I buy all my appliances here. They will match or beat anyone's price and their delivery is always great and fast.

We were in the market for a new microwave and dishwasher and went to the big box store and they didn't have anything.

Seriously - I never thought I'd find myself writing a review for a vacuum store. But here I am…read more I don't think people understand the joy that comes with owning a vacuum cleaner that sucks everything up - all the time - year after year. I knew that feeling when my roommate bought a high end vacuum (a Miele...spelling?) a few years ago from Ace Vacuum. Fast forward a few years - and the crumbs are still on my carpet after the 3rd time vacuuming this week. Yep - that's a sign that its time to get a new vacuum. Bought - where to get one - should I run to Best Buy and decide between an 80 dollar vacuum that starts breaking in your hand or a 600 dollar dyson v7 whose battery lasts about 12.25 mins. A quick call to my SiL (sister in law...aka...my old roomie) and I'm on the phone with Ace Vacuum. Chris was great - he asked me questions to help triangulate what I should buy (how big is your place, how often do you vacuum, floor / carpet / throw rugs / dogs / etc.) and my price range. When I got there - he started off with a sweet vacuum. He did tell me it was a bit higher than I wanted to spend....but damn it was slick. It was all black, sleek, had a red light that told me how full the bag was. 1/2 way through his song and dance - I was already having day dreams about all the adventures I'd have fighting crime with my sleek black vacuum that reminded me of Kit (reference to Knight Rider) but alas it was not to be. After stepping out of my day dream - and talking to Chris some more - we ended up on a vacuum that was actually at the bottom of my range. It did everything that I wanted without any crazy bells and whistles. Chris didn't try to up sell me - he got me over the hump and I walked out of there with a new vacuum cleaner about 30 mins after I walked in. Heading out to Ace in Leesburg was well worth the 38 min trip from home. Thanks Ace and Chris

Don't expect to get your vacuum fixed in a timely manner or get a notification as to the problem. I…read morehad to call the Leesburg location to find out what was wrong after they had my vacuum, they lied they left a message but that due to no notification the vacuum would be moved to the front and that it would be done by Wednesday. That was a Monday I spoke with a person, no call Wednesday saying they were delayed or had a problem. Call them on a Friday and nobody's available to fix it and it will be 2 more days maybe or I can pick it up if not done. NOT A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE Practice. This not the first time I had vacuums service but it will be the last!!!

A few weeks ago, I noticed my brand new LG dryer had started making a grinding noise whenever we…read morewould run it. I reached out to LG customer service to request a repair and they outsourced the job to this local repair shop. The technician showed up at 6 pm (outside of the designated repair window), spent 60 seconds looking at the dryer, and was unable to recreate the issue in real time. Which is fine, the sound is intermittent and that is no fault of his own. However, I took a video of my dryer several days prior and when I showed him the footage, he openly agreed that the sound was atypical. But instead of looking into it further, he left in a rush since it was already late. 24 hours later, the noise was back and I reached out to LG Customer Care about follow up service. However, they are now refusing to send someone back out because this technician claimed the issue was likely caused by dirty vents. So you be the judge. Here is a video of my empty dryer 5 days post service.

Avoid this company…read more LG sent this company to my house to look at my dryer that is throwing a D80 error code. During the initial call, the technician automatically blamed my dryer vent as the problem on the phone even though I told him multiple times that I had the dryer vent line serviced and verified that the dryer was pushing air at an adequate speed. He was extremely rude on the phone during this call and hung up on me after confirming a time frame to arrive. He did not call me ahead of time to notify me that he was on his way and showed up to my door 45 minutes before the end of the window. When he finally did arrive, he looked at the dryer vent line and pulled lint out of my dryer which was clearly an issue, but ultimately refused to diagnose the issue further even though I showed him a picture of the error code from earlier in the day produced using the dryer's diagnostic mode and several weeks ago during normal use. I ultimately had to kick him out because he was arguing with me the entire time he was there and insulted me by saying I needed to see a Doctor when I told him to leave. A normal appliance repair company technician would have been respectful from the initial phone call, called ahead of time to tell me he was on the way, and actually diagnose the issue properly instead of deciding ahead of time what the problem is without listening to my concerns.

It produced 2 error codes (PE, LE) on late Friday afternoon, but he was available to come on Monday morning! After doing a diagnostic check, he replaced the pressure sensor (PE) which had been damaged by liquid detergent that slowly leaked from an overhead storage container. He also repaired the door lock (LE) and shared tips to keep the LG washing machine running smoothly. It was a bit expensive, but good value due to the quick response. I would definitely call Rob again! There's an initial fixed diagnostic fee ($75) and guarantee on work ($25), with the cost of labor and parts varying based on the extensiveness of the repair.

Rob repaired a heating element in our dryer a few minutes ago. He offered to come on the holiday, but we put if off until today. He stopped by this morning, and unfortunately did not have the part needed to repair the heating element, so he drove to Alexandria to get the part and then back to Leesburg. Rob took the time to show us what was wrong with the dryer, showed us where the old heating element was broken, and how it differed from the replacement part. He couldn't have been more professional and kind. We've had hit-or-miss experiences with repair companies over the year, but we'll be keeping Rob's business card close by, since he's the best we've seen!
