I went through two agents before finding David, and I'm glad I didn't settle before meeting him! I started looking in December 2019, right before things got crazy and my first real estate agent assigned to me via Redfin did not give me the time of day and was really unresponsive. I thought maybe he's just used to sending out automated messages and I felt like small fish being a single person trying to buy something in my small budget. We probably toured at least 20 homes together, made around 5 offers and finally got one in May. The whole process took around 3-4 months. David was very patient and helpful throughout the process, and here are the things that I really liked about David: 1. He listens - he asked us about what we liked constantly to get a sense of what we're looking for so that he can help us assess homes. 2. He doesn't behave like a typical sales person - as a first time home-buyer, I really didn't want to feel pressured or pushed into buying a home. David never pushed us in any direction, even though the market has gone insane and it felt like we were never going to be able to buy any home that we wanted. 3. He gives great advice on things to watch out for - David did his homework in reading the disclosures for homes that we toured, and we really appreciated his due diligence. 4.
