They really did a great job renovating the place. New freezers and fridges as well as new walls and floors.

Sometimes on quiet days in town there is a wait because the cashier is also responsible for preparing the food/drinks, but it's always reasonable. The prices are very fair, they do not hit you with the "mountain tax" at all. The drip coffee is tasty and the espresso is good as well! I haven't had the pastries yet but they look good, especially the donuts, and I'm excited to come back and taste them. Today I had the breakfast burrito, the cashier was very helpful and accommodating of some recent dietary restrictions I have developed, and she made me a great burrito! I swapped out the bacon for avocado (not normal for me, but like I said, dietary restrictions) and it was just as good as with bacon! My burrito has avocado, eggs, hash browns and tomatoes, and it was exactly what I needed. Good to note that the only bread option is sourdough, however, it is very tasty homemade and fresh sourdough, which is quite the treat. Unfortunately, not for me today, but I have enjoyed it in the past. I usually get to go and drive up the hill to picnic with a view, but I'm looking forward to eating in one day. That atmosphere is very cozy and calm, both the inside and the patio are nice. Speaking of atmosphere, I was happy to see many pride and pro LGBTQ flags in the restaurant, helping foster a welcoming environment for all. TLDR - 1. Good food , good coffee , very fair prices. Mostly serving sandwiches, pastries, coffee. 2. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere and staff. 3. Big wine selection. 4. Cozy interior or nice patio for Al fresco dining.

We each walked up to the counter and placed our orders. While waiting, we enjoyed the cozy interior and a live band on the patio. We ordered a few sandwiches, huge pretzels, and a cheese flatbread for the kiddos. I ordered the cold 6" Knuckle Sammy, and it was filled generously with deli meats and fresh ingredients. A very satisfying sandwich. Other sandwiches enjoyed included the Meatball, Pastrami Reuben, and Wrightwood Philly. The pretzels were fantastic, hot and soft, and came with a tasty cheese dip. The beers on tap were terrific. I had the Seasalt & Lime Lager, which was cold and refreshing. I got to try Hazy IPA, which was good, and if you like sours, the Plum Sour is worth a try. They also have hard seltzer and non-alcoholic beverages in the cold fridge next to the cashier. The staff was kind, and the service was excellent. They brought out our orders to where we were sitting. Plenty of TV monitors to enjoy some sports. They also have local activities and special menu items on certain days.

My children like this place, my wife likes this place and obviously lots of other people do. My wife and I shared the poutine, and we had some chicken wings as an appetizer. She likes Guinness draft there and I had Sour Monkey Triple draft. The poutine was good and it was the first time my wife had tried it--she loved it. I thought there could have been a little bit more of the cheese curd, it was fried, but I know every place makes theirs a little different. The atmosphere is great; it reminds you of a cabin on the inside and of course you're in Wrightwood CA so it's a perfect mountain hangout. The tables are clean, the area swept up and a very inviting indoor environment as outdoor environment. This is a rustic environment, so don't expect four-star accommodation. Again, as I said, it is perfect for this area, and I would expect nothing less. The service was great, we had two or three different servers, and they were always polite, knew their menu well, and offered upgrades. Had a great conversation with this server and he had been coming up there for years himself before working there. His daughter and wife were outside, and he would periodically chat with them which made us feel like it was a great family environment. The menu is varied and they have some excellent hamburgers; I have had the patty melt in the past. There is something about being 5000 feet above sea level, having a cold drink, and hot food; it's amazing. If you happen to be up in the Wrightwood area stop by at this place you will not regret it the food is hot and tasty, the beer is cold and the service and ambience is excellent,

One thing I really love is that you can bring in your own food. They do also offer charcuterie boards that are absolutely delicious, although they sometimes sell out because they're so popular. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and truly feels like home. Everyone here is genuinely friendly, which is rare to find these days. I always leave in a better mood than when I arrived. The brewery only has snacks to serve as food but allow any outside food. They do have a food truck, typically Mexican food, and it was pretty tasty. We tried the carne asada nachos and surprisingly enjoyed the taste. They have numerous tv's playing along the brewery with both the soccer and baseball games that was going on concurrently. There is no "bad" place to sit and you still have a great view of the TVs. There is an open area where kids hang out and if they like, can play with a sports ball of choice; my kids brought a bounce ball. The only thing lacking was parking and music. We got lucky after driving around the block a few times but the parking spaces are pretty tight, especially if you have a truck or SUV. Though games are playing, with all the laughing/talking not much you can hear except the loud clatter so music would have helped as much better "noise" to hear lol Overall, beer and slushy seltzers were great, reasonably priced, and big area to sit.

Coming to the Wrightwood Inn for the first and last time this weekend, wasn't a great way to end the night. Vibes were definitely off with the way one server was treating certain people. As the night went on it got worse. Ive never seen anyone treated so horrible as I witnessed Jessica scream at someone, kicking them out. The other people did nothing and just walked in as she noticed them and yelled at them "to get the f*** out" in their face multiple times, her hands up. Doing that in their face all the way till they simply walked out. Completely out of line. Instead of handling the situation with grace she went over board. We left shortly after. I cannot support a business with workers that treat people in that way. Unacceptable and I wont want anyone I care for treated that way so it definitely wont be a place I suggest to anyone.
