Hello Everyone, I ve been around a few years.... CEO. CFO, President, Chairman of the Board, HR leader.....yesterday Saturday Dec 10 2016 I was forced to search around Calgary at a number of the more 'notable' Tire establishments. It was a snowy Saturday yesterday... - 21 degrees... my vehicle blew off a tire a few hours before leavning me stranded most of the night Friday/Saturday am.... coming to Calgary from up north....anyways... I needed some quick help... some compassion....I thank God and Jesus I was able to find AJ at Good Tire Calgary. This is a man who lives life AND BUSINESS from the HEART !!!! He's not just about making money and hiding behind company procedures and policies.... AJ is the only Business man in the Calgary Tire business scene that I could find who actually cares, and cares deeply about the welfare of his customers - the others in Calgary are not even on the radar screen compared to the high pedestal AJ belongs on. This is one business where the name of the business 'Good' is actually truly the way he runs his businesses, AJ is a very humble man but I could not help right the truth about this man. This is the type of man that makes me want to live life, gives me hope in humanity - amid the stresses of the affluence of North America, the silos of independence our youth are shrinking away from interaction into in the cyber world of cell phones, ipads, pcs - it is so redeeming of spirit especially at Christmas to encounter a truly wonderful exemplary Canadian citizen! Highly recommend. I can't say enough good things about Good Tire!! They saved the day for me and I found my new go-to tire shop! I can't say enough great things about Good Tire. Blew a tire today around 11am downtown (on a Sunday) and found every tire shop closed today except Good Tire. When I called Nassim (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) he was to the point, confident, and honest. He assured right away that he'd have the car all ready to go by 2pm. He was done even earlier than that, with me driving home by 145. Nassim not only completed my last minute tire change faster than he promised, he took the time to explain why my tires had been going flat. Turns out the previous shop I had been taking my tires to had not been doing their due diligence in their changes and resulted in wear and corrosion on my rims. After telling me this, Nassim told me when he saw this he double checked my other tire and saw the same issue which he fixed, I assume due to the price, free of charge. He really seems like he's an honest guy that genuinely cares about the work he does and in the quality for his customers. This above and beyond for me is what has sold me for making Good Tire my go-to tire shop from now on. On top of all of this, the price was such a bargain. I was shocked considering everything that Nassim did; accepting a drop in tow, fast response, quality tire repair, and free advice and expertise. Excellent guys working here. Small local shop with very friendly staff. I was surprised at their good service level. Its beyond my expectation. My tire on my awd lexus popped and I was driving on the rim. I called them and they searched for a single tire with my specifications within 1 hour and i dropped by to replace it. Very good service and quality. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. From the time the tire was damaged to new installation was 30min. Kal Tire had to order all new 4 tires to balance it for AWD. I only needed one tire with a specific tread wear to balance it in my lexus SUV. Good tire searched for the appropriate replacement and called me within 20 min to come by for replacement. Bonus is that they open until 7pm on Saturday. Go and see them. Priced well and instant service. I will be seeing them for future tires most definitely! read more

I'd like to commend Good Tire and their staff on a job well done. I have an all wheel drive Nissan requiring a single tire. I ran over a screw which pierced the side. Unfortunately, it couldn't be repaired, and so a new tire was required. The bad news was I was told I'd have to get 4 because the vehicle was an all wheel-drive. No shop would replace the single tire. I didn't want to replace the entire set because tread life is about 70%. I called Good Tire and had me bring my vehicle by their shop. They were open on a Sunday, which was really helpful. A technician was able to measure and match my set with a very similar tire they had in stock. I saved a bunch of money and they had me out in like 20 minutes. I'll be coming back, thanks again guys! read more

The one young guy that goes by the name of "Junior"- is an ignorant, cheap, lying piece of work. He treats his staff like shit, and is too lazy to get in there and do work himself. Not only did he try to swindle us (He was charging us outrageous amounts for tires that where in no need of replacing. We just lost some air, no nails- and this guy- tried to charge us the amount to actually repair all the tires). We witnessed him yelling at employees, swearing, and all around UNPROFESSIONAL. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGIN- AND HAVE REDIRECTED ALL FAMILY TO POORBOY TIRE! read more

An Emergency in BC came calling and I needed my winter tires installed that day. My dealership offered me a four day wait and 200 bucks. I called Good Tire and they took me in immediately and charged me 50 dollars. I did notice that one of my summer tires had a screw in it, and as I was talking with the technicians about it, a service tech came by, took the tire from me and they repaired it while I was standing there. Great service and helpful staff. They get the job done same day, instead of booking you in a up to week later like other places. I got some of the best prices on winter tires, and got them installed with ease. The place was full when I got there and the staff was still timely and professional. They're skilled with overall car mechanics as well, so you its great for in and out visits. Definitely consider swinging past here if you're looking for fast and efficient service. read more

Thanks AJ for getting me back on the road again .. safely! The used winter tires one of the owners found for me were WAY better than anything else I looked for elsewhere. I just showed up at 9am and they were able to install the tires quickly, knew their inventory well (since I have a 1999 Tercel and not the easiest vehicle to find excellent tires for). The guys here always treat my wife and I well. We bring both our vehicles here. They're always taken care of and looked after at Good Tire. When I need a tire change or quick fix. They're open everyday which is helpful especially Sunday. Which is the first time I came here with an emergency flat repair. Clean place buy too many tires! I never call for an appointment, I just drive in and I'm usually out in 30 minutes. read more

I came here with a set of tires that my buddy sold to me and I was in a really tight spot. The guy at Good Tires not only gave me a great deal but he offered to buy my old tires, since they were still in great condition. He happily answered a few questions that I had and he swapped out my tires right then while I waited. I needed my winter tires put on ASAP for a run into BC. Not only did the great guys at Good Tire say no problem, we can do that right now, they are one of the only places that understand people work during the day and are therefore open until 7pm! I dropped of my vehicle and they had my tires on in less than half an hour and at a fantastic price! I will go to Good Tire for every service they offer that I need. read more

The folks at this tire shop are extremely helpful. They have an extensive selection of tires. I recall last Christmas I was in a pinch and I had forgotten to have the tires checked before leaving for a trip to Edmonton. They got me in right away and checked my tires out and ensured my safety and peace of mind. I highly recommend these guys for their courteous and prompt service. read more

Had a tire burst on a Sunday of all days. My wife called Good Tire and the associate knew right away that he had two tires available. I popped over right away and they replaced two tires and advised me that the other two could use replacing soon. This place is Awesome!!! They offer Excellent off-road tires that hands down Perform on/off highway and Amazing Off-road! Had all kinds sizes in stock 35" and above! Installed within a hour and a half of stepping in the door!!! I'll definitely becoming back for my next set! read more
