But it seems to have turned into more of a boutique shop for other small local sellers. I enjoyed it being more of a local thrift & find than a boutique set up for other shops. I'm local so it's nice to have a family owned gem spot where I'm not traveling 20 minutes to go somewhere for good coffee and a small spot to find something cute for the house! I'll always go back for the coffee :) Went for the blueberry festival last year and that was cool! Definitely more of a kid/family friendly event but we enjoyed the live music and the food that was available, they also had sellers set up at tables for local home made goods which was neat!

We picked two buckets and it's a set price per bucket, so you can pick as much as can fit. The strawberries were really sweet and fresh. We went during MDW weekend, which is the tail end of the season, but there were still plenty of ripe strawberries available to pick. If we ever visit NC during this time of the season again, would definitely want to come back for some more strawberries - especially since it's only 5 minutes away from my BIL's house. Apparently, there's a farm store, which I didn't know about - probably because we were in such a rush to leave because it was so hot that day.

The banana pudding Icecream was perfect for the hot day! It's sweet, fragrant, creamy, thick, and wasn't overly flavored with banana to where it tasted fake! Overall, highly recommend!

The shop sells Swiss and Belgian chocolates, other candies, and some fun merchandise too. They also have ice cream, which is nice on these hot summer days. They sell some items that they already prepacked, or you can buy them from the case. Besides just selling chocolate, they have chocolate parties where you and a group can learn about chocolate and make some of your own to take home. We were confused by their pricing but went ahead and picked quite a few prepackaged chocolates. Wanted to buy a gift certificate but the sales person did not know how to do it. We later found that none of the bags were labeled with the type of chocolate inside! We had about 8 different bags. The real disappointment is that many of the chocolates were stale. I'm embarrassed because i gifted a couple of the bags. Honestly not worth buying from this store. I really wanted to love our purchases.

There weren't people there at the time we went which I was thankful given our circumstances.
