I have been in here before around Christmas time to buy sheets (800 thread count queen set for $48) and a few times later to get odds and ends for my kitchen and those experiences were similar. For home goods, they have paper rulers around the store which is so smart. This Home Goods is also ALWAYS clean and organized. Something I cannot say for the Castleton location. Additionally the associates are fantastic. We needed help getting the mirror to the register. The manager (Julie) had an associate get a mirror cart. That associate (Kate maybe?) placed it on the cart and wheeled it to the register. And then because a line had formed, hopped on the register. She even helped us get it into the car. And when we weren't 100% sure if it would fit, Julie came out to help us. Above and beyond. Thanks so much! The mirror looks great and a bargain for $80.

For starters, Persimmon Avenue has great curb appeal and a charming window display. I'm a sucker for a strong window display. We were especially intrigued by the interior lighting section in the back and found a light we've been eyeing online for $75 less than Wayfair (heyo!). Overall, a very charming shop with great inventory. Easy and free parking found on the street out front. Note to self: this shop is especially cute during the holidays!

During my visit, there were some teenage delinquents in the store goofing off and a store associate or manager began yelling for them to stop and leave. I'm not sure what the best manner to handle this situation would've been, but I didn't feel like yelling from a great distance was it. This combined with the extremely long wait at checkout (when there was only one other customer ahead of us and multiple associates standing around doing seemingly nothing) was quite off-putting.
