Digging in all pockets I had a few bucks on hand and thought well I'll just ask them to weigh out whatever I could pay for. Not only did I get to pick right-out-of-the-ground berries I got more than plenty and a nice surprise to boot! Please.Go out and support this local farm. You'll be glad you did. I would go every day if I could. The farm is off of Pulleytown Road, easily accessible from Louisburg Road/401. I started coming here before Mother's Day and I filled my bucket easily. The middle of the week and just when they open is the best time to go. It gets pretty busy on the weekend and there is no shade. I give it 4 stars as they only take check or cash. Since this is the first u-pick farm I've been to in NC, I do not know if it is the norm. If I find out that it is, I will adjust my rating. Overall, great place to go for fresh strawberries in Wake Forest!

The Market sells pumpkins in season; produce; jams and locally made products. Then the Market cafe has ice cream and sandwiches and coffee. My husband…read moreand I are big fans of their weekly specials and are excited for their CSA to launch again next spring. We're also excited for strawberry picking since we haven't been yet! In the fall, they sell decorations such as mums, pumpkins, hay bales, and corn stalks. They accept them back as donations at the end of the season and put it to good use as fertilizer, erosion control, or treats for the cows and pigs, which we love because of its sustainability and reusability. In the winter, they host an annual Christmas Craft fair, which had a ton of amazing local vendors and was such a fun time. The Pace family is incredibly friendly and you get such a good amount of produce for the price. We always leave feeling like we got a great deal! Go pay them a visit!

The people that own the property were so kind and gracious. There is an option to just buy strawberries that are already picked but I think they're a little more expensive than just getting them yourself. Honestly, it's not that hard to pick because the plants are just saturated with berries. They're way cheaper to pick than to purchase from the store and 173648 times more delicious. There is nothing better than sun ripened fruit and this place does not disappoint. Just a little outside of Raleigh and the drive is just as beautiful as the experience on the farm.
