Decided to check this place out once I realized it wasn't another pita place. Got the Beef Shawarma wrap. It was pretty good. Nice spice and decent amount of food. This is my first time having shawarma and I think I prefer the spice/flavor of a Gyro but I still enjoyed my meal. Staff was great and dining area was clean. We came here after my daughter tried it out. She liked it so figured we should try it. I had a chicken wrap. It was good and big. My wife had the falafel. I want to go back and try the gyro. The have a verticals rotisserie for the meats. Looks good I also tried the hummus it too was very good. If your looking for something a little different and fresh it is good. We came here with the kiddos while we had other errands to run in the same plaza (read: stock up on booze for the holiday weekend at Total Wine). We all love middle eastern food, and this restaurant didn't disappoint. Even though we pulled in a 5:30 and they were closing in an hr, the folks here served us heaping hot plates of falafel and lamb gyros, with plenty of both those things, as well as hummus, pita, roasted eggplant, rice, potatoes and a tart cucumber salad. Everything was delicious! The roasted eggplant was a bit greasy and sweet: melt in your mouth delicious. The falafel balls were on the small side, and maybe not as fluffy as I would like, but their hummus was awesome, with lots of garlic, and plenty of tahini drizzled on top. Came to Reno from the Bay Area and was tired of eating buffet and casino food. We wanted to grab lunch on our way to Virginia City. Picked this place because of its good reviews and we were not disappointed! The Kefta wrap was BOOOOOMB! I am a pretty big beef snob, we raise our own beef, and I can say that the ground beef they use is spot on delicious. Tender and flavorfull. The pita used in the wrap was well done as well, not powdery or too thick like I have bad elsewhere. And that sauce.... delicious! We are back in California now, but we will remember this place for future trips. read more

I new this would happen! Came at 2 pm everything was sub par. They had just served a large party ( I think family) and everything left was NOT char broiled it was limp and cold NOTHING like my past experience or two. I kind of have to laugh at the reviews here with people saying this is authentic Middle Eastern food, but I mean it is Reno- one giant suburb with a mix of white bread people and drug addicts so..... Had the chicken shawarma combo. Chicken was too dry. The side potatoes were really greasy. It was not worth paying $3 extra to get a small cup for soda and okay potatoes. Really really bad food. Nowhere remotely close to any authentic food whatsoever. Falafel looked/tasted like from frozen section and just microwaved. Hummus didn't look like hummus at all. This has to be the best Greek in town. I've tried 5 or 6 places over the last few months, and this one makes the top of my list. Lucky me, it's close to work. Went with a coworker for lunch. We had planned to each get a gyro wrap (lamb), but at the owner's suggestion, split that and a shawarma wrap (chicken and beef). Both were sooooo good. The meats were super flavorful. My favorite part was the sauce on the lamb - I think it was tzatziki, but better than any I've had, mixed with feta. I had a big order and asked him to repeat the order back to me once I was done and he said "No I cannot, you've kept me on the phone for too long". My daughter and I visited for a late lunch this afternoon, and had the Meze salad platter and ordered some extra falafel. O.M.G. Sometimes Mediterranean food can be bland, but this food was super flavorful with yummy fresh citrus notes throughout. The grape leaves were delicious, the chunk of feta that came with the platter was epic, the eggplant was flavorful, the tabouli was so yummy I got some to take home for later. Hummus was slightly chunky the way I like it and left no doubt it was freshly made, and the falafel was made fresh, full of flavor and steaming hot. Although we are not vegetarian, we hadn't wanted a heavy meal and didn't miss meat at all, although I look forward to trying it in the future. This place is a hidden gem, we will definitely be back! My bf brought home beef shawarma? And I was only supposed to have a bite to try it but ended up eating most of his lunch. It was so delicious! The veggies were fresh and tasty, beef was lean, the pita wrap soft and the garlic paste! Oh my god, the garlic paste... It was an amazing meal. This place has the best authentic Lebanese food around - and this is coming from my Armenian fiancé The only thing I'm sad about is that the restaurant closes at 6:30pm so I haven't been able to make it back to Wrap It Up. As soon as I'm able, though, I plan on trying different items from the menu. Finding good mediterranean food around Reno has been challenging. I stopped into this place on a whim to try their gyro. Since I was rushing, I decided to try their wrap sandwich. They really are pushing the chicken gyro but that wasn't what I was looking for so I ordered the lamb. The flavor was pretty good and it was portable but the price was WAY high for the small amount of meat they put on it. Almost $10 for a sandwich with 4 small strips of meat?!?! I was a little confused when I opened up my gyro. Instead of flavorful slices of meat what I found was ground chuck beef, the same meat I cook up for hamburgers at my job at a burger restaurant. I had ordered a beef and lamb gyro and ended up with hamburger wrapped up. How very disappointing. read more

This is my only Mediterranean eatery in the area. It had amazing service,great food, and even gave my child a free drink just because. While I waited for my food I could see the mom and pop operators in the back with smiles on their faces working and laughing. Every part of my experience with this eatery was nothing but awesomeness. Best gyros and Mediterranean food we have found in town! Their combo platter is awesome and is a lot of food for $14. It comes with chicken, gyro meat, falafel, rice, stuffed grape leaf, little cucumber salad, humus, garlic sauce, taziki sauce, pita bread, baklava and drink. But I especially like the Greek platter, the wraps, the shirazi salad. And I am fairly sure that their lentil soup cures anything. It's the best I have had anywhere. We ordered Saturday lunch for the studio from Wrap It Up and they did not disappoint. I myself had the falafel wrap... twas amazing! Also ordered the sampler tray which was also glorious. The flavors were on point. Everyone at the studio was thoroughly impressed as well and it's hard to please a bunch of tattoo artists, hahaha. The service was great, we phoned in a large order and it was done when they said it would be and everything came back fresh and awesome.
