I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. (Photos attached) So now I'm going through the claim process that I was trying to avoid and out hard earned dollars that they refused to refund.

A SameDay rep set up my windshield replacement for the afternoon, saying they would call one hour in advance. He also said he needed my credit card info but it would only be charged after the job was complete. Perfect - NOT! They actually contacted Reyes Auto Glass, who contracted my job to a local garage ran by Hector, who contracted the job out to a guy named Jorge, who doesn't even work for Hector, but just does odd jobs for him, per his wife. NO CALL 1 HOUR AHEAD - as I was just arriving at my grandson's school, Jorge called to say he was at my place. I rush home to see that he's not there and was in another city. His wife called, I sent a map with exact instructions, but he still went to the same address as the first time, after which his wife said it was costing him more than he would make and he wasn't going to do the job. So now I'm back tracking to Hector, who said he'd come and do it himself the next day and would call first thing in the morning. NEVE HEARD from him. Called him to cancel and went somewhere else. After all this, the next week I was charged for the job!!! I called Hector who said he hadn't done it and would find out who I could call. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM. Made my way back to a nice person who made the calls needed for me to be refunded.
