They even left a note in the inspection about "Clutch Performance", the clutch is only 2 months old and had ZERO ISSUES before they drove the car. Additionally, they tried to tell me I needed all new brakes and rotors when mine are more than perfect. Overall, I would never return to this shop and would advise you do not come here especially if you drive a manual transmission.

They were able to correct a problem that we had with rims and tires on my BMW that no one else was able to solve. Our vehicle runs smooth and true now. They've always performed work on time, as quoted, and properly. The only complaint I've ever had is when I brought my vehicle there and a customer took my keys by accident. They had to call them up, and go get them from the guy while I waited an extra hour. That totally sucked, but it was on honest mistake and they made up for it by giving me a discount on my next repair. Seriously - if you want an HONEST shop that isn't going to screw you by telling you your car needs something it doesn't or by taking their time to perform an easy task, try these guys out. I brought my vehicle to this shop for repairs following an independent out-of-province inspection…read more I was quoted over $2,500 for the work, which included a power steering pump replacement and a wheel alignment. Neither of these items was listed as a failure on the official government inspection report. The shop attempted to inflate the bill with several questionable charges. They EVEN quoted 1.5 hours of labor to install a seat that simply clicks into the seat brackets. When I asked about light bulb repairs, they claimed it could take hours to check the wiring and suggested there might be complex electrical issues. (Without even changing a bulb yet) Additionally, they charged me an $80 inspection fee for doing nothing and a $48 charge for a minor brake adjustment that I never authorized. When I moved my vehicle to an honest shop, I received a quote for the exact same required repairs for $1,400 including the unauthorized repairs this shop was claiming they needed to do. It was still far less than the quote I received at OUR MECHANIC. Troy the manager seemed to be really trying hard to bolster the costs of everything and mentioned over 10 times the fact that I had gotten an out of province inspection done somewhere other than his shop which seemed to be problematic for him. I felt pressured and was repeatedly told I should have used their facility for the inspection and that they would have prioritized my vehicle if I had come to them for the out of province inspection as well. Which led me to get a creeped out feeling that they were predatory and dishonest. Glad I saved myself so much money by going somewhere else.

I didn't purchase that day, and did a little more price comparison and they were the same as other shops. I chose a Swagman model, Candaian product made in Penticton, BC. I returned a few days later. He installed it using my ebike and made the adjustments and got me to hands on do everything so that when I was on my own I knew exactly how it all worked. I returned today to ask another question and he demonstrated for me. It was such an awesome customer service experience. 10/10 highly recommend! Kudos to Darren!!

We were told by Kal tire…read more /YYC Edmonton Trail- that our job was going to cost $1400 ( originally went in for an alignment ....and they proceeded to list off more work to be done including that we required ball joints that had been replaced less than a month ago ! ) After thoroughly explaining and physically showing to us what the problems were, everything was fixed fast and efficiently, and we were out of there in less time than it took for us to sit in Kal Tires' waiting room! ...(& for KalTire to be rude and try to overcharge us by over $1000.00!) I was…read morecompletely taken for a ride on an alignment and the car came out performing worse then before I took it in! I got them to redo the alignment and it was just as bad! They have no idea what they are doing and the owner is a complete prick and absolutely useless. All he could do was get angry back at me and tell me "You can't be pleased" They ruined my car for the time being as it was fine before I took it to them. I finally took it back to Volkswagen dealer where the alignment was performed PROPERLY and my car has never run better. I am doing my best to tell everyone I know to never go to this place, they should be shut down and thrown in jail.
