This is a new establishment so I really wanted this to be a great review but the service really made my husband feel unwelcome. Came in to put in an order & within seconds but most importantly AND WITHOUT a greeting, the hostess bluntly and rudely said "we're not taking cash right now". Imagine walking in with cash in your hand and the hostess turns you away in a rude way. Ironically my husband did have a debit card but he decided to leave due to the blunt unwelcoming nature of the hostesses tone. Management: You are losing customers due to the service. Went here last night with my family, there was like 12 of us so yeah pretty big group. The place itself is actually really nice, super clean and looks really cool inside. I liked all the old Apple Valley stuff they had up, it's nice seeing something finally being done with that area. But honestly there were some problems. First they told us the food was gonna take about an hour, which didn't really make sense because it wasn't even that busy. There were people there but the place was kinda empty, so waiting that long felt like a lot. The biggest issue though was they were charging $4.50 for a cup for water. Not even bottled water, literally just paying $4.50 for a cup so you could go to the soda fountain and get water. I don't drink soda and some of my family can't either because of diabetes, so we pretty much only drink water. Paying that much just for a cup to get water is kinda crazy and didn't sit right at all. The arcade looked pretty fun and the kids really wanted to stay and play, and I actually felt bad leaving, but between the long wait for food and the water thing it was just too much. I really do hope this place does well because it has a lot of potential, but they probably need to fix some stuff like their prices and how long food takes, or I don't see it lasting. read more

What a cool idea! Beautiful and spacious venue in the old Apple Valley Inn. Despite ordering at a kiosk, the service was excellent. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful. A robot brought the food from the kitchen but our server was right there to assist. The food was very flavorful. We had the buffalo chicken, chili verde and elote. They were all great. This was our first time at the Apple Valley restaurant. The staff was friendly, eager to serve as well as tolerant and accommodating of our son with special needs who brought in fast food from another restaurant because he is extremely picky and doesn't like to try new things. My husband and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan fries and boy was there a lot of food! Huge proportions. We enjoyed the robotic server and appreciate a business that expresses their faith. Even the robotic server said, "God bless." They have plenty of seating and two separate arcade rooms for the patrons to have fun while they wait for their delicious meal to be served by the fun robot. So friendly staff, clean establishment. I wanted guacamole cheese fries which isn't on the menu but they made it special. The fries and cheese were very tasty....but....the guacamole was like straight vinegar. No avocado flavor at all, just vinegar. If they want a squirtable guacamole, it's very easy to mash avocados and use crema mixed in to get an amazing taste that's able to come out of a squirrel bottle. Add some salt in and boom....ready! My brother got the carne asada fries and the meat was tender and flavored perfectly....and the half order was more than he could finish, but he also didn't like the guacamole. It's so bitter. It would be better to make daily batches using the cremation than make huge batches full of vinegar. We might come again but I would skip the guacamole. read more

We went to Fries Galore in Apple Valley on opening day. Big mistake. We ended up waiting for over an hour and half for our food, which we never did get. I complained about the amount of time it was taking. We were offered a refund by the owners. It took 30 minutes to get a refund. I complained again. I was told by the owners that is was opening day, that they were working out some issues and if I didn't like how they were handling things I didn't have to come back to their establishment. It must be nice to not need customers. As we were dealing with our refund 4 other tables of people were getting refunds as well. All in all we spent 2 hours at this establishment, got no food and were treated rudely and disrespectfully by the owners. I will gladly take their advice and not patronize their establishment. I have better places to spend my money. I would give them zero stars if I could. read more

The only complaint is the food was barely room temperature when it came to our table. We shared the feedback with them. I'm sure they will only improve. Definitely will be back. I was happily surprised. I love chili cheese fries. I believe I have found the spot to go too. They call their version chili bean fries, and they are delicious. The chili, I think it has three different types of beans (kidney beans, black beans, and not sure what the third one was), not one hundred percent on the third bean, but the combination was tasty. It reminds me of my homemade chili. The portion size is substantial, and half a portion was the perfect amount for me and to share with my husband. I read many reviews that recommend the elote con fries, but I know that my favorite will be the chili bean fries. Hands Down, 1 of the Best Food Trucks I have ever experienced so far. This particular Food Truck showed up at the Yelp Helps Event: Barks and Brews in Redlands, CA. On 06/09/19. It was the first time I experienced their fries. The last time was from a Food Truck in a SGV event. The first set of fries I ordered were already excellent: carne asada fries. Just as I aforementioned in my Yelp Helps review, the cooks from the Food Truck were a memorable bunch. Due to the fact I took a tad longer to retrieve my order, they recalled me quite well. However, I had a darn good reason for retrieving my drink order while waiting for the fries to cook!!!! Anyways, will return to comment on the taste of the fries from my second order: philly cheese steak fries as I have not had a chance to chow them down yet. The ingredients that were mixed with the fries were: bell pepper, steak & cheese. All were cooked extremely well that were not overly salty. Wonderful customer service both times today. Fries Galore is a great and quick place with a drive thru which i.) meets health guidelines ii.) offers convenience for the busy parents or professionals! It was out first time actually trying it after a couple of attempts on the closed days (Sun. & Mon.). Well worth the multiple attempts with one minor critic on the asada fries. They need more moist ingredients in the middle underneath the piled ingredients. The elote fries on the other hand were evenly proportioned with a good balance of moist and dry ingredients making them perfect! I ordered a split plate at hammers. When my number was called I walked up to the truck and saw an employee did a fake spit into the top (empty) side of my Styrofoam plate and then closed it. He looked and saw me standing there to see it. Another guy was in the background complaining that someone had called his wife to inform him that "the hood wasn't working" and was telling another employee that he should have been called directly. Berating everyone around him and telling all the other employees (and customers for that matter) about someone's actions. As I took the plate the employee who did the fake spit said "God Bless". Fries Galore was recently at the 2019 Grand Prix... Well, my Husband and I were at the event and my Husband chose they're food truck to eat at (along with a group of our friends). My husband chose the "Pulled Pork French Fries." Once my Husband got his food, he realized it was nothing at all like they advertised. The pork was in small deep fried like cubes instead of the shreaded pork that was shown in they're pictures/an advertising. The pork would have tasted completely different than what he would have wanted. So, I nicely go up to the window (after waiting in line again and a line was forming behind me) and I ask if they can either give us our money back or make my Husband something different. Well, the guy at the window was EXTREMELY RUDE and said, "we don't do refunds." I said, "how about making him something different since what you advertise is not what you sell." He replied "yeah. We don't do that either." He then said, "you obviously go to McDonalds... Does they're food look like the pics?" I said, "for the most part they're food is served as shown but McDonald's isn't my concern. Your food truck is." Well, a few more words were exchanged caused by his extreme attitude and is lack of professionalism.
