Bill Mason is quick to respond to you and will give you an honest assessment of your problem with your appliance. He has solutions that have helped me keep, my cloths washer for example, going for longer. He tries to fix before suggesting replacement. Great service. read more

Used Yelp to find them and sent a message. They got back to me shortly after the message and was able to fit me in within 24hrs. Super friendly and great service! Will definitely call again if I ever have the need. read more

Bill has fixed everything I've had him look at over the years and he is also honest when an appliance needs to be replaced. Highly recommend! read more

You might have to play phone tag a few times to make an appointment but Bill was on time, fairly priced, and did good work. Would definitely use again! read more

Pros and Cons! We had used Bill before and had been satisfied with his work. When our washer stopped spinning I had no hesitation calling him to come take a look. I keep his magnet on my washer, so I had quick access to his number. I got his voicemail and left a detailed message. I never heard back. After a week of not having use of our washer and not hearing back from Bill, and putting out a request on Next Door for washer repair recommendations, I decided to try WRM once more. This time I left a short terse message. Later that day I got a call from Bill. He apologized and said his voicemail had been giving him trouble and he was worried that he would be losing business because he was not actually getting messages. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt and we scheduled an appt. He is very personable as has been stated in other reviews. He told me how much it would cost, but did not say it was not worth repairing. So I paid the high price which was much less than having to buy a new washer. AFTER the repair was done he said the repair would last anywhere from 3 months to 3 years. Well if he had said this repair may only last 3 months in the first place, I would have opted to weigh my options of just buying new instead of investing in a pricey repair. To his credit, he said the next time it stops working don't even bother calling him, just buy a new one. I had left him alone to do his work in the laundry room. He came up when the work was done, showed me the bad part, left it for me in fact, I paid him and he left. Then I went down to the laundry room. YIKES!! What a mess!!! He made a huge mess and cleaned nothing up. Unacceptable in my opinion. Any repairman, handyman, etc that you let into your house to do work should clean up after themselves. Even people doing yard work outside I would expect to clean up after themselves. So I have very mixed feelings about WRM. He does good work. He's very messy. Prices seem high, but nothing current to compare it to. Should have questioned the worth of repair in the first place. Did tell me not to call him next time. So a solid 3 stars. read more

We needed our refrigerator serviced and got referred to them by several people in our area that had had wonderful service with them. My call was immediately answered by a friendly and professional technician. Even though my refrigerator model could not be serviced by them, he was very knowledgeable about the model and potential issues and explained them very patiently to me. He also referred me to a local technician who could help me, taking the time to google his number and give it to me over the phone. I then had a question about a convection oven that I just bought, and once again, he took the time to explain what needed to be done. I felt he went above and beyond in the time he offered me on the call and we will definitely make WRM our first call in the future should we need service on any of our home appliances. read more

Amazing! Our washer was having issues and needed service. Bill was very responsive, on time and did a great job getting our washer up an running. He explained what was happening and what he did to fix it. Then gave us recommendations on how to keep this from happening in the future. I will only be call WRM from now on. B. McMahon read more

Could not be happier with our experience. After our dryer started making a dreadful noise, we started researching local appliance repairmen. Few - if any - were rated as highly as WRM. I called, left a message, and Bill called me back within two hours. He was able to schedule me for the next day and arrived exactly when expected. I ran the dryer for him and he told me it was one of two things, quoted me prices on each potentiality. It turned out to be the cheaper thing and, within 90mns, the dryer was fixed and ready to go. Bill was responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and fair. I got a great repair at a solid, honest price. I will be calling him for all my future appliance repair needs. read more

Last week my oven stopped working and within 48 hours, I was back in business! I reached out to WRM Home Appliance and within one hour, Bill returned my phone call. After speaking with him, I instantly knew I made the right decision to have Bill check out my oven. Bill is professional (arrived on time), extremely knowledgable in explaining what was wrong with my oven and friendly! He was able to repair my oven, and so far, it's been working great! You will not be disappointed in using WRM Home Appliance! read more

I could not be more happy with my service from WRM Home Appliance and Repair. I had called two days before the 4th of July, when my fridge just stopped cooling and freezing. I made an appointment on the 5th and Bill was prompt with in the time window I had been given. He was friendly and knowledgable and was happy to show me what he was doing while trying o fix my fridge. He managed to give me another 5-6 years on my fridge by replacing the compressor and motherboard. Very reasonable pricing and top notch service! WRM is in my contacts as my go to folks for any appliance repair I may have in the future. read more

Okay - so a bit of an odd review but wanted to drop my two cents here. Our LG Dishwasher stopped working and I reached out to WRM for a quote and when he called me back informed me he doesn't work on LG *dishwashers* (but he did say he potentially works on other LG appliances - except also no refrigerators). As he was the second appliance repair company to tell me that I asked out of frustration what the reasoning was and he took took time out of his day to explain to me why not, what could be going on, and gave advice on what we could do about our dishwasher situation. So while I cannot speak to cost, speed, etc, I can say that Bill is kind enough to give advice to someone who currently has dishes strewing her countertops due to a broken LG dishwasher, LOL. read more

Bill provided us with excellent and timely service for a washing machine repair. He took the time to explain the broken part, the process for repair, the timeline for ordering and installing a new part, and how best to quickly clean up the resultant leak. He also communicated with us frequently to provide helpful updates. His expertise and time were much appreciated! read more

These guys are tops. Got a good feeling on the phone w/the receptionist, who gave me ballpark ideas of what my problems could be (had a problem w/icemaker and dryer). Called on thursday or friday, got an appt for tuesday. They came on time, and the guy that came was actually the owner, Bill. Super personable and charmed my guard dog in 5 seconds. The service call charge was quite reasonable, $55 to look at both appliances. Answers were straight and honest. They have a customer for life. read more

I couldn't be happier with the service of WRM Home Appliance & Repair. When our dryer broke, I searched out a repair company on Yelp and Angie's List. WRM had great reviews on both sites, so I contacted them through their website. The following day I was contacted by the owner, Bill Mason, who gave me a day and three hour window. On that day, he called me as he was leaving his previous job to let me know exactly when he would be arriving. He diagnosed the problem right away, had the part in his pocket, and the dryer was fixed very quickly. Bill is very personable, and I found his prices to be very reasonable. He also honored a 10% off coupon from Angie's List. He's now my go to guy for any appliance issues I may have in the future, and I can recommend him without reservation. read more

Came out when scheduled, and they accommodates my schedule changes without hesitation. Had a microwave that was not working. Recommended to change outlet, I did and started working. Dryer has noise, not with repairing. Honest, professional and just good service. read more

I was having an issue with my dishwasher -- reached out through Yelp and Bill got back to me quickly, got a quote and scheduled me within a couple of days. He showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, made the fix and was done within a half hour or so. Total cost made sense based on what we discussed over Yelp messages. I definitely find it bizarre that there were three one-star reviews within the past week or so, especially regarding his "attitude" because Bill was super nice and personable to me and even though my job was a quick fix, I could tell he was knowledgable and professional. Unlike other contractors I've worked with he never actually asked me to leave him a positive review -- I just felt like I should do this because the other recent reviews are incredibly weird, and the reality of my situation was that Bill was prompt, professional, personally a nice guy, and I wouldn't hesitate to call him up if I needed help again! read more

Great experience!! Bill is fantastic!! I highly recommend him for your appliance repair. My fridge was done, but advised me to get another fridge and not do the repairs. Honest man. read more

Tried to contact this company 5 times (email, phone and yelp quote) and got no response. Editing my original review to reply to the comment: My husband reached out on Yelp twice (not me) and I called twice, and left a voicemail and I emailed. read more

WRM responded quickly to my inquiry through Yelp even though it was a holiday weekend. We scheduled an appointment for the next day (Tuesday) and WRM himself arrived on time and quickly fixed the problem with our dishwasher. He answered questions and told us how to prevent the problem from reoccurring. I would definitely call him if I have any other home appliance problem. Simply a great experience! read more

I wish i could give 2 five star reviews to balance out some of this absurd negative press. He has fixed my fridge twice now ( i would not give 5 stars for that lemon). He did great work didn't try to upsell. Je was super friendly chipper both times so I am very perplexed by review saying he was surly. Hes just one of those super happy types. Anyway. I highly recommend. read more

Quick response. Professional and polite service along with fair pricing. I would definitely use WRM again.

This guy has one of the worst attitudes I have ever seen from a service professional. After one voicemail and one phone call, it was clear to me this was not someone I would ever want to give my business to, much less have in my home. He was incredibly rude and had a huge chip on his shoulder because I dared to ask for an appointment the next day (not knowing his schedule or thinking he may have a cancellation by chance). I only asked because I had just found out my husband would be off of work, and I certainly didn't demand an appointment. Trust me, I was not rude in the least to him, and I was shocked at how nasty he was to me. Needless to say, I did not do business with him, so this review is based on his lack of customer friendliness and understanding. read more

Bill was great to fix our broken ice maker. The Sears repairmen quoted more and suggested it might be a wash/ just better to buy a whole new refrigerator! Once we played phone tag a few times and finally were able to set up an appointment, Bill was on time and able to give his honest opinion of what it might end up costing and what he thought the problem was. We found him to be both professional and down to Earth -- it was clear he wouldn't have wasted his time either if he had believed it was beyond repair and I needed a new fridge. He got it working and making ice again and we'd definitely use his services again. read more

Exceptional service!!! Anything else breaks or if I hear of a friend with appliance issues, I guarantee that WRM is getting the call. Called back promptly, showed up on time, diagnosed the refrigerator issue quickly, ordered the part and I was back in business within the day. All for a very fair & reasonable price. Bill strikes me as being as honest and straightforward as they come. I'm completely confident that he's quoting the best cost to fix the problem and that it'll be done right. Extremely personable guy; like the next door neighbor you'd love to have. I just can't say enough good things about WRM....and I'm typically a very negative person by nature. read more

We arranged with Bill to come look at a dryer two weeks in advance. He showed up right on time and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He tracked down the issue and then gave us the bad news - it was a control board issue that would cost $375 to replace. With the cost of new dryers he suggested we just get a new one. He was very apologetic but it wasn't his issue - it was a dryer that was in the condo we bought and we knew it wasn't running. I would highly recommend Bill and will call him if we have other issues - pleasant, knowledgeable and solid integrity read more

Called to schedule a repair for our dishwasher and spoke to Bill on the phone. He was able to give me a quick explanation for how I could take care of the issue myself. Speaks volumes for the honesty of their business. Thanks! read more

Had our dryer go out with a newborn at home and called Warranty Service(HMS) on a Friday. They scheduled us on the following Monday which happened to be President's Day. The owner Mr. Mason came out(on time!!) and was incredibly pleasant and got the service done in a matter of a few minutes with a part replacement. In addition, he took the time to tell me how to maintain several other appliances better and some suggestions on an install of a cooktop that I was looking to install. Highly recommend giving them a try! read more

Again WRM has come to the rescue. This time my dryer wouldn't turn on. Bill fixed the fuse and changed the exhaust tubing thing and that was that. It was a busy week for me so i did not try to get a same- or next-day appointment, but he still fit me in on the first day that worked with my schedule and that was awesome. So nice and helfpul. Gives your appliances new life. He will always be my first call for appliance issues. read more

the worst service ever. needed a dishwasher installed. we had tile floors. thats an issue. maybe if that was a deal breaker he should have asked when scheduling the appointment. dishwasher wont drain(hints the need to replace it) thats an issue. if it would drain we wouldnt need a new dishwasher!!! he just didnt have time for his 'job' today. his words, not mine. dont call this place if you expect the job to get done read more

I'm a little late in adding my review. We had a flood in our house, and I needed to have several appliances inspected for water damage. Bill was great -- he scheduled us promptly, showed up on time, and took his time explaining everything he checked during the diagnostic exam. (And he was very understanding when I called him because I was confused about our appointment time!) Wouldn't hesitate to use WRM in the future for any appliance needs. Thanks, Bill! read more

I cannot recommend Bill enough. Quick, honest, and just a fine human being. I started a small fire on my cook top, Bill was very responsive to my problem and came out at my convenience to fix the issue. At no time did I feel like he was being anything other than 100% honest. I was expecting the cost for his time, labor and parts to be double what I paid. I will keep WRM on speed dial for all of my repair needs. Highly recommend. read more

This company has delighted me twice. I didn't truly realize how much until I had an experience with another company that was horrible. Both times I have had to use them, I called in through my HMS warranty, they got in touch with me almost immediately and came out next day. Polite and professional! My son had the flu and WRM knew that a broken washing machine in this case was an emergency while their compeitiors did not. Thank you WRM, for saving the day! read more

I had a great experience with WRM today. Bill fixed my dryer and the cost was very reasonable. He is also a very friendly person to talk to! I selected him because of the ratings and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend WRM to fix your appliances! read more

Amazingly responsive and they do top quality work. They are now on our speed dial for all of our appliances.

After contacting a couple of seriously fly by night companies I found on Craig's List, and being cursed out by one jerk who gave me an approximate time and then made me wait for 4 1/2 hours, I called WRM. Later in the same day, Bill was at my door petting my cat all friendly and professional. He diagnosed an issue with my stove and my dryer in less than 10 minutes and fixed both. He then found why my dishwasher wasn't filling. Turns out the drain hose was broken and the previous tenant had just turned off everything. Now Bill is a professional appliance repair man not a plumber but Bill is a good guy and will do a little extra to help his clients. Bill drove to Home Depot, got the proper hose, came back, installed the hose like the pro he is and all is well with my appliances. Bill, thank you! You can find cheaper appliance techs who may or may not show up or you can use WRM. I recommend paying a little bit more, and it was still reasonable, for a pro like Bill. read more

Bill was perfect and exactly what I needed. He called back within 2 hours and listened to me patiently as I described what I thought was the trouble switch for my refrigerator. After describing he saved me money by not coming out but agreeing it probably is the problem. He ordered the part and came out a the following week and fixed it quickly. On time and on budget for the estimate he gave me. He even found another problem related and fixed that. I would highly recommended. read more

This is the third time we have called on this business or repair an appliance, this time our dishwasher.
