First, I didn't receive what I was billed for, which was pressure testing, straightening fins and paint. I have to assume they pressure tested, but the fins are worse now than when I brought it in. If they straightened them, they must have leaned something against it or dropped it afterwards because more are bent now than when I took it in. I will have to tackle this myself to undo the damage. I am not impressed because the more they are manipulated the weaker they get. On top of this, yes they painted it, but knowing it's a collector part, they used the wrong black! They used high gloss when Ford only ever used chassis black, a semi-gloss, for the muscle car period. I didn't ask for the paint, but it must have been part of the service? Either way, they did me no favors! The icing on the cake is that when I lifted it up, I found a cigarette butt embedded in the fresh paint job and there is a big paint glob that needs to be picked out. It has to be redone now. I should have looked closer when I was there, but they came highly recommended and the guy chatting me up when I dropped it off seemed to know what he was about. I didn't because I trusted that guy, who probably handed it off to someone less experienced and I trusted the referral. I'm not impressed and I do NOT recommend them.

They answered all my questions and explained what parts/services were needed in a thorough manner so there were no surprises when I came to pick up my vehicle later that day. Additionally, the price I paid was less than the one quoted over the phone which was a nice surprise that often doesn't happen when bringing your car to a mechanic. This price was also 1/3 of the price quoted from the dealership I purchased my vehicle from (2 months past the warranty expiring - just my luck). Overall great experience and would definitely recommend.

I was disappointed with the service I received from Concept-1 last month. I had to tow my Westfalia…read moreto them because of transmission problems. The assessment I got the next day was that the transmission had to be rebuilt or replaced. They didn't say directly but skirted around the fact that they didn't want to do the job and they didn't have any referrals of someone who would do the job. They essentially said that I should pull my vehicle from their shop, have it towed back to my house and start looking for a new mechanic. I found one who came to my house, took one quick look and said "There's no transmission fluid in here!" We went and got some tranny fluid, put it in, and the vehicle was operational again. It still needed work on the transmission but at least the most basic and fundamental step was taken to address the problem - put fluid in. I don't know why Concept-1 would not have done that nor how they could have made a proper assessment of the transmission problem without fluid in it! I won't be trusting them with my vehicle again.

OK, so I got a bit of a bumper scrape on my car, looks like someone backed out a little close, and scraped the paint. Just a little too deep to "buff" out. When I took it to Renu, the fellow I talked to gave me an honest quote, and his honest opinion. Being that we could fix it, but the bumper is plastic, so it wont rust, and given that my car has hail damage, fixing the paint on the bumper won't add much value, so it's just a matter of what I can live with cosmetically... Honest, and fair advice! Incidentally, I got a scratch repair kit and wax, and it is 70% better, so I suppose I won't bother fixing it, but I am super glad for their honest advice! It would have been easy enough to just take my money, but they chose to be good business citizens, and for that I am grateful! FYI, I did get a repair quote that was 10%, and 25% lower than the other two quotes I got, and the service was much friendlier, so I know where I'm headed if I decide to fix this anyway- or if any other scrapes pop up.

I wanted to get my car inspected for my insurance and it took them 3 weeks to get it done as they were always messing things up. I spoke to Arnel and told me the crack in my windshield will be fine but when I went there they told me to get it fixed. After I fixed my windshield they told me to come back by Saturday at 9am to do the inspection but the mechanic wasn't there. For the third time that I went back to this shop, they did not inspect my car. The mechanic just signed the paper without taking a look of my car and filled in the paper WRONG. So I went back the same day to get it done and explained to the owner the mistakes and I wrote down one by one what needs to get done properly. Unfortunately, the mechanic wasn't there anymore so I have to go back the next day which will be the 5th time. I went back the next morning and the paper wasn't even filled in properly that I have to tell them where they screwed up AGAIN. The owners of this shop are not professional and they are incompetent. I do not recommend this car shop and don't waste your time and money in this place. They will also blame you for their mistakes.
