Never in my years of going to a WSS was I asked to show proof of I.D to use MY points. Why offer to use my points then tell me I need to show proof of I.d. Service from Anna (23227) as shown on receipt , was an unpleasant misfortune. How can I not use my points but still my membership is shown on my receipt . So I earned more points for this purchase but could not use my points. Make it make sense Anna. Use your brain. Will not be returning to that location. WSS is my favorite shoe store! I've been going to all WSS for years. It's my go to place because they're convenient and prices are fair. This wss was clean. Outside and in. Parking was easy and the lot was well lit. Now selection isn't always the best. That's why my kids dont like coming here anymore. I keep coming here because it's simple. It's not about what you wear but how you wear it! I buy all classics. I buy my running shoes here too. I even buy apparel/clothes because I find stuff here I can't find anywhere else. They used to send coupons in the mail. I miss those! They had me coming 2x a month or more. Plus my points add up so it keeps me coming back. Now service. I've never, ever had a bad experience at any wss. At this location (and all) the employees are helpful, they greet me as I walk in, ask if I need help and since I can pick my own shoe size, color and style, it's always a smooth experience. I went to the store with my father on 12/09 when we entered only one person greeted us which was a guy manager very nice was trying to help us when the other manager maria came in very rude not helpful at all. I went in same day with my receipt to exchange shoes I had bought. After looking around I didn't like any of the shoes and decided to just get a refund since the shoes had not been worn. "Maria" said she could not accept the shoes back and was being "nice" in allowing me to exchange the shoes. It's so idiotic that she thinks she makes the return policy when it's clearly stated on the receipt that I can receive a refund. Terrible customer service !! I bought a pair of air max shoes.. (These shoes aren't cheap) I wore them for 3 hours and they began to squeak extremely loud. I called the store and asked to return them and I was told to bring them in for a return dice they are a defected pair of shoes. When I arrive they ask me who I spoke to and I told them. Which was Daryl, Daryl spoke to his supervisor Crystal, and Crystal said to bring them in. So I did! When I arrive she slowly walks to the front and looks at the shoes and says No returns! I told her and showed her that they were defected and she showed me their policy that says they cannot be returned unless they are in original form. So I ask her how was I suppose to know they were defected without wearing them. And she shrugged her shoulders. I been shopping here for years (before they moved to this location) and never had a problem, never returned anything. This was by far the worst experience I've had as a customer. This store is a complete rip off! Crystal should be demoted because the way she handled my experience made me feel violated as a customer! I was so upset at this experience! I'm lost for words. 3:53pm Thursday February 24, 2017 Store appearance: clean over all l... okay selection Staff: when entering the store you are greeted by a tall husky Hispanic Male with glasses, bald head with mustache mid late 20s early 30s in a blue security guard uniform (flash light) and a short Hispanic male, bald head, stubble on his face, with WSS uniform on. The two men were laughing and speaking in Spanish. The two men watch as I walk into the store until I went into the aisle, then magically the WSS worker appeared in the same aisle as me and he had shoes in his hand pretending to do "go backs". He was there approximately 7-8 mins. Never once did he grab another shoe or put the shoe back. So since he wanted to watch me I needed assistance anyways so I asked him to help me. He was very excitied to assist me on my shoe journey. *FUN FACT: ONCE HE NOTICED I HAD A SHOE AND APPEARED TO WALK TO THE FRONT OF THE STORE HE WALKED BACK TO THE FRONT DESK WITH THE SECURITY. So to toy with them I went back down another aisle. And back he went to the aisle with the same pair of shoes. After I was completely done noticing them watching me I purchased the shoes I went to by for my kid and left. I have never shopped at WSS and this was my first experience. I have already wrote a email to the corporate office about this interesting experience. I also informed my colleagues about this dissatisfaction with such a low brow store. I usually shop at high end stores and even reputable and established stores. read more

I don't really want to give them any star customers service is very bad . Jessica was very rude when I ask for corporate numbers. Jessica never provided me the number and the Manuel was very rude and told me the corporate number was on the company bag. Remind you when I walked in the store to do my exchange I had a different company bag. Manuel ask was I doing exchange he asked for my shoes and the way he look at my shoes that was purchased two days go at a different location. Manuel look at my return shoes like he was dissecting the shoes and my receipt. I felt like it was a racist issue. I shop at this company many of times and never once had security ask for my receipt. This is very unprofessional at this location and I was very offended with the process on how my information and product was beening handle. I return my new shoes that i puchased at the parmount location back to them and told them to give me my other shoes back. I left and me and my young girls went to another location in long beach and did my exchange over there. My experience was very different and pleasant. The security guard was very professional when reviewing my exchange item. And the long beach location on cherry was very nice friendly and very professional. I spent almost 400 dollars on shoes for my family 10/9/2016 at the location on cherry.
