On Wednesday September 2nd I had the worst customer service experience EVER!…read more First I drove 20km to the NE Calgary Store to buy a charging dock advertised in your online flyer. I searched the store and finally had to ask an employee where it was (showing him the device on my phone). He asked for the SKU # which I found and gave to him. He said that location didn't have it, but the South store had 18. WHY ARE YOU ADVERTISING SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T HAVE AT ALL LOCATIONS? We decided to drive to the south store, as we wanted to buy a couple. We drove another 20km + to the south store. I can see why INDEED.COM has so many negative employee comments. The first lady I talked to was terse and wouldn't even look at me (customers are an inconvenience I guess). The 2nd person said "I don't know where they are," and began walking away. I asked if she could find someone that did, to which she responded by going to a computer (in a huff). She asked for the SKU # which I gave her. She said they have them and they should be on the floor, but said she would check in the back. 10 minutes later she came back and said "I can't find them." Having gone out of my way to find and purchase the item, I asked for the Managers name. She said "Owen" but didn't know his last name. I went to the front till and asked another person, who also did not know (and also was visibly perturbed by my presence) and finally asked another employee who said his last name is Frank. Your inventory control is bad, but your customer service is even worse. There were customers AND staff that were not wearing face masks properly or at all. I can see why your reviews are generally negative and existing and former staff hate(d) working there. I have purchased a number of things from your store that I found on REBEE (online flyer)- I will never enter your store again. When retail in general is hurting so bad, AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS!? WOW. I will also encourage friends, family and others to NEVER shop at Princess Auto again. I am fiercely customer service oriented and this could/should have been easily addressed. So disappointed.

This Part Source should not be allowed to sell brake components. They sold me 2 different sets of…read morebrake drums for my pick up by the brand of OE that were out of round and poorly machined. Driving on the highway with these drums caused horrible vibration which is dangerous and distracting. I can't believe they are allowed to sell this kind of quality in Canada. On our way to Edmonton, AB I stopped at this store to see if I can rent an OBD2 scanner because my older model OBD2 scanner was outdated and was not working when connected to my vans ECM. I was greeted by a few young gentlemen over the counter and felt welcome to be in their store. I'm surprised that the folks here doesn't act like a KNOW IT ALL MASTER TECH. Anyway, the young man who help me out suggested some OBD2 scanners which are out of my budget of $60 for a simple trouble code retrieval and deletion. Well, instead of him pushing for a sale he explained to me in great details of each device and why it cost more. He also suggested a competition store across the street and stated if they don't have a cheaper device that I am always welcome to comeback to his store. Well, the other store has a cheaper version $54 and I ended up buying it and I erased the trouble code right on the spot. Thanks to the good guys at partsource, you guys are awesome!!! I apologized, I always forget names of good people...

I was sad when the 'check engine' light in my car went on, but a little happier when my boyfriend told me Auto Value had a device that will tell you what is wrong with it. I guess you just plug it in to your car somewhere and it gives you a code which tells you the reason the light is on. Well, I stopped by this Auto Value on my way to work the other to ask if they could help me out. Not only was I ignored at first, but I would swear that I was almost invisible to them. When I finally was welcomed to the counter I told them what I was there for. I was told that I would have to wait while the guy answered a couple of phone calls. He took someone off hold and started talking about something about his house. This means, he told me I would have to wait while he made a personal call. Not cool. Then, when he finally got off the phone he asked me if I knew where the plug-in was and seemed pissed when I didn't. He had to look it up. After finally finding the spot, he came out to my car with me and tried to plug it in. He tried only two or three times to get the device plugged in and then gave up, telling me it wouldn't work. Not only was he not helpful, but he was flat out rude to me! I realize that I was asking for something for free, but isn't that their job? Aren't they supposed to help people fix and upgrade their cars? I guess not at this location.
