Kane's Motor Cycle Shop - Sales floor

Kane's Motor Cycle Shop

Three months ago I bought my first Harley Davidson, a 2003 100th Anniversary Sportster 1200C with a…read morebunch of gorgeous custom work done to it. I've also learned that while seemingly reliable (original battery still starts every time!) they do require and deserve a bit of love as you go on. Kanes has been a reliable store for me to get the bolts I need when the ones on my bike rattle off... I guess that's just the price you pay for that sexy V-Twin torque and sound. I like to support Kane's Harley-Davidson whenever I can, not just because I have to to keep my bike on the road, but because they've been in Calgary for such a long time and have managed to grow and still stay in Inglewood. They're an important part of the community. You'll see all kinds of Harley enthusiasts at this store, from guys who have spent their whole life on the highway to the corporate suits with money to burn on a sexy new ride. They've got a great selection of clothing and motorcycle apparel that is both functional or just goes with your Harley lifestyle. We're not talking classic "biker" clothes with skulls and flames, although there are plenty if you want want them, but being a Harley fan in my late 20's I found more than enough leather jackets to put on the ol' christmas wish list.

I am pretty satisfied with this store, always helpful people. Got some parts even though my bike is…read moreolder So far got all I needed, even some leather jacket I like it

On Wednesday September 2nd I had the worst customer service experience EVER!…read more First I drove 20km to the NE Calgary Store to buy a charging dock advertised in your online flyer. I searched the store and finally had to ask an employee where it was (showing him the device on my phone). He asked for the SKU # which I found and gave to him. He said that location didn't have it, but the South store had 18. WHY ARE YOU ADVERTISING SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T HAVE AT ALL LOCATIONS? We decided to drive to the south store, as we wanted to buy a couple. We drove another 20km + to the south store. I can see why INDEED.COM has so many negative employee comments. The first lady I talked to was terse and wouldn't even look at me (customers are an inconvenience I guess). The 2nd person said "I don't know where they are," and began walking away. I asked if she could find someone that did, to which she responded by going to a computer (in a huff). She asked for the SKU # which I gave her. She said they have them and they should be on the floor, but said she would check in the back. 10 minutes later she came back and said "I can't find them." Having gone out of my way to find and purchase the item, I asked for the Managers name. She said "Owen" but didn't know his last name. I went to the front till and asked another person, who also did not know (and also was visibly perturbed by my presence) and finally asked another employee who said his last name is Frank. Your inventory control is bad, but your customer service is even worse. There were customers AND staff that were not wearing face masks properly or at all. I can see why your reviews are generally negative and existing and former staff hate(d) working there. I have purchased a number of things from your store that I found on REBEE (online flyer)- I will never enter your store again. When retail in general is hurting so bad, AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS!? WOW. I will also encourage friends, family and others to NEVER shop at Princess Auto again. I am fiercely customer service oriented and this could/should have been easily addressed. So disappointed.
