So the first hot muggy day in May, my downstairs AC stops working. We contacted our home warranty service and their preferred provider for our AC repair was Capital Appliance. I requested the service at the end of the day Wednesday and someone was able to come out midday Friday.
The technician that came out was prompt and professional. He inspected the AC units and determined the problem was a defective control board. While he did not have the part on hand, he promised to check stock in a parts store in Sterling and come back over the weekend to complete the repair.
Imagine my surprise when he called on Sunday and asked if he could come out and replace the control board that day. He also replaced about 1 pound of Freon in the outside unit to ensure proper cooling. He made sure the unit was running and cooling appropriately before leaving our home. The AC is working just fine now and all it cost me was the price of the deductible.
I was very impressed with our technician's attitude and willingness to do the work on a Sunday. I am completely satisfied with the repair of the AC. I highly recommend Capital Appliance if you experience issues with your AC unit this summer. read more
