Disappointing experience and poor communication from management…read more We visited this restaurant while in Lake Arrowhead and unfortunately left with a bad impression of how management handles situations involving guests with pets. Upon arrival, we informed the host that our party of five included our 10 month old miniature dachshund. We were told pets were welcome and that the wait would be approximately 20-30 minutes. Once seated on the patio, we were asked to keep our puppy on the ground rather than on our laps due to hygiene concerns, which we completely understood and immediately complied with. Our puppy did bark occasionally, and we were actively trying to keep her calm with treats while remaining mindful of those around us. After ordering our second round of drinks, our waitress approached us and informed us that her manager wanted our dog to leave because of her barking. My issue isn't that her barking was addressed, but how the situation was handled. We were never given a warning or an opportunity to correct the behavior before being told she needed to leave. Had someone communicated their concerns beforehand, we would have gladly stepped away or made adjustments. What made the situation even more disappointing was that the manager couldn't come speak to us directly and instead left our waitress to deliver the message. She was incredibly kind and apologetic, even acknowledging that a child repeatedly running and dancing nearby appeared to be getting our puppy excited. She apologized again when we requested our tab and made it clear that this was management's decision. We understand that being dog-friendly doesn't mean allowing disruptive behavior, but basic communication and courtesy go a long way. We've visited plenty of dog-friendly establishments and have never experienced anything like this. Our waitress was wonderful, but management's lack of professionalism and communication left a bad taste in our mouths. Unfortunately, we won't be returning

In fact, on our most recent visit, thanks to the super friendly locals who frequent here, I found three new favorites: kiwiberry sour, bomb pop seltzer and rainbow sherbet seltzer! More importantly, I remembered to grab some growlers to take home with me this time! All in all, this is still our favorite brewery when we're up in this area. Now based on numbers it would have made ZERO difference if everything was split up with cost and tax... so it was really disappointing. I had not been able to eat yet but I ended up Having to get the check, go to each table , tally what each table ordered and then calculate what that tables total cost was. Then I took the tax percentage and added that to each amount and then each person went up to pay that amount. In the end we made sure everything was covered and we do appreciate the hosting of the party but I think as a business you would want to stick to set expectations and not need to see a big bill if it makes no difference in cost. Bartenders are nice but really work for a tip by asking a lot of questions. I get being friendly and relationship building but sometimes it's just awkward and puts you in a weird situation feeling forced to tip on the screen. And if you don't tip after they serve your drink and you say thank you they just walk away no "your welcome" or "enjoy", not that it's needed but hey customer service is nice. The vibes are nice inside and outside. There are some good food vendors and some not so good. They are kid and pet friendly.

They made planning easy by allowing us to pre-order shareable plates and set up drink tickets for our guests. The food was delicious! The shareable menu had somewhat limited vegetarian options, but it wasn't an issue since we were able to order additional vegetarian dishes from the regular menu. They also let you bring in your own small deserts so we brought in mini-Bundt cakes and it was the perfect compliment. Keep in mind, they don't have space for you to place food in their fridges so we did have some melted frosting but nothing we couldn't work around.
