Took my truck in after a collision. I bought my truck from James Wood brand which was upgraded front grill. they tell me they cannot feel comfortable putting one on. My family and I have bought our last 5 cars at Huffines Lewisville because of their exceptional customer service, we get our cars serviced with them and the times when have needed we have taken our cars to the Huffines Collision Center. Today is the last time we use their collision center. The quote given a day prior to scheduling the service changed, nothing was mentioned when dropping of the car or when they called to say car ready to be picked up, instead of explaining the reason of the change of final quote, both service tech Ralph and manager Brian were very unprofessional to the point of making us feel like we didn't want to pay. That was not the case, we only wanted an explanation, instead manager Brian became unnecessarily rude. Sad to have experienced this kind of customer service. read more

I brought my vehicle here for a 1 inch paint defect. They repainted the entire roof and now it's full of dirt niblets. Worst paint job I have ever seen. I have no idea how it passed inspection. Update: 12/27/18 Well the vehicle WAS supposed to be done yesterday. the parts had just come in so it was finished today. a phone call would have been nice. its call customer service. yes after all this back and forth its really still THAT hard for Tim to pick up a phone. Which is crazy since phones have been quite mobile for a while now. anyway my annoyance makes me digress. Husband picked up the car. Its home. this is done..although "for now" comes to mind. when he picked it up they gave him a disclaimer about how some of the plastic parts might need to "settle" when the weather warms up. ‍‍‍ Of course this was only mentioned yet again after my husband found the parts loose himself. again nobody with car knowledge appears to work at this car place. paul the manager. Apologized profusely and even asked IF I WOULD REMOVE OR FIX MY REVIEW BECAUSE HE THINKS IT CAN CAUSE THEM DAMAGE. no dear. your lack of management of employees and terrible shoddy work is what destroys businesses. And its poor form to ask someone to remove their review. Unfortunately for Huffines this is going to be our family car for a very long time. lets see how well their paint and clear coat job is actually going to hold up. Seriously. do yourself a favor. avoid like the plague. update: 12/22/18 It has been over 50 days that my vehicle has been in the possession of Huffines. After finally ordering a new bumper because the first one was damaged by incorrect fixes to paint mistakes. It is still not to par. They informed us on Thursday the 20th that it was ready. new bumper was indeed put on. but alas the rear sensors were visibly broken. These things happen but im surprised again that they said the car was ready. It is my personal suggestion to maybe train employees on basic vehicle inspections. so their time as well as the customers is not wasted. and it would save at this point much embarrassment to the company. Huffines will now have our family vehicle over two holidays. this has caused a huge upset in our household and up needed stress following a very traumatic car accid NEVER GO HERE! Car accident was the highlight of the whole experience. Sad when the wreck is the best part. Car accident before Thanksgiving on a brand new Subaru. not even a month old. rear ended on the highway and shoved into the car in front of me. front and back end damage on new 2018 Forester. Insurance of man at fault covered us and we decided to our extreme regret to bring the car here for repair. We were assured by the manager who did our intake that they would take care of us. everything would be great. Lies. After 2 weeks and ordering new parts they sit on the car for a few days and dont call. we have to investigate and find out yes we can go up there. Well paint job was shoddy at best. peeling seams, paint on plastic bumper. debris UNDER paint! and the repaired muffler had gaps the original muffler on other side did not. they could not even see their "repair" did not match the original one that wasnt damaged. all they had to do was visual comparison and they couldnt. We denied car and now its under their warrant to fix. they had for another week and "fixed" the paint. it was WORSE! white splatter on black plastic bumper. they PAINTED by hand black on the black plastic to hide their mistakes!! yup they ruined a brand new bumper. So at this point we have insurance adjuster go up there and advocate. He explains he spoke to Tim and was told they now had to order a new bumper and do process all over because they messed up the old one by doing all this. Another week went by and we have just gone up and its STILL HORRIBLE! their is a bump in the paint. Of course its Saturday so nobody is there to talk to. all you can do is pick up/drop off cars. but when you have a problem there is no one to tell. So now my husband will have to take off work lose money and try and schedule Tim and the Insurance guy to be there same time to talk to everyone about these problems. When we showed up first time nobody expected my husband to whip out a flashlight and crawl under car and really look at paint and repairs. they looked annoyed because obviously they were hoping we would not notice. DO NOT GO HERE! Its a brand new car so we will see how scratched up it is when its finally "done" looks like Huffines may be in for some legal action as we have photographs of everything. Will update with chronological photos when car is finally fixed. Stay away. UPDATE:12/28/18 CAR IS NOT ALIGNED! this is a car collision place that has no idea what to do with cars in collisions. they either did NOT align it or they failed. it pulls to the left to oncoming traffic. it should never pull to the left. ‍ read more

Huffines is a preferred collision center of Allstate. I got into an accident a while back. But I DO NOT SUGGEST using this Collison center AT ALL! Not only did repairs TAKE FOREVER the date kept being changed. Because this center is a preferred one, an adjustor doesn't go look at your vehicle. So, they go off the word of the workers. My unit should've been a total loss but instead cost over 17K to fix. Then it was labeled as structural damage and CANNOT be sold on ANY DEALERS LOT!! NOT EVEN HUFFINES .... PER THEIR GM... IT'S A LIABILITY TO PUT THE CAR ON THEIR LOT! But it wasn't a liability to give it back to me? To drive around 4 minors. So much of a liability for them but not for the customer??? Absolutely fantastic experience! Our advisor Trey went above and beyond to get us 100% taken care of. He is a true asset to Huffines, and should definitely be recognized as such. We purchased our Jeep new from Huffines, have always had it serviced at Huffines, and have now had it repaired at Huffines. It is nice to have a local dealer group cultivate a relationship through such great customer service across multiple departments. As far as repair quality goes, they made it look as though no accident had ever occurred. The body work was perfect, the paint work was factory quality, and Trey managed to get insurance to approve OEM Jeep parts instead of salvage or aftermarket components (may or may not be possible with your particular claim). Absolutely terrible experience. I dropped my car off with Huffines Collision Center on the 4th of January to repair my front bumper (by recommendation of State Farm). I got no call to say "hey we got your car" or anything for over a week. I started calling that Friday and couldn't get my representative to answer a call or return my messages. I ended up getting State Farm involved...they wouldn't even call State Farm back. Finally I got a hold of them because state farm got mad in the second week of them having my car. It took until the end of the second week for them to even send an estimate to State Farm. They eventually have me a free loaner. I finally got told they would probably be done on 22nd, no call to pick up. Then they called to say Monday, no communication Monday or Tuesday. Finally I get my car back Wednesday, it looks great! My ordeal is over! Or so I thought, I noticed this morning my turn signals weren't working as they should. So here I am, January 28th, almost a month after initial drop of waiting on my car in their lobby, writing a review for an absolutely terrible customer experience. I can't speak for people going through another insurance company, I think my communication problems may stem from my rep, but I highly advise you take your business elsewhere, I'll never set foot in any Huffines again, Lewisville or otherwise. read more

The car wreck was a pleasure cruise compared to working with Huffines (specifically Michael Lewis) so you are warned. I was T-boned by a lady with insurance through The Hartford. It was the first automobile accident I have had in my three decades of driving, so I was naive about the process. The Hartford assumed 100% responsibility and asked that I get my repair done here. Michael Lewis is their representative, so when you need updates on your vehicle - he is the only source. You will have a great time working with Michael if you love leaving voicemails. (he will not answer his phone). He won't call you back. ever. As I write this, my vehicle has been there three weeks, and he has not called once about it. I have probably averaged a call every three days, and I have been hung up on four times, but I did catch him twice. Once two weeks ago, and once last Friday. Michael won't be able to tell you when your vehicle will be done, but he will tell you that he has been sick/out of family business/vacation/personal issues. (he has to explain why he won't call you) I know more about Micheal's personal life than I do my own. I am having the car moved to another Collision center. You will too, if you choose this trainwreck of a business. read more

With the first call my SUV was picked up from the auto pound and delivered , I rented a car from Enterprise which is on location at Huffines, the Allstate insurance adjuster, Tim was also on location at Huffines and had the assessment done in recorded time to get my repairs started. Convenience, great customer service and first class attention; I got what I wanted and more, a company and staff who cares! From that first call to the delivery of my SUV, I had nothing but very professional and courteous staff interactions! And my 2017 SUV runs like it a brand new vehicle! I was in a car accident January 28th. Took it there the same day for an estimate then drove my car home and waited for the car that they could get me in. 5 weeks go by and I hear nothing. I knew they were busy, but it was getting ridiculous. I call and leave a message on 2 separate occasions and don't hear back. My fiancé calls for me in the early morning and he finally talks to Michael Lewis who prepared the estimate. Michael gives us a time we can bring it in. I was pretty irritated with the waiting thing, but Michael was great! He had been gone 2 weeks out of the 5 for personal family issues, and he also thought that we were waiting for a loaner car of theirs to use (I had told him that I would have to pay for a rental out of pocket as my insurance company wouldn't cover it). After finding both of those pieces of information out, I wasn't as frustrated and would definitely return here again. The repair was estimated 2 weeks and only took a week and a half. They also fixed a lot of issues a previous collision center messed up. I'm so thankful that there are still good people in this world. Will definitely be returning here in the future. The biggest issue here is communication, which is well worth having to deal with to be treated respectfully. read more

I had some warranty work done a few months ago, and I decided to report on how horrible of a job they did. My Subaru was in a collision back in 2006. Huffines did the work on it then and I remember they did some terrible work. I still own this car, and the paint has a lifetime warranty. Last summer the clear coat started coming off of the hood. I took it in for the warranty. At first they couldn't believe I still had this car. The repaint was horrible. Large portions of the hood had the clear coat coming off so they needed to repaint the entire hood. Instead of doing it properly, they just painted over the hood and put on a new clear coat. As a result they encapsulated previous rock chips, so now it looks like there's tiny dents in the hood. I imagine the clear coat will come off again because they suck. They also scratched up the top of both fenders and they damaged my wiper fluid nozzles. They're lazy and won't standby their work. I know my car is old, it doesn't mean you should treat it like crap. It's this old because I take excellent care of it. read more

After several months of having my vehicle back I ran into a problem. I called several times leaving messages for my service writer to return my call. After so many calls and no return calls I went to the dealership to discuss the issue. To my surprise I was informed my service writer was no longer with the company. To a greater surprise and what I believe to be extremely positive customer service, the office manager cane out, reviewed my vehicle concerns and told me she would order parts. As promised, a few days later (at my convenience) they took my vehicle in for repair. They put me in a brand new loaner truck. (Very nice). A few days later the GM Brad called me to advise me the repairs in question were due to a weak broken part, not their neglect or poor workmanship which is what I attributed the damage to. He told me what the parts would cost. I told him to move forward with the repairs. A day later I was called again to pick up my vehicle. Upon inspection and review of the bad parts, new parts and invoice I can only say had I taken it to Ford where I have an extended warranty on the vehicle I would have paid my deductible to cover parts and labor. Huffines Collision Centers invoice was much less that my deductible and as a curtesy to me they did not charge me for any labor. Once again, HUFFINES COLLISION CENTER, BENNETT ST, Lewisville Texas stood head and shoulders above any of its competitors and provided great service to me. It is for reasons like this I have continued to take my vehicles to Huffines Collision for all my work. They not only do a great job, they care about their customers and it shows every time I go in there. I would like to point out Ms. Terry, Collision Center Manager, Jose, Body Shop Tech, the Speciality Dent removal tech (my apologies for not remembering his name) who is a true gentleman and remarkable artist in his highly specialized field & Ms Rita (name ?) Detail, Finish and Customer Prep Tech are all integral parts of the fantastic team and crew of the well skilled team at Huffines Chevrolet Lewisville Collision Center and the Huffines Family. The general Manager of Huffines, along with the GM of the Collision Center, Paul are not only great contributions to the Huffines name, they are assets that shine due in part to their fantastic staff of employees that make them all shine and their own professional and personal touch they very obviously put forth to make this well oiled team work! I have been calling and leaving messages with the gentleman that handles USAA claims and he hasn't returned ANY calls. I've had his staff even email him. Anyway, I go to drop by car off and I'm sitting waiting for them to track down, call and page Tom but no one can find him. When they do track him down maybe 20 mins later he apologizes and says he was on lunch. Fine. He said it would only be a week or so unless they find additional damage. That's fine. I ask that they keep me up to date with the process incase i need to get a rental etc (I was working that week from home since i would not have a vehicle) - so i opt in for text updates which are a total joke and they never called to give me an update so I call to get an update and they let me know that they have found additional damage, (AGAIN - WHY DID NO ON LET ME KNOW) and that they were going to supplement for some "additional screws that are needed." Okay. So I let them know Thanksgiving is coming up and I need to get my car back before them so to please follow up with the insurance (this is on a Monday) and they said they would. The holidays go by and the following Monday (today) we still have no update so my father goes with the insurance checks to the Huffines Collision Center to speak with someone and see what's going on. He met Tom when he arrived and explained that he was frustrated because Tom had not been updating anyone on the process and that he had tried to contact him this morning but did not get a call back. Tom insisted that he had not missed a call but when they went to check his voicemail, confirmed that he had missed a call around 11am that morning and that again, he must have been on lunch. We tried to give him the insurance check but Tom explained that they did not handle getting the check approved there. My dad mentioned that we had taken to elsewhere for a prior repair and that the repair shop had handled that portion for us. Tom then spat "well why didn't you take it there then," and "what is it that you have against Huffines?!" - this is where we are at in the process, I am still without a car and unsure how the repairs on my vehicle look at this point, but I just would like to express my frustration with the level of professionalism that they follow here so far. read more

I was #2 car in a 5 car rear-end accident on Hwy 121 and took my Chrysler 300 to Huffines for estimate and repair. I was quickly assigned to someone for the estimate and they did all the leg-work in getting information to my insurance company. I left on vacation when I took my car in for the repairs so did not need a loaner to drive. While on vacation I received several electronic messages advising me of the current process of repairs such as "in the paint bay". which was great!! I loved being kept up to date without having to make phone calls to inquire on the repair process. Upon my return, my Chrysler was ready to pickup and looked brand new. Backed into a light pole, messed up the rear bumper and muffler/tailpipe. Since I did not want to file an insurance claim, the rep, Robert Waters, suggested I bring the car back in as soon as they called me when the parts arrived. I took it back in on 10/31/16 and was told it should be ready in 4-5 days. But the next day Robert called and said they were able to replace the muffler/tailpipe but did not have to do any repairs to the exhaust pipe which saved me over $150. They had finished the paint job on the new bumper and he said I could pick it up by the end of the day (11/1). Robert was terrific! Over a period of several years we have used Huffines Collision Center about 3 times now and have been very pleased. read more

Had our car towed here after a collision on November 4th. I don't even know where to start on my complaints. First of all, we just got our car back yesterday, Feb 8th....over 3 months after they received it! This morning, the car won't start. We were originally told originally that our car repair would be complete by Thanksgiving. Then were strung along for the next couple months with a constant "2 more weeks" answer. One of the delays was caused because one of the used parts they installed to replace a damaged piece (which they were allowed to do) was broken. If used parts are used as replacement parts, they should be thoroughly evaluated before being installed on a vehicle. This apparently didn't happen and they had to take everything back apart to again replace the component. After we picked up the vehicle yesterday, it drove fine, but was dusty inside. However, while out running errands last night, the car would reset every time we started it. This morning it doesn't start at all. I have called and left a message while I sit carless once again. The quality assurance at this place is far sub-par and I feel completely helpless. read more
