I mean) My only non-positive comment is that the artificial turf putting "green" in the dome interior has some weird slopes that one would never find on an actual putting green. I found it to make for a difficult and productive practice session with my putter. And, although the place is equipped with the Top-Tracer computer simulation system, I am not sure if it is exactly accurate given the probable issue of being in the interior dome. BUT - it was worth the 1-hour and 45-minute drive for me to go over for the morning given the snow on the ground outside!! Heh, I am retired! What else do I have to do?!?!? *laughter*

Its an ideal destination for an extended stay. As a former seminary built in the 1940's, the architectural flourishes are second to none. Design aficionados will be in aesthetic heaven. There are three restaurants on site - an Irish Pub, a wine Bar, and a Steakhouse with a bar and breakfast service. The wine bar is definitely worth a visit, whereas I recommend the other two options primarily for their convenience. Service is exceptional and the beds are firm but very comfortable, nonetheless. The in-room TV supports casting TV & movie apps - Netflix, Hulu, etc. - but not music apps, for some reason. Fortunately we brought a WiFi speaker. A few notes on accessibility follow. For context, I can walk with crutches but need to use a wheelchair for long distances. And this hotel is all about long distances. We had an accessible king room, and while the lanes for navigating a wheelchair around the bed are tight, they are manageable. The bed is super comfortable but also very TALL. It could be tricky to transfer to the bed from a wheelchair without assistance of crutches. There is plenty of space in the bathroom and the roll in-shower has a good set up with an accessible shelf for shampoo, etc. Be careful with the bathroom door - it is a very heavy sliding door with a strange locking mechanism. The public spaces in the hotel, including the restrooms, are generally modern and accessible. I also noticed that the pool has a swing chair for water access. One exception is the Irish Pub, which treated accessibility as an afterthought when it was designed. There is no wheelchair access within the hotel - you'll want to drive around to the back to use its parking lot. Additionally, to get to the restroom or the second floor of the pub you'll need to use one of smallest prefab dumb waiters I've ever been in. Finally, be advised that the entrance to the hotel is at the top of a steep hill, and the porte-cochère landing itself is at a slant. Be agile with your brakes, and let your companion park the car after you've exited if you can. Also note that there are only 4 designated accessible parking spaces. We've seen them all full on multiple occasions; for a parking lot of its size, the hotel should probably add about 4 more.

John (owner) and Chef Mike always do a great job for us. The Friday fish fry's are great too. Good food. Good people. As for the golf, I love this course. Why? Character. The front nine plays different from the back nine. The front is more wooded. The back plays a little longer with water in play. The greens roll good and true. But I really like the course because, if you are on your game, you can score here. There are numerous shorter holes that accommodate scoring (1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10 & 15) with a well placed, well struck drive. #3 gives a real "up north" feel as you stare down the fairway from the tee. #4 echos that feel. There is a risk reward on #5 if you try to cut the treeline angle, similar situation on #7. #8 and #9 are eagle holes if your drive is golden. #12 is tight and usually plays into the wind. No sense gambling here, play for par or no worse than bogey. #13 forces you to leave the driver in the bag. #14 let's you air it out and still leaves a good length approach. #15 is a hoot for the cut shot (from the back tees) or just cutting the corner (from the white tees). #17 is the signature hole, a peninsula par three from a slightly elevated tee. #18 is a good closing hole where pars and birdies fly and the occasional eagle is available. Plays slow on occasion and I wish there were more (or better) deals but it is not outrageous and you can get some pretty fair prices from their e-club. Keeps me coming back year after year for about two decades now.

ooooooooooooooooooooo stars …read more Title: Unbelievably Horrible Service - Worst Experience EVER! My family is mixed and felt the racism from Anna the front desk and Stevie the manager. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This is the absolute worst location in this company I've ever dealt with, and it's filled with horrible, disrespectful people. The staff can't get anything right, and they treat you like absolute garbage. The level of customer service here is appalling, and it's beyond me how this place is still in business after they treat s mixed family. When Linda Brooks ran the Troy location or Jason Bird managed it, things were a million times better. Now? A total disaster. Stevie, the so-called manager, is hands down the worst customer service "professional" I've ever encountered. She wouldn't even try to fix the issues at all, was like it is what it is,and her energy is totally I hate being here attitude. I've been a loyal customer since the Minneapolis location opened, even worked at the Troy location when it first launched, and have visited the Las Vegas location multiple times when in town. But this? This is a new low. I walked in today, thinking I had a family membership, and was greeted by Anna, who clearly had no clue what she was doing. She looked overwhelmed and like she couldn't care less. It's FATHER'S DAY, for crying out loud, and I was told I wasn't allowed entry unless I paid an additional $60 for my wife and son. We had just driven 54 minutes to get here, and now I'm being charged for MY OWN MEMBERSHIP and family. How is that even a thing?! What happens to caring about the customers. But that's not even the worst of it. The dry heat sauna was broken last week, then the power went out, then they closed for another outage the week before that. And now, after all that, they're charging me another $60? For what? Because of their incompetence and caring about the customers. Stevie was rude from the jump, disrespectful, and had the worst dry attitude imaginable, treating me like I was some inconvenience to her. After that, she just sat in the back office, not doing a single thing to help. Not once did anyone offer a solution or show any sense of care or respect for my situation. Honestly, it was like I was invisible. At this point, I'm seriously considering canceling my membership because this company clearly doesn't care about its members or guests which you can see with the 3 star reviews. Without us, you have no business, no revenue, and no reason to exist. So why on earth would you treat your paying customers like this? The lack of respect is beyond infuriating. If I could rate this place NEGATIVE INFINITY, I would. And you better believe I'm going to put this all over my social media. I have millions + of followers, and I will make sure everyone knows how NOT to treat their customers. I'm done. DO NOT RECOMMEND--I'm about to cancel my membership, and I suggest you do the same if you value your time, money, or dignity. I'm so mad left a voicemail for lawyer !! Racism and Discrimination is some something real and very bad here. #HorribleService #WorstExperience #CustomerNoService #Unbelievable #CancelingMyMembership #NeverComingBack
