I wasn't inside trying to listen to someone's private conversation--the yelling was so loud that customers sitting in the drive-thru could hear it. It was completely unacceptable and extremely uncomfortable to hear a manager berating an employee like that. Whatever the issue was, there is absolutely no reason a manager should be screaming at an employee loud enough for customers to hear. If this is how management treats employees when customers are present, it raises serious concerns about how employees are being treated when customers aren't around. A manager represents the company, and this kind of behavior reflects terribly on Zaxby's. I strongly encourage corporate or the franchise owner to look into this location, speak with the employees who were working around 7:00 PM, and address how this manager is speaking to staff. Employees deserve to be treated with basic dignity and respect.
