Blue Planet has apparently been in downtown Chandler for many years, and I'm honestly shocked I've never noticed it before because I'm in the area all the time. The shop is full of unique items, many of them made by local artists and members of the community. I'm only giving two stars today because I personally know some vendors that had just settled in after setting up and decorating their space- only to have them told, that Painted Tree is closing and you have to get all your stuff out asap. Understandingly, most vendors were shocked and upset. This follows other recent stores that closed featuring handcrafted goods- Ivy and Sage Lifestyle Company in Gilbert also closed their doors Feb 21st and Reel Deals on HIgley Road shut their doors too. I feel for all the hard working vendors who put their love into creating their products and now have to scramble to find new ways to show and sell their work.
