The Manager Oscar couldn't have been less helpful, no excuse other than "you signed release". Nightmare experience. Destroyed my luxury bag, terrible communication, and zero accountability…read more First, her alterations take far longer than quoted, and communication is poor. It is difficult to get a hold of anyone or your items back on time. I even had to bring a pair of pants back just to have a button re-sewn neatly and in a straight line. But the absolute worst part was my designer Jimmy Choo tote that I brought in for stain removal. She kept the bag a week and a half longer than quoted, holding it for 3.5 weeks total. When I came to retrieve my tote, my jaw dropped when she told me she ran it through a machine, and not once, but TWICE! This absolutely terrified me, and to no surprise, my tote was completely destroyed. The remaining stains were one thing, but the interior leather was frayed, stripped, and damaged beyond repair I was literally in tears seeing my bag returned like that. When I confronted her about the severe damage, she completely gaslit me. She claimed she isn't responsible, said she has no insurance, and told me to use my own. She kept insisting the ruined bag looks 'great,' and then insultingly claimed it isn't real leather, just fabric. If she doesn't know how to care for real leather or can't even tell what real leather is, that explains why she destroyed it. To top it all off, after destroying a luxury item and leaving the original stains, telling me it's not real leather, she had the nerve to offer me store credit for alterations or offer to try to "fix" the bag herself. Letting someone touch a bag they already ruined is insane. This business is awful to work with all around. Update: The owner's claim that I left satisfied is completely false. My boyfriend called her on my behalf the exact same day we picked up the bag, to let her know I was in tears over the damage.

I've used like 10 other dry cleaners and no one is as good as Power Cleaners! Also, Power Cleaners offers a pickup and delivery service which we use all the time. They deliver/pickup from a large geographic area so even if you live farther away like in Newport Beach, you can still get their service super easy without leaving your home. However, marking up alteration prices by approximately 50%-60% is simply not acceptable. I am so thrilled to have found Margaret's! George was able to fix both pairs of my heels, and he was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and professional. While I was waiting for my shoes to be repaired (which didn't take long at all), I noticed how polite and welcoming everyone at the shop was. I also observed the staff carefully inspecting other customers' items after they had been dropped off, which gave me an even greater impression of how attentive they are to their work and the care they put into handling customers' belongings.
