My BF & I appreciated that it wasn't just 36 holes of what I call 'straight shots'. The courses actually had some obstacles and turns in the course. Still kid friendly I think, but also a little more 'challenging' for adults making it more enjoyable. Compared to the other 2 courses though, there aren't as trash cans around on the course. Not a big deal just a little inconvenient. Lastly, I don't know what makes it different, but the balls here move so easy! Almost too easy lol My BF and I felt like we were barely tapping the ball and it'd go way further than expected! Again, compared to the other courses when you would barely tap the ball it would barely move. So, a little bit of a learning curve. Or maybe there was just something in the air that day.

Originally we walked over to get some Mexican food next door, but one of the owners of the winery was there and we got into a conversation with him about the wine. He made their wines sound so unique and tasty, we decided to try! As first timers, we were walked through the experience of wine tasting. We did the flight of 6 for $12 + you get a souvenir glass! We like sweet, so we did 4 sweet and 2 dry. My favorite was the "Swan Beach Sunset", which has a black cherry taste and pairs SO good with dark chocolate. What a treat! My boyfriend loved the seasonal "Frost" which is very sweet. Great experience. Thank you!

The Winery is owned by an older couple and they were so sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful. For $15, you get to try 6 wines and you can pick off a diverse menu of sweet or dry white, rose, or reds. It comes with chocolate and goldfish too! AND you get a little souvenir cup. Such a deal!! They have outdoor seating or you can drink inside. They have a few games inside as well. We ended up buying 2 bottles of wine Would love to come back here again when we're back in OBX and if you like to try wine, I highly recommend. Each bottle was about $22.

Eric and Robert are so fun and friendly, very no-BS guys who tell it to you straight. They made the class super fun and we were always laughing. Given the time of year, there were only 3 of us in class so it was nearly 1-on-1 instruction. I learned so much! I came back the next day to pick up my mirror and was stunned at how beautiful it came out! Y'all got me into a new hobby! Thank you for such an awesome class!

I stumbled upon Absolutely Outer Banks a handful of years ago and I was impressed with the selection of locally made arts and crafts. Ever since, this is my go to spot for legitimate and tasteful Outer Banks souvenirs. In addition to locally made items they also have some vintage items and even some new items for sale. One item that this store specializes in is really cool resin windows that are unique and exude happiness. Absolutely Outer Banks has artwork in all mediums and in all price points. They have jewelry, wood signs, candles, prints, glass work, textiles, metal work, etc.  On my most recent visit I enjoyed looking at a vintage pin ball machine and eyeing up the beautiful array of Fiestaware. There is plenty of opportunity for ooohhhing and ahhhing.  The owner is super friendly so that adds to the overall great experience. Between birthday parties and playing laser tag it's always been a good place to waste time on a lazy day. Their food is ok. The basics of pizza and soda, we've attended birthdays just never held one so I can't say much for the prices on that. As far as the games go they're mainly about 3-4 credits each. They have a pinball machine area in the back and now have old gaming systems as well like Pac-Man. Those cost tokens though so I'd advise bringing cash to change out for tokens. They really haven't updated the games much besides a few here or there. A few of the games really should be updated and maintained better but otherwise it's a nice little arcade...except their ticket to prize comparison in prices. Their items are extremely overly high for what you're getting. I wouldn't go for the prizes, just fun. Which is the only reason I have them 3/5 instead of 4/5 stars.
