He is very responsive and always seemed to be able to find a time to meet with me to check out a house. He did a great job walking me through the process of selling my first home, and made it easy to shop for the new one. You can do a lot of house shopping online with the various websites, but you need someone to let you in who can accomodate your schedule! Dave was incredible in that regard. It also helps that I ended up selling my condo for way more than I expected and also was able to find the perfect place to move to. I was very happy with the efforts he undertook to sell my condo. I felt like by the end of our staging process it was almost as if we were selling his house, he seemed to care so much. If any issue came up and I was unavailable to handle it, he handled it for me. There were several occasions when he went above and beyond, and did things that honestly I should've handled myself. I'm definitely going to recommend him to any friend looking to buy or sell in this area, and thankful that I found him.

Having worked with many realtors in the past, through many real estate transactions in multiple states, I have dealt with realtors that span the spectrum in terms of skills and service. Most realtors posses great skill sets, but Sarah posses all the skills a great realtor needs. To summarize Sarah, she is a closer. She fully succeeded in getting me to the finish line with a sales process that encountered all kinds of difficult obstacles. There is no way I would have closed on this property with another realtor, this was a super complex transaction that Sarah navigated expertly. Throughout the entire process Sarah efficiently utilized her polished tool kit. Three qualities that shined through the greatest: *Amazing negotiation skills *Charisma that allowed her to connect with all parties involved *Diligent and super fast worker...I never felt like she was working with anyone else during the entire process, I had her full attention, and when I needed her help she was a text away, day or night. I can go on and on, but instead I'll just say if you truly want to get a property, and not lose out on getting what you desire in this competitive market, I would highly recommend you work with Sarah.

Outstanding Real Estate Agents!…read more I had the pleasure of working with Dan (and briefly with Steven for a showing when Dan was out of town) for my recent house purchase in San Francisco, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Dan's deep knowledge of the SF real estate market is truly impressive. He provided invaluable insights into pricing and market trends, and possible improvements and associated costs for houses that I was interested in buying, which helped me make informed decisions. Steven is also amazing. He drew my attention to a crooked kitchen isle in the house that he was showing me. Dan and Steven are both very honest and have their clients' best interest at heart. They ask the right questions and observe your reactions in house showings such that they quickly understand what you are exactly looking for. That is how Dan found my dream home for me in a short period of time! Dan is incredibly kind, patient, and friendly. He consistently went above and beyond, working long hours and providing comparison reports, disclosures, and offers, even late into the night. She carefully listened to all of our needs and wants in a home and was able to help us pick the perfect place! She was there at 11 PM when we decided we wanted disclosures on our place and she was there at 6:30 AM when we needed additional paperwork for closing. Regarding review from apparent lawyer, JS, representing tenants, click on the KQED link in his…read morereview (which he totally misrepresents) . JS "forgets" to mention that Brown was working for Federal Marshalls, who had seized the property from a criminal owner and hired Brown and directed Brown on action to take. (Really? Methinks it just might be an impt dtl to include if you're honest.) Making out like Brown is some yahoo who flaunts the law, isn't true. Brown was doing what he was hired to do.

If the reviewer below thinks this review is "odd" then read the documented evidence here:…read morehttps://www.kqed.org/news/11727571/u-s-marshals-poised-to-evict-oakland-tenants-in-potentially-illegal-action "The notices also asked the tenants to notify Kevin Brown, a local real estate agent with Better Homes Realty, when they vacated the property. After Feb. 24, the notices explain, locks will be changed and any possessions left behind will be thrown away. A similar eviction notice was provided to tenants living in the 7th Avenue building." ""I'm glad the tenants came to us rather than taking these threatening notices at face value," said Zaneri, who has advised the tenants that they have the right to stay in their homes. "State law protections don't allow any landlord to do these sorts of things" "throwing away" tenant belongings (or otherwise moving belongings out of the unit or preventing the owners of said belongings from accessing them) is criminal THEFT in CA in ANY situation. Changing the locks when the tenant has not agreed to the move-out, under almost any circumstances, is also illegal. Also regarding Kevin Brown's "great reputation," see his other business's yelp review, you will see many reviews to the contrary. Just a little over 1-star based on many reviews: https://www.yelp.com/biz/brown-management-company-oakland gee, I wonder why he started a new business name... Very entitled to think that tenants don't have the right to review realtors who work directly with tenants and who also need to understand tenant law in order to effectively do their jobs. Also, there are many laws in Oakland that regulate owner move-in evictions. It's not as simple as just "asking" and the tenant automatically agreeing. There are buyouts, rent control restrictions, and proof that the owner or a family member is actually living there. Sorry if you feel that's "unfair." And anyway, this wasn't an "owner occupied move in," this was Kevin Brown illegally threatening tenants with rent control/just cause protection that he would steal their belongings and lock them out of their own home, and again, NOT for an ellis act eviction!

The listing agent for a home we wanted to see wasn't available, so he asked Martin, his colleague at Corcoran, to show us the property. One of the first things that stood out to me was his integrity. The house had recently come back on the market, and when I asked about the previous offer, he politely explained that he couldn't disclose that information. It wasn't even his listing, but he treated the showing as if it were. We ended up talking about renovations, what would actually add value, and what wasn't worth the investment. He was candid, thoughtful, and clearly wasn't trying to sell us on anything. I remember telling my wife afterward that there was just something about his energy that I really liked. He followed up, gave us space, and never pressured us. Buying a house in the Bay Area can feel like...a lot. Especially when it's your first. The online searches, open houses, money, paperwork, offers, waiting, and the possibility that things could fall through. Now that I'm on the other side, I can say from experience that your team (agent and lender) makes all the difference in the world. I'm generally a pretty level-headed person, but even I found myself getting caught up in the excitement of certain properties. We lost our first offer on a house we loved (to your typical Bay Area big cash buyer), then went through a stretch where nothing really excited us, and we really questioned if we were in over our heads. Martin's calm presence was invaluable. He never discouraged our excitement or dismissed our disappointment. He just had this incredible ability to keep us grounded, help us maintain perspective, and keep our heads in the game. Our criteria changed more than once despite us "knowing exactly what we wanted", and he never made us feel difficult or rushed. I've never told Martin this, but one thing I especially appreciated was how he treated my wife. In conversations involving money or major decisions, I've noticed how often people instinctively direct their attention to me, as though I'm somehow the default decision maker. Frankly, I find that deeply disrespectful. My wife is my partner, and her voice carries every bit as much weight as mine. That's not something I should ever have to explain or advocate for. With Martin, I never did. He gave her questions, concerns, and preferences the exact same attention, consideration, and respect as my own. He treated us as equal partners from the very beginning, and I'm positive that played a significant role in us finding a home we both absolutely love. I can't begin to articulate how much I learned from him or how confident I felt (and still feel) about our purchase. After sharing our experience with other homeowners, seeing their reactions, and hearing their stories, I've realized just how fortunate we were. Had we not met Martin, I don't know what we'd be doing right now, but I for sure wouldn't be writing this from my own home. Beyond all of that, he's just a really good guy. Thoughtful, funny, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and someone we really enjoyed spending time with. I honestly can't think of a single piece of constructive criticism, and I do not say that lightly. As long as Martin is working in real estate and we're in the Bay Area, he'll be our agent. Without hesitation. We couldn't be happier with our home, and I'm incredibly grateful that a random showing turned into such an amazing partnership.
