I feel like the inside is really just ice cream, coffee, and a small little nursery area. Not sure if the drive out there was really worth it for the 15 to 20 minutes we spent out there. The banana ice cream was really awesome though and all of the employees there were very helpful and nice. The farm (orchard) is set back in the country and a great escape from the concrete jungle. Thousands of fruit trees everywhere, just awesome! Either the doughnut hut wasn't open or it was as I drove by, but I'd get back too late and it would be closed. Anyway, I finally made it over while everything was open and got a chance to see this wonderful building they've built so they can sell their goods and produce year round! They're such a nice family who are trying their best to showcase NC made products and gifts along with their produce. On every visit there's a wonderful variety to choose from. They even have homemade ice cream along with delicious mini donuts made to order by Jean herself! I understand they'll be having their grand opening for the building itself after the first of the year so stay tuned to their Facebook page for all the details!

before going to the farm i looked on their tagged in posts on instagram and saw what other people…read moreposted and it looked crowded early, so i planned to go earlier. i got there at around 8:30am ish (they open at 7am) and there were a lot of cars in the parking lot and people leaving as i got there, if you plan to go i suggest you go as early as you can. i went the first saturday they opened and there were lots of blackberries, but not a lot of ripe blueberries, the farmer told me that there weren't too many blueberries but i could take a look. i ended up with maybe less than a quart of blueberries, which i'm happy with. the rest if the gallon bucket i filled with blackberries, and after having a few i have to say the blackberries are better than what you could probably find in the grocery store and for $25ish for a gallon? better than store brought price by a long shot. i planned to get peaches as well but by the time i finished filling my bucket with blackberries they sold out of peaches. they also had some animals on the farm, some chickens and goats (i didn't see the goats myself just overheard others talking about the goats). overall i had a great time and would definitely go again.

We came after a rain and towards the end of the season, so I'd recommend making a point to go when it's dry because it made the stems rotten and fall apart. He mentioned that they open October first, but pumpkins start ripening early September so it'd be good to go earlier! Apple maps said the address was on the left but the turn in was on the right where their sign is.
