We live near Gadsden. There are plenty of great BBQ places there. We were in Bremen and hungry and stopped in. We got the ribs. They are sooooo good and there is soooo much meat on them. I'm now finishing them the next day and they are still great. Service was excellent, staff was courteous and helpful. Now...it was 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon - 12:30 our time - and there was hardly anyone in there. OTOH, that's when you sometimes get bad service in otherwise good places. It's a BBQ place. Clean is all I ask and it was that - including the restroom. There are like 300 things on the menu and now I want to try them all. Too bad it's 90 minutes away from us. That was our experience. YMMV, but I hope they are consistent. We'll be back when we're over that way. read more

My goal is to always try and support local business, so I've tried this place a few times now. I will say that one positive is the take out is usually ready pretty quick. However, the food is subpar and extremely expensive for what you're getting. And I would be able to look past that if the owner and staff were friendlier - but unfortunately that isn't the case, despite the numerous Bible verses decorating the wall. Anyone who has said the opposite is likely related to them or a staff member. If you want good BBQ and pleasant service, try Evans in Villa Rica or Owens in Tallapoosa. read more

This place is awesome! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The service was super fast; we had our food in five minutes. My mom and I agreed that the coleslaw was the best we'd ever had. Very friendly staff. I ordered the chicken and 1/4 rib plate to go. Ribs were delicious. Chicken had good flavor but was fairly dry. My order took just shy of half an hour, and it wasn't busy. Would cautiously recommend but only if you have a long time to spend getting food. read more

Went out to eat at Wright Way BBQ & Wings for lunch today and ordered "extra crispy" wings. We got served RAW wings. When we went to the counter to return the food and ask for our money back, not only were we told that's the way they cook them, but also got a whole show from the woman owner. She was kind enough to call me a "bitch" and told me to "get the hell out of (her) restaurant." She has ZERO professionalism and is probably one of the worst people to ever work in a public restaurant. She's the only one that raised her voice at us and cussed. I'm sure they have video footage from the restaurant which I hope she showed to the cops that she called after she slammed my money on the counter and got in my face. What a "Christian" lady in a "Christian bbq restaurant." We got the end of her cussing me out on camera, but had we known she'd flip her lid, we would have videoed the entire encounter. I would never again recommend this place for anyone to eat. While their food can be mediocre to good - depending on what you get, the professionalism and courteousness is seriously lacking. I'm sure they won't last much longer because apparently my experience is not the first and I'm sure it's far from being the last. read more

They need to change the name to "Wrong Way BBQ". This was the worst meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Had the beef brisket plate. The beef was tasteless, over cooked. Had sides of tasteless green beans and some type of coleslaw. I wish the coleslaw was tasteless, because the taste it had was horrible. It was mush, and watery. I called in a to-go order tonight. The lady that answered the phone was so nice. I ordered my food, was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I wait, and get up there a couple minutes after my order was supposed to be ready. I pay for the food, fix my own drinks, and head home. I sit down to eat with my fiancé and our child and all three of us had horrendously soggy fries. I was literally able to swing my fry in a circle like a helicopter about two times before it collapsed on itself. They were greasy and soggy and tasted horrible. So I decided to eat just my wings. They were chewy and fatty. Not to mention fairly small. I toughed out eating about 7 of them because I'm pregnant and my blood sugar was starting to bottom out. My stomach is currently cramping pretty bad from what I ate. (No, it's not labor, I'm only 19 weeks and 3 days.) My 2 year old, that loves fries, barely touched his. He did seem to like his hot dog though. My fiancé didn't touch his fries and ate 2 wings. I ate both of our carrot sticks. They came in a plastic bag swimming in water. Some of the carrot sticks were kind of mushy. This is my first and last visit to this restaurant. I highly do NOT recommend trying this place. read more

The ABSOLUTE worst food we've ever had.... Even walking in my wife mentioned this place just felt creepy. Looking at the menu it seemed you can't really mess up burgers/wings etc. Were we wrong. Ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings, and wings and fries... for $28. Onion rings weren't even edible, wings and fries were served in no less than a 1/2 inch of grease, literally pooling in the bottom of the basket. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. You can't post without giving a minimum of a star. No chance this place gets a star in ANYONE'S book. We went for dinner the other night. Could not believe the huge menu! There was some of everything. We sampled several different things and everything was good. The folks working there were great. We didn't realize until after we ordered that it was like 20 minutes before closing. Once we saw they were closing soon we apologized and offered to leave before they started preparing our meal (because walking in a restaurant at closing time is a jerk move for sure). They assured us it was no problem and acted like they were still happy to have us there. Food choice was huge (BBQ, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, plus tons of appetizers and desserts too), restaurant was clean, people were nice. We will be back for sure! read more

It's worth the visit, but don't have your expectations too high. I had the ribs and pulled pork platter with BBQ beans and Brunswick stew. The BBQ beans were fantastic. the ribs were a bit dry, but still good. The pulled pork was good, but nothing extraordinary. The Brunswick stew was the worst I have ever had. What a disappointment. I was excited to see it on the menu because it's one of my favorites that isn't commonly offered at restaurants. It has the look of Brunswick stew, but it is definitely not Brunswick stew. It tastes like tomato paste, add corn and about a pound of black pepper. Terrible! No one in our group could eat it. read more

We arrived 45 minutes before a show at the Mill Town Music Theatre. It is been 30 minutes since we ordered and still no food. I don't think we will be served in time to eat before the show starts. We asked about the wait and the order taker said 15 minutes. I have two suggestions for the owner. 1. If there is going to be a long wait tell the customer when they order that they won't be served before the show. 2. The theatre is in the same strip mall as the restaurant. You should be able to staff to handle more customers who will come to your restaurant for a show. read more

If you're looking for great BBQ, do not miss this place. When I saw the giant rolls of paper towels on the tables, I knew I was in for some good, authentic BBQ food. Surprisingly the food was not overly greasy, which is actually one of the reasons I like good BBQ, but the lack of grease didn't take away from the rich flavor. Their menu is incredibly extensive, and EVERYTHING was delicious. Beef brisket, pulled pork, chicken, ribs, and every type of fried food you can imagine, from fried mushrooms and fried green beans to fried peppers and fried Oreos. The wing options are equally impressive. They have super hot wings called "purgatory wings" and rotating wing flavors. I had the garlic pepper parmesan wings. Delicious. My family and I just moved to the area and since we've been staying in a hotel until our house is ready we've been eating out almost every meal. We've been here almost 2 weeks and already been here twice. When you first walk in the menu seems a little overwhelming, but it's really just the way it is all listed. The first visit my fiancé, his daughter, and I ask had boneless wings with fries, which were very good. She had the extra mild and we both did mild sauce which were what you'd expect. The second visit I tried the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries which was also excellent. Even as someone who doesn't eat pulled pork often, I actually think it was my favorite, very tender and prepared well. We also tried the fried mushrooms and mozzerella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were good, but I wasn't crazy about the mushrooms. They were just ok, but I didn't care for the sauce they come with. They may have been better with ranch or something, but i expected the sauce to have a little more tang or spice or something, it was just very plain. Not awful, just not for me. Everything else was delicious. Both visits the place was clean and food came out pretty timely. It was busy both times too, so I assume it's a popular place locally. The price was pretty fair for the food too. We've heard they have good hamburgers from my fiancé's coworker as well, so I'm sure we'll be back to try those. read more

I called at lunchtime today to place a carryout order for a platter for 2 which comes with ribs. I was told that they did not have any ribs ready at that time and that they would be ready after 4:30 that afternoon. Okay, I understand that restaurants run out of items from time to time and was willing to wait until dinner. I called back at 5:00, tried placing the order again, and was again told the ribs were not ready. I asked when they would be and the woman on the phone simply replied with "I don't know." So, I was disappointed with my first order attempt but upon calling back and being told they didn't know when they would be ready was really quite annoying and unprofessional. I've ordered carryout from here before and never had a problem, but I'm going to take my business elsewhere after this experience. read more

A one star rating is to good for this local business. The owners wife is full of excuses for the poor quality of food prepared. Her excuses were short handed, ball game and no message for a callback that she could find. Poor management skills. The salad bar looked like a hurricane run through what was left in it and was shorted 7 wings out of 50 on a to go order. The wings were supposed to be extra crispy and were tasteless and almost undercooked. I can take in account some conditions of staffing and busy if that were the case, but her way of dealing with the customer was sad. Before eating here I suggest reading many of the reviews. A local business needs locals to eat there and not just Milltown music venue to support it. Your wife ( co owner) never addressed the tasteless part of the wings and treated me as if I were stupid and that I couldn't add as 15 +15 wings makes 50, if she had have been listening to start with she would have heard me mention the 20 other flavorless wings in the order (As you know we ordered 3 Flavors- and paid extra for that- more wasted money) Don't worry I will not step foot in your 10 year establishment - as well it seems a lot of other people after reading reviews. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!! Called in a order today after work to pick up on the way home... I really wanted onion rings, that is why I chose this restaurant to order from. I got home and NO onion rings, they gave me fries (I do not care for their fries). I called them Immediately to inform them of their error. They pulled my ticket and I was told " It said fries so I had ordered fries not onion rings" I assured him I knew for a fact I had ordered onion rings that I did not want free food or replacement rings I just wanted to let them know a error had occurred ( I live out of the way and would not make another trip there anyway) Whoever I spoke with was very rude when I asked if he was the owner, he continued to be extra rude and hung up on me!!! read more

EXTREMELY disappointed in Wright Way BBQ & Wings today! Marty went in to get a to-go order. He waited 20 min. The employee couldn't find it. (It was sitting on the counter getting cold) No apology. We get Sam on the way home (didn't have to wait at all in line because we were so late), get home, no bbq sauce and the meal is cold. He leaves to go back to get some sauce. I call up there, and request a do-over so he doesn't have to microwave good food. I was transferred to the manager (or owner, not sure, no one would identify themselves). I explained what happened. He told me it doesn't come with bbq sauce and it was my fault for stopping to get my kid first. I told him that I appreciated his hateful attitude toward a patron. (We were going at least once or twice a week for lunch). He slammed the phone on me! When Marty walked in, the employee who lost his order (on the counter) walked over with sauce and didn't say a single word to him. This is supposed to be a Christian establishment. I have never been treated so poorly. They have lost our business and should be ashamed on how management handled the situation today. We are staying in the area for a few months and tried this place tonight. I was craving a burger and the firehouse did not disappoint! It had both fried and fresh jalapeño peppers along with pepper jack cheese. The fried were homemade as was the fried okra! We will definitely be back soon to try more of the expansive menu!!!
