I was at the business next door and had time to chat with her and I liked her attitude. I then have been taking in all my dresses for her to make into elongated blouses. She also knows how to take a sweatshirt (nice ones) and cut off the neck, arms and lower part of the sweatshirt to create a hole different kind of look. My clothes are now new to my wardrobe. Love it! Another thing that caught my eye with Me-Me was during our first chat, I noticed she was folding and pinning shirts for someone. As though it was just bought from a store. I asked her why she went through all that and she replied with a smile and said, 'This is what my customer likes'. WOW! LOVE THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was told when the account was set up that I would receive a 10% discount on all orders. I was told tough and the owner sets the prices. I was also told that "ladies clothes are expensive". I really have no choice but to go here but always get anxiety before going in to pick up clothes because I know the cost/price will be over $10 per item. Today it was $163 for 13 items. It is not really the money that bothers me but the attitude by all that work there. The owner's son just came in and he is a hard worker. There are two times marked Fancy and I guess that is subjective. I didn't want to make a scene and left after I paid the bill. It was disconcerting that my ask on the discount was outright dismissed and after I was made a promise when I started the account several years ago. Not sure what the future shall bring and I'm not inclined to have any future conversation with these folks regarding the issue presented above. Andrea is one of the kindest people I have encountered in a long time and they genuinely care about what they do and the people that come to their business. Their prices are unbeatable and the quality is phenomenal. I never write yelp reviews but I was compelled to do so because I was not only beyond satisfied with the service I got. But I left happy, Andrea and I had a great conversation and I left there feeling like I've been going to their business for years. It was just that good feeling you get when people go out of their way to ask you how your day is or get to know your name. It makes all the difference. Finding a good dry cleaner is like striking gold…read more Let's be real, nobody likes to take things in to be dry cleaned. It's such a hassle! But, I think dry cleaning reviews are extremely important. Especially if you are trusting them with an expensive item or something sentimental. I found this place randomly after having an IV that went wrong at UCI. There was blood on my legs, the floor, all over my arms and unfortunately, my coat (it got all over my pajamas. But I was not worried about that) I immediately looked up places on yelp and dropped my coat off on the way home. Not going to lie, I was sweating while dropping this off. This is one of my go to coats and it can't just be replaced. It was a huge investment piece I read their reviews and liked the photos they posted. I dropped it off on a Thursday and it was ready for pick up on Tuesday. (It ended up being done a day early) When I dropped it off They asked me questions like how long it has been since the blood got on my coat (less than 2 hours prior) They ended up texting me photos as well. Showing before , during the process and then the final product The price of getting the blood out and dry cleaning the whole coat was 55 dollars. It included getting the blood out and cleaning the whole outside of the coat. It ended up looking amazing, you can't even tell it had blood soaking in it. When I came to pick my coat up, Jamie remembered the coat and the stain. she immediately asked me if I was feeling ok now and if I was healthy now. This was just the second time seeing her, and for her to remember really means she's great with customer service and actually cared. After picking up my coat, jamie sent me a text a few hours later thanking me for my service and they appreciate their customers This place is located in a little strip mall and does not look like much, yet they do specialize in very high end pieces / wedding dresses. I don't even mind coming from Long Beach to this place. It's hard finding reliable services. (The person who tailors my clothes is also based OC) So, when I came to pick up my coat, I ended up dropping off more items Which were -Balmain cardigan -Versace cape -Ramy Brook dress. And these are all light colors. So you could see all the wear and tear. For me to trust a place with my capes, that's saying a lot, lol. When it came to my cape, she even sewed the buttons on since they were loose. I did not even ask her to do this. I was blown away by her attention to detail I'm really glad I had the chance to speak to Jamie Whether dry cleaning is part of your daily / weekly routine or if it's something you do once in a blue moon, I highly suggest this locally owned and operated / family owned and operated business. I can't stress how great, Jamie was I think it's safe to say, I will not go anywhere else for my dry cleaning needs. My coat looks brand new!
