I've been here several times found them on Groupon but now they will charge you a Groupon rate if you just mention it (saves you a few bucks). Definitely add on the hot stones. Was recommended to try this place out and with their Groupon offer, it was only $120 for my husband and I...WHAT?! We had to try it out. The offer included a 60 minute couple massage, hot stones and a 30 minute sauna session. We walked in, were welcomed kindly and the associate provided us a clipboard with a body diagram to circle areas to focus on/avoid. I actually really appreciate the diagrams so that your massage therapist knows exactly what you want at a quick glance. We started off with a 30 minute sauna session and were given fresh towels and water bottles. The sauna room is small but was very clean. The two things I would add to this experience would be dimmed lights and some soft music. The bright lights really took away from fully being able to relax. Post sauna, he led us to our private shower/bathroom. The shower was amazing but we were almost intimidated by it. There were so many knobs and shower heads, we didn't know how to turn it on or how to make the water hot. We spent a solid 5 minutes giggling like little kids and then FINALLY figured it out! Knew those college degrees were good for something ;) Massage time! We were led to our room and the only light in the massage room was candlelight. I absolutely loved the aroma and found it so relaxing. My massage therapist constantly checked with me if the pressure was okay and did an excellent job focusing on the areas I circled. My favorite part was the hot stones. My back and shoulder blades were really tight, probably a combo of stress and working out but the hot stones were an amazing addition to the massage. The massage was okay, I was having a pretty decent experience. That is until the end that left me with a bad taste. The masseuse lady was upset that I tipped her 18%. She's asked me "that's it?" Ungrateful. Even before the massage, when I called to scheduled she made sure to clarify to bring extra money to tip her about 3x before we disconnected the call. Me and my fiancé decided to try this place out for Valentine's Day, so we booked a 60 minute couples massage. As soon as we arrived they handed us this form to fill out. What I really liked was that you could circle areas that you wanted them to focus on and cross out areas you don't want them to touch. We started the massage by going into the sauna for 15 mins. The only reason I give this place 4 stars is because on our way to the sauna, a little kid was giving us instructions on what to do and where to go. It's definitely a family run store and the kid was super cute, but her directions were confusing and we didn't know how long we were supposed to be jn the sauna or where to go afterwards. There was a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff so the kid was helping to translate. The actual massage itself was very nice. They worked out all your knots and even cracked my back which felt AMAZING. It was also very clean and hygienic. And if you haven't tried the hot stones with your massage then you are not living your full life. read more

However, when I mentioned having a Groupon, the gentlemen immediately stated, "we cannot take your Groupon on special days, only M-Th." Apparently, Sat and Sun are considered "special" days. I have been a client of Amy's for years! She is the absolute best. Take it from someone who has gotten massages all over the country from dozens of different massage therapists. No one makes me feel better like Amy. She is the owner/operator of this spa, and a true healer. I don't ever need to tell her where to spend extra time, she just knows. I like a lot of pressure, but she always checks in to make sure it's just right. I am so fiercely loyal to her, that I make the ridiculous commute from Chicago. Why do you ask? Because, no one, LITERALLY NO ONE in the city is as good as her. Beyond her exceptional services (it's a full spa, nails, manis, pedis, sauna, the works) the facility is super clean and decorated beautifully. I had a 60 min deep tissue massage by Chen. He knows how to maneuver and massage out all that stuck energy and knots. The massage is a steal for the reasonable prices they offer. You are fully undressed for this massage, unlike a lot of the foot spas in the area that massage over your clothes. Great sauna room you can use with your massage. I turned off the light while in the sauna, would only recommend a dimmer or salt lamp to soothe the lighting in that room. I went here last Sunday for a Spa Pedicure and a 30min foot massage it was WONDERFUL! The spa is so clean quiet and peaceful. The owner was so so nice and the Therapist that worked on me was AWESOME. The spa pedi consisted of a soak, scrub, foot and leg massage with hot towels and hot stones and ended with polish. The door massage was so relaxing lotion and massaging my feet and legs. I feel conflicted leaving such a poor review for a family run business. We went for a couples massage, two massage therapists, two beds, 60 min. It's hard to imagine leaving a massage feeling stressed, but both of us were incredibly happy to get off the table and leave when it was over. The environment was great. Clean, organized. An adorable toddler singing to themselves in the waiting room. The massage itself was miserable. The massage therapist was equally likely to go after my bones as muscles in a way that hinted this person was not professionally trained. It was so unusual that I wondered to myself if this was some different massage style I'd never experienced that would be wonderful at the end - it wasn't. It was like getting a massage from someone who learned from a wiki-how post and was rushing to get through all the steps. There were points when she tried to play chiropractor and contort my body where I was legitimately concerned that I would be hurt and had to push back or ask to stop. I'm not describing too much pressure. I'm talking arm bars and other joint torsions. Prices were fine. Stone treatment was a nice touch, but I would have preferred they had the basics down. Like other reviews they asked us to circle areas of focus on a piece of paper, but they didn't follow them. I went in after not being able to turn my neck for the past four days, and she got out all the kinks there plus everywhere else that I didn't even realize was tight. They are listed as a provider through Class Pass. I explained to them how ClassPass works on my end , so the credits for the service had been taken from my account already . So, is it normal that you hang up on your customers. I see what people are talking about when they dont get the same service as a cash paying customer through the company and not third party. This company not only required personal info that i shouldn't have had to provide until arriving, over the phone. Then after the back and forth with them saying they had to do it that way, it did not say that in my description so she was never able to refer me back to a policy. Then when i try and cancel due to personal unforeseen circumstances, she then follows a policy that allows her to redeem my voucher without service. So on one hand she doesnt have a policy and then on the other hand she has one when it means to take your money and give no service. I am totally discussed by their customer service. After explaining the issue with the policy, she hangs up in my face. So i guess the truth hurt.......they are out just taking people's money and not providing service.
