I was so curious I made the trip from Gainesville Monica gets 5-Stars for Stix Bar & Grill for having free pool all day Monday to Friday before 530 pm, a non smoking room, and great food at affordable prices. She also gets 5 Stars for serving a clientele of all ages and races here. As Bartender Mallory put it, " It gives the teenagers a safe clean place to hang out here when they could be getting into getting into trouble out there ." For free pool and good food and company all day like this? I don't think this will be the last time I make this trip. The small space is nicely appointed, tastefully, but also unquestionably like a BBQ joint. What does that mean...hard to know, but at the same time, it's nearly always easy to tell when you are inside a BBQ joint vs any other restaurant. The ribs are delicate and fall off the rack, with an intense Smokey flavor. The wings are their signature dish and also rather incredible. People are nice and there isn't much more one can ask for. It's an incredibly solid place for a very enjoyable piece of this all American tradition.
