This is the only place to trust with your nice clothes, after dealing with cracked buttons and fraying edges at a number of other dry cleaners, the attention to detail and obvious care CDM cleaners takes with my clothes is refreshing. My white shirts have never been brighter or better pressed and when I spilled coffee down a Loro Piana coat they got every stain out conpletely and wrapped every button and cinch to ensure it came back looking better then when I bought it. I went here to try them out with the offer on their site for first 5 men's laundry shirts free. I just moved to the area and need a good cleaner. I was told that offer expired almost 4 years ago, which after looking at it again, it did. Why the hell does this business have a bullshit offer on their site that is worthless? From 2013! This place does a great job with my clothes. I've never had a stain they couldn't handle, and they don't leave that chemical odor on your clothes that one encounters with some dry cleaners. However, they almost never finish my clothes by the date they give me for pick up. Despite this inconvenience, they're better, and usually cheaper, than other local dry cleaners. Just make sure to call ahead to see if your clothes are ready before you drive over to pick them up. read more

I dropped off two dresses here on a Tuesday morning. One dress was for a wedding I am in, the other I would be wearing for a wedding I would be attending on Saturday. They told me both would be available for pick up on Friday at 5:30 PM. When I showed up, they had the first dress, but had misplaced the second dress that I was going to wear the following day. When they finally located it at their other store, it had still not even been cleaned. I left without the dress I was planning to wear. When I came to return for it the following week, they charged me $17.55 per dress to clean, plus $20 for a 2" hem. Ridiculous. I would have given them a one star if they had not offered to drive my dress to me on Saturday morning. I was staying in South Laguna, so I opted out of their offer and simply wore another dress. read more

My washing machine and dryer are currently nonfunctional. I opted for their expensive fluff and fold service. The first 2 weeks everything went well. Then, I found several missing items. I reported it right away. I was not contacted even though I followed up next day until two days later. I couldn't enjoy my couch bc my cover was missing. When I spoke to the manager (Donna) finally, she said that their male customers who use the service would certainly tell them if they received items that weren't theirs. Nothing has been done; this was over 2 wks ago. I was advised to give an itemized list which I did last week. It was returned missing a towel and without a duffel bag. In addition, my clothes and sheets/duvet cover came back w grease stains all over. The manager Donna wrote this to me "Hi Carrie this is Donna at CDM cleaners I just got in and got your message we have done our best to keep you satisfied and to ensure that all of your items were returned to you as received we counted your pieces when we received them we called you when something was incorrect we checked The count before we sent them back to you and everything was put in the duffel bag packaged up that we received with the last order. When we receive fluff and fold we do not check for stains it gets put in the machine for washing and in your case we washed twice according to your instructions then put in the dryer for drying and folded up with your items only. I'm sorry it looks like with all of our effort you are still not happy so I am going to have the driver return everything that we picked up yesterday as we received it and return it to you . We are sorry we can no longer do service for you we apologize we were unable to keep you happy." She surprisingly gave No offer to rectify my damaged items and losing my clothes. It is hard to believe that this location has no Yelp reviews! The people running this location are charming, and the service I had requested was done very quickly and perfectly, unlike another cleaner in the area. Super clean location, very nice owner or manager, who gave me a coupon for future service, and welcomed me as a new customer. Seemed like very nice people, and I certainly was very happy with the services performed. The one downside is that this is a very busy high use parking lot - so getting in and out, and depending on the day of the week, or the time of day, it can be very hard to find parking. read more

I knew they were pricier than other dry cleaners, but I had a few things I needed cleaned and this place is 30 seconds from my house. I dropped off 8 things and was shocked to have my total come back $150. I asked for a breakdown... they charged me $35 for a beach cover up and $25 for a pair of overalls that only cost $50 when I purchased them. I mean seriously? Who would spend that much on dry-cleaning? The pricing was so completely ridiculous, the lady helping me even seemed apologetic when she was explaining the breakdown. This place is amazing!! Yes, they are more pricey, but it's worth it for the expertise and sense of detail that you get. I brought in a dress I planned to sweat for my masters graduation that had oil all over it. A day before my graduation I picked it up and they told me they wanted to clean it again because the oil was not coming out. I told them I needed it by 12pm the next day. When I came back at that time, the dress was perfect!! I was able to wear it to my graduation that day and there was absolutely no trace of stains. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I came in last week and dropped off 2 suits. The lady at the counter wasn't too welcoming. No greeting when I came in. But I dropped off my clothes m, she gave me a ticket but it didn't have prices. I picked up today, the lady at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I believe her name was Donna, she said she was the store manager. The total for 2 suits was $43, which is about double the price of most cleaners. But the place is very clean and modern looking. They also do free pick up and delivery which I haven't tried yet. The high price is the main downside for me which is why I have a lower rating. read more

UNREASONABLY HIGH PRICES!! I dropped off three short sleeve shirts to be dry cleaned. I was told that it would take 3 days to pick them up. I was disappointed at the length of wait, but left them anyway. When I went to pick them up, I was told the charge was $42!!! I have never paid more than $7 to dry clean these type of shirts, and usually only pay $5 for quicker service. To charge such a high amount for such straight forward dry cleaning is not, in my opinion, a reasonable or respectable business practice. I will never go back there, and I hope that readers of this review will find a more affordable, and quicker, dry cleaning service. read more

I rarely write reviews but I thought CDM deserves the positive feedback. Their service is impeccable. I have a family of five of which four have similar sizing. This can make sorting out the clean dry cleaning a pain. However, CDM cleaners organized the clothes by sizing and name brand!! There was no need to rip off the plastic covers and separate the clothes. Saves a busy mom some valuable time. Clothes are clean, clean, clean! The curbside drop off and pick up and the 20% discount for yelp users are an added bonus. Friendly service too! read more

There is no justification for the prices of their service Having just relocated from the Northeast US we are accustomed to higher prices and paying for premium services. There is no reasonable rationale for paying these prices for services offered. 25-50% higher than required. (at least ) Tried them a couple of times with a few items . Both experiences were price shock at pick up. Before I dropped off the second time I asked for a price list of services OK . I thought. try a Second time .. cost . double my expectation. When I asked for logic to their pricing approach the explanation was specific to mitigating their risk of damage incurred during their cleaning process. Cleaning clothing worthy of dry cleaning is their business. Their approach.. find a way to categorize every item in the most expensive manner possible. No contact in between .. then at pick up.. I had a very bad experience with CDM Cleaners. First and foremost, they lose valuable items of clothing and refuse to do anything to remedy the situation. I live very close by and decided to try them out because they're located right by my neighborhood Gelson's market. The shop has a very glitzy reception area and the representative at the front desk was very pleasant. After spending nearly $60 for fluff and fold laundry service alone, they lost my Hugo Boss pants. When I informed the front desk they said they would search for the item and contact me when it turned up. Long story short, about a week later they let me know they would not be able to recover the item and the owner refused to do anything about it. Now I don't know about you but when I pay high prices, I expect better customer service than what I would get from a strip mall laundromat.
