Allen will be my go to, everytime! I needed to replace my washer and dryer. When I started to prep for the new washer and dryer I couldn't turn valves off, they were stuck and felt like they were going to snap. I reached out to Allen to replace the valves, he was on a big job at the time but he was willing and able to fit me in before I receive my new washer and dryer. Since he was going to replace valves in laundry room I asked if he could replace the water and ice valve for the fridge since it was the same type of valve. I couldn't afford the patching cost, so I mentioned I will have to do my own patching. Without asking Allen went out of his way to place the cut drywall back for me perfectly to make the patching so much easier. He did not have to do that, that just shows what kind of person / business man he is. The new valves look great and are so much easier to turn off and on. Allen even serviced my water heater as a courtesy while he was working on the valves. You have definitely earned a long time customer. Thank you!

Thank you Wrench for installing our Water Heater when it started leaking and flooding and fixing up the vent as well. They also fixed up the pipe behind the water heater that was also a drip problem. I also got all the information needed on tankless water heaters, but a normal water heater is what they recommended. In the future we will be going with one of their soft water systems. Highly recommended and great same day service with text messages letting us now of their travel and arrival times.

I called Wrench re pipe because of the numerous 5 star reviews. "I was originally interested in a Navien Tankless, but got great advice with no up-sells and went with a normal water tank. Richard could not have been any nicer. He is professional, punctual & his work is impeccable. I would give him 6 stars if I could. Anyone looking for a professional, do yourself a favor and call Richard at Wrench re pipe.

I'm always wary when hiring anyone because I'm known to be cynical but Allen was actually a pleasure to work with. He was so responsive via Yelp messenger and text message like a teenager texting their BFF. That was impressive. I honestly wish all vendors were this accessible and responsive. He was able to provide me a quote over messages, but realized he doesn't service my area. I called another vendor who required an appointment first before quoting... which was also scheduled couple days later, all the while, my home's water pressure was unbearably low. Luckily, Allen reached out again and said he was able to make it out to my area. He came, he saw, he conquered... although he ended up charging more than what he originally quoted me via yelp messenger, it did require more work with soldering and cutting pipes than he anticipated and it was still $100 less than another vendor had estimated. So I happily Venmo'd him the dough for his capabilities, pride in his work, honesty and responsiveness. I highly recommend Allen. He's helped put faith back into honest professionals. He also installs water softener systems, so when I'm ready to get one, he'll definitely be on the top of my list. I also had an issue with my sink stopper and he was nice enough to look at it and tell me I needed a part at Home Depot and sent me a YouTube on how to replace it. He even linked the video at the part where I needed to watch so I didn't have to watch the entire video to figure it out. What?! Thank you Allen!

I contacted a few of the other re-pipe companies for quotes and they sent out salesmen. They couldn't answer specific questions that I had, since I to am a Contractor just not a plumber. So I knew the right questions to ask since I already did my research on the PEX pipe. So after I recieved their quotes I found Allen on Yelp and spoke to him and he sounded like he actually goes out himself along with his crew to perform the work and he does. Well he had some very satisfied customers but his price was about $500 to $900 higher than the other bids. But I have learned already that you get what you pay for. It's not worth the headache worrying that the cheap guys will probably cut corners and slip in lower quality parts or if they use actual journeymen plumbers or just day labors to do the work. To make a long story short, Allen did an awesome job and they were clean and covered things up. Thank you very much Allen.

After the water department replaced our meter what was a small leak in my front hose bib became a large leak. There was also a possible leak at water turn off in same area. I contacted Allen through website and heard back within 20 minutes. I text him picture and description of problem and he gave me 3 options to fix. I decided to replace all the pipes in area and add pressure regulator. It was all original and I wanted to fix it all up. He came out same day after finishing his current job. He added two separate shutoff valves so water can be shut off separate from house and the yard sprinklers. Very happy with his work.

Did anyone get their home repiped in pex? How was your experience with this company? On time, reliable friendly etc...

Allen just finished re-piping our house. We took several bids. It was clear that he was the best choice by far. He was cheaper, more knowledgeable, professional, and gave us all our options without trying to upsell us on anything. He finished in…

He discovered a slab leak and listed several options. He is probably one of the most "real one's" there are out there. He does not just come to do a job, but genuinely cares about each of his customers. He tries to establish a relationship with his customers by making it feel like he is taking care of a family member. He tries to get to know you and is willing to hold a conversation with you and hear you out. Plumbing issues can be very expensive and Stephen is sensitive to that. It is never a great time to get plumbing work done, but Stephen is there to talk with you, hear you out, and just be someone who genuinely cares about the customer. I will be using Jim and Son's for any plumbing needs in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone. I wish I remembered the name of the other plumber that helped him out during the job, but he was awesome as well. Again, he understood the importance of customer service and making sure that customers are left with a great experience in addition to getting the work done. 6/5 stars if I could.

That's when I searched for a local family owned company that Had good reviews. Jims was straight to the point. Stephen came out and methodically figured out what pipe the leak was coming from. He showed me proof and explained it to me. It was under the cement slab in our garage. I was not happy about the possibility of tearing out concrete. He suggested running the pipe above ground where it would be accessible. He rerouted the line and used materials that saved me money. Instead of taking several days, it was done by lunch. I cant say enough good things about these guys. They really helped me out of a scarey spot. I highly reccomend them. They are ethical, honest and don't waste time. I owe them my thanks.

Highly recommend Javier from R&R!…read more Our bathroom had 2 issues. The shower had 2 points of discharge and water came out from both ends when we turn on the water. The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had.
