Ok so I bought a groupon for this place for a chocolate Brazilian wax. Now I'm a halfrican and I have a thick, curly, glorious mane. Now you can properly imagine my nether regions. I was a slave to my razor but the ingrown hairs, skin darkening, and cuts (have you ever cut your gooch before???) made me question my habits. I have gotten Brazilians before, however, the sheer pain would make me beg the lord to take me. Additionally I would be red and swollen for a few days. Now WOW truly has earned its name, Bc my technician waxed me smooth as the day I entered the world. It was painful yes but completely bearable. No swelling, and minimal redness. Quick in and out service 2/3 times ive gone, I haven't had to wait. Most recently i got a leg and bikini wax. The bikini wax was the first I've ever done. The lady I had had NO MERCY. Just ripped away my matured womanhood. Even when I was about to cry she didn't care, it was just "I can't wax you if your tense" - who isn't tense when they have hundreds of hairs being ripped out at once?! I came here through a Groupon for a chocolate Brazilian and was pleasantly surprised! This is a NO FRILLS wax. The waxing table is against a wall and the space is small. You will have to out your legs in awkward positions. You will not be offered any water, champagne or canapés while listening to sounds of classical music. Jyoti (my waxer) was quick, thorough, and efficient. I was told to lay down and remove clothing (she left the room), she knocked and re-entered, she quickly striped off hair (front and back), I was handed a paper towel with oil and allowed to re-dress. Terrible experience. I've went to several places for a Brazilian wax before and this was one of the worst experiences. First, they upcharged me for a "better wax" and then continued to make inappropriate comments about my body as they began to wax. The wax they recommended did not "hurt less" as they said, the wax was actually extremely hot as I told them several times. The woman giving me the wax just proceeded to ask me if I have gotten waxed before and kept pressing me to come back to their salon. Super painful and unpleasant. The lady took 5 clients before I finally complained. She was rough with me. I got a brazilian wax. This was the most painful wax I ever experienced. Ok so I used to frequent this place for waxing. After 4 years of not waxing I came back for waxing and "facial". The facial was TOTALLY NOT worth it. There were no extractions and I fear I'll have some type of reaction. I specified that my skin was sensitive. The waxing was poorly done. This place is getting too popular for it's own good. I have been coming here for years and I finally think it's time for me to hang up the jersey. Every time I come here whether its mid day, weekend, afternoon, evening (I think you can catch the drift) it doesn't matter this place is packed. What drives people here is the price but the quality of service has declined greatly. All they care about is waxing you up and getting you out ASAP. They rush and dont take their time which leads to not doing the job properly. This is a definite no go for me. I dont want to leave with stray hairs anywhere on my body after getting a wax. I have been coming here for years and continue to make the trek even though I no longer work in the area. I've had the chocolate, sugar, blue, and CBD waxes and each time they are low cost and quick. I used to come here a while ago. Since I became a Licensed Wax Tech, I usually wax myself but today I decided to come here and let someone else wax me. Let me tell you.. THE worst wax I've ever had and I won't be coming back. The lady who waxed me here today was all over the place. She applied the wax incorrectly with the wooden spatula, applied wax in the wrong direction which increases the chances of me getting a bunch of ingrowns and you don't need a license to know that. Not to mention the rooms are unsanitary. I haven't been waxed in over a month and I have short hairs left over. I'm 1000% dissatisfied. I also noticed they use wax rollers here which is disgusting. I love this place!! Came with a Groupon about two years and I've been back several times since then for a super cheap $15. I love getting waxed here because it seriously takes less than ten minutes, sometimes five depending on who you get. Jazz is so great! If you have the option of asking for her, do it! She gave the best wax that I've gotten there, although Rimpy is also awesome. The place is nice and clean, and though the waxing rooms are kind of small, it doesn't really matter because it's over so quickly. Pretty much every time I've been here I've called on the day of and just asked if they had availability and they've always been able to see me quickly and efficiently! I think the longest I've ever waited was like twenty minutes and that was when I was a walk-in and gave them no warning at all with three girls ahead of me. Every other time I swear I can be in and out of there in under twenty minutes. I got my eyebrows threaded once just for the hell of it, and I think I found out that threading is not for me, but if you ARE a person who likes that, I will say that they left my eyebrows shaped really nicely and I remember being really impressed that she (Rimpy) really got every single little blonde hair around my eyebrows, not just the ones that stood out. I have been coming here for about 5 years now and I usually go for eyebrow tint and thread, eyelash tint, and upper lip thread. Recently I went for my first ever Brazilian and Roop made me feel sooo comfortable especially given my nervousness. I've been stepping out of my comfort zone and decided to do more services with them then just my typical tintings and threadings because their prices are just simply so amazing.
