Today my husband and I stopped by to check the place out before we bring the kids. Everyone was so welcoming! We were greeted by absolutely everyone. When we mentioned we were doing some recon for our sons birthday. We got a guided tour! Hector and the family were all so welcoming and so very kind! We immediately felt welcome and like one of the family! We cant wait to bring the kids back next weekend to party! We left with some food to try and couldn't have been happier! We got the Philly fries, mozzarella sticks and churo plate to go. Everything was phenomenal!! This is definitely shaping up to be the new family go to spot! I just wanted to add my family had an amazing time on Saturday! We will definitely be back! I really wanted to love the brick-and-mortar location because the food truck is hands-down AMAZING. The truck fries are incredible, the guys working there are always awesome, and the service has consistently been top-notch. That's honestly why this visit was such a disappointment. The new building itself is beautiful, and the ambiance isn't bad at all, but the food was a complete mess. Almost everything came out cold, lacked flavor, or just wasn't prepared properly. We ordered mac & cheese fries, carne asada fries, fried pickles, sandwiches, and drinks -- and every single one of us had something to complain about, which is rare for our group because we usually don't complain. The mac & cheese fries especially were rough. The macaroni wasn't even mixed together -- it felt like plain noodles thrown on fries with cheese dumped on top. Way too much pepper and almost no actual flavor. The guacamole was so sour it made one of the kids unable to eat his food, and he's the type of kid who eats basically everything. For the amount of time we waited (around 45 minutes), we expected the food to at least come out hot and worth the price, but unfortunately it just wasn't. The free chips and salsa while waiting was a nice gesture, but one tiny portion for five kids and three adults didn't really help much. The girls working there were sweet, but overall the service felt disconnected. Two cups of water got spilled and no one noticed or offered help. Toward the end of the meal they told us the arcade games in the back were free, which was nice, but by then the kids had already played because the food took so long. The fancy robots and tech are cool, but they don't make up for the lack of care going into the food. I truly hope this is just a rough start or growing pains because the food truck has set such a high standard. Such a fun experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the little robots delivering the food made it even more memorable. We tried the orange chicken fries and the LA hot dogs, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and hard to stop eating. The owner came by our table to chat and even took a selfie with us, which was a really nice personal touch. This is a new establishment so I really wanted this to be a great review but the service really made my husband feel unwelcome. Came in to put in an order & within seconds but most importantly AND WITHOUT a greeting, the hostess bluntly and rudely said "we're not taking cash right now". Imagine walking in with cash in your hand and the hostess turns you away in a rude way. Ironically my husband did have a debit card but he decided to leave due to the blunt unwelcoming nature of the hostesses tone. Management: You are losing customers due to the service. Please advise your staff that it's not just about what you say to customers but also how you say it. read more

Went here last night with my family, there was like 12 of us so yeah pretty big group. The place itself is actually really nice, super clean and looks really cool inside. I liked all the old Apple Valley stuff they had up, it's nice seeing something finally being done with that area. But honestly there were some problems. First they told us the food was gonna take about an hour, which didn't really make sense because it wasn't even that busy. There were people there but the place was kinda empty, so waiting that long felt like a lot. The biggest issue though was they were charging $4.50 for a cup for water. Not even bottled water, literally just paying $4.50 for a cup so you could go to the soda fountain and get water. I don't drink soda and some of my family can't either because of diabetes, so we pretty much only drink water. Paying that much just for a cup to get water is kinda crazy and didn't sit right at all. The arcade looked pretty fun and the kids really wanted to stay and play, and I actually felt bad leaving, but between the long wait for food and the water thing it was just too much. I really do hope this place does well because it has a lot of potential, but they probably need to fix some stuff like their prices and how long food takes, or I don't see it lasting. read more

If you've ever had their fries from their food truck you know how delicious their food is. With their full service sit down restaurant and an expanded menu they've went and knocked it out the park. The fries are still as delicious as on their food truck. The BBQ Pork Bao Buns were amazing the sauce that comes with it really takes it to the next level. The LA Street Dog was one of the best hot dogs I've ever had loaded up with peppers and crispy bacon. The service was very good the employees do a great job keeping the friendly atmosphere that Fries Galore is known for. The arcade area has every machine you could ask for, great for kids and adults and very fair claw machines so you can leave with a little prize too. They have a billiards with 2 pool tables to shoot around. They have an AMI machine so you can play some music while you're eating, playing games in the arcade, or shooting some pool in their billiards room. The ordering process is a little unorthodox with using kiosks but the staff is very helpful and the kiosks are responsive and menu items are easily adjustable and customizable. Your food will come on a little robot and the servers will help serve it and get you your drinks. Side note with water they give you a pitcher which for me is a giant plus. My visit was great the food, music, arcade, billiards and the very friendly and helpful staff will have me coming back very often. If you're looking to try something new even if you've had the truck before I guarantee you will be blown away by how great their restaurant is. read more

What a cool idea! Beautiful and spacious venue in the old Apple Valley Inn. Despite ordering at a kiosk, the service was excellent. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful. A robot brought the food from the kitchen but our server was right there to assist. The food was very flavorful. We had the buffalo chicken, chili verde and elote. They were all great. This was our first time at the Apple Valley restaurant. The staff was friendly, eager to serve as well as tolerant and accommodating of our son with special needs who brought in fast food from another restaurant because he is extremely picky and doesn't like to try new things. My husband and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan fries and boy was there a lot of food! Huge proportions. We enjoyed the robotic server and appreciate a business that expresses their faith. Even the robotic server said, "God bless." They have plenty of seating and two separate arcade rooms for the patrons to have fun while they wait for their delicious meal to be served by the fun robot. I think this place just became my new favorite spot to take the family for dinner. The place is big and spacious, you don't feel like you're on top of each other like other restaurants, the portions are HUGE, we definitely underestimated our stomachs because we ordered more than we really needed but everything was great even as leftovers so that was a win for us, definitely no money wasted there. Plus they have an arcade for the kids and each kid came home with at least one prize. And a pool table area that even our kids can hangout in. Our servers or table attendants, we're super sweet and everyone is super bubble and seem like they actually like their jobs which is refreshing to see and deal with! Very good service staff are always friendly, and the cashier has great energy. I genuinely love his attitude. However, the food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. The last two times I ordered, the fries were way too brown, and the food overall just wasn't good. So friendly staff, clean establishment. I wanted guacamole cheese fries which isn't on the menu but they made it special. The fries and cheese were very tasty....but....the guacamole was like straight vinegar. No avocado flavor at all, just vinegar. If they want a squirtable guacamole, it's very easy to mash avocados and use crema mixed in to get an amazing taste that's able to come out of a squirrel bottle. Add some salt in and boom....ready! My brother got the carne asada fries and the meat was tender and flavored perfectly....and the half order was more than he could finish, but he also didn't like the guacamole. It's so bitter. It would be better to make daily batches using the cremation than make huge batches full of vinegar. We might come again but I would skip the guacamole. read more

We went to Fries Galore in Apple Valley on opening day. Big mistake. We ended up waiting for over an hour and half for our food, which we never did get. I complained about the amount of time it was taking. We were offered a refund by the owners. It took 30 minutes to get a refund. I complained again. I was told by the owners that is was opening day, that they were working out some issues and if I didn't like how they were handling things I didn't have to come back to their establishment. It must be nice to not need customers. As we were dealing with our refund 4 other tables of people were getting refunds as well. All in all we spent 2 hours at this establishment, got no food and were treated rudely and disrespectfully by the owners. I will gladly take their advice and not patronize their establishment. I have better places to spend my money. I would give them zero stars if I could. read more

We just got home from there. The food was very tasty. I think the price point is a little high, not much but a little. Service was fantastic.
