Justin and Carlos just left our condo.. They delivered top notch assistance in snaking our kitchen drain. Our disposal and both kitchen sinks had been backed up for a few days with slow drainage.. I called Righty Tighty this afternoon based on their Yelp reviews and their office set up an appointment for me right away.. Justin had called to introduce himself and advised he'd be arriving in an hour. He and his associate arrived as promised, asked a few questions, checked the sink and gave us his expert opinion. He was up front in the pricing, did not have to upsell anything and was very efficient. Plumbing issues are usually always a dreaded nightmare for people who know nothing about pipes and plumbing etc.. To save money and improve efficiency we got a nice gas stove, but to use it we needed it converted to an existing gas line. Techs were absolutely professional. I think my experience was a one off. However my rating is due to lack of organization of the job and my equipment not being installed properly. I had to push to get the necessary subcontractors for them to complete the job when I was told ahead of time they had the people for it. I didn't like having to make a ton of calls and coordinate their work, on top of having to correct the actual work that I paid to have completed. Luckily my system was not damaged from improper installation. Again I do believe they normally do great work and I think the customer service is probably spot on, I just didn't have that experience. I would recommend the company, with a caution to confirm the process ahead of time and have the techs test any work done for proper function. read more

We had a slab leak and we noticed it as soon as we woke up in the morning. I panicked and started searching for plumbers on Google and Yelp and found Righty Tighty Plumbing. Lorenzo came out immediately within an hour of calling and assessed our issue. He gave us his opinion then proceeded with a leak detection. Once this was complete he located the bad line, rebuilt 2 manifolds, rerouted it back through the attic and also installed a new pressure regulator hose bib and irrigation shut off valve. I needed a expansion tank replaced when I made the appointment I was happy that they were able to come early next day and that They were able to use the tank I purchased at Lowe's,. I had already got quotes which included the expansion tank for 365 from Scotts plumbing, so when marty the plumber showed up I explained what the problem was and that I had replacement for hinge gave me a quote for $475ish my friend said are you out of your mind we are providing the tank he talked to his boss and nd brought it down to $300 we agreed only because we were from other plumbers we called that it needed to be pressurized before replacing and Marty only said yeah I can do this without explaining what needed to get done. All that needed was literally unscrew the old one and remove and replace the new one absolutely nothing else too 20 minutes that we were going to do to begin with ourselves but we encountered deception and greed from the plumbers so called honest family owned business. They could have told us right away or at least no charge us that much more than mad I'm sad about businesses always taking advantage. read more

Found Righty Tighty Plumbing randomly on my Yelp search and they saved my Sunday. A hose bib from my irrigation system decided to snap on a Sunday morning.... :-( And of course my irrigation system doesn't have its own shutoff valve. There was a leak in our dining room ceiling (right where one of the sprinkler heads was located) and we wanted to find out where it was coming from. I first called a fire sprinkler company but was advised, based on my description, that it may be the HVAC. I called our HVAC tech and they said , again based on my description of the issue, it didn't sound like an HVAC problem and that would probably be better off calling a plumber. Went on Yelp on search of a reliable plumber and Righty Tighty was one of those who responded first. The associate I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and asked for my preference as to when a plumber should take a look. I gave my response and she told me what to expect in terms of potential cost of the job. Was given a time fram of 8AM-10AM the next day. Jerry was the plumber they sent out. RT sent a text that a plumber was on the way at around 7:25AM and a little before 8AM, Jerry was here. He was very friendly and told us what he would do in terms of diagnosing the issue. In other words, all cards on the table and no surprises. He was able to find out what the issue was (leak coming from the toilet in the bathroom directly above our dining area) and proceeded to give us options. When we told him the solution we preferred, he went ahead and got the job done quickly. He even offered his direct number, in case we need any plumbing service and assured me that he will get us in the schedule, if that happens. Very good service. I will admit I didnt go shopping around for other plumbers but, I think for the job he did, it was fair.
