I adore this place. I have been coming to the studio for over a year, and it was the best decision that I have made for myself in a long time. I usually come five days a week. The minute I walk into the studio I feel a sense of joy, inner-peace and general well-being. Meliza, the owner, and her team are genuinely wonderful, caring and very professional. They are so welcoming and I love love seeing their pretty smiles. I always receive their full attention and they make me feel like I'm the only one in the studio. The space is a lovely sanctuary for the senses. Meliza, is such a bright young woman with a beautiful soul and energy. She created such a unique and gorgeous space where every detail, from the table, the rugs, and the wooden door, has a story behind it. One immediately feels the transformative energy of the space. I workout a lot and Worthy is great for muscle recovery on rest days, after traveling or just when you need to destress. Worthy offers different biohacking services and it's been fun trying out all the modalities they offer. My favorites are the sauna, red light therapy and ballancer pro. Once I enter the studio it is very zen, calming and aesthetically pleasing. There is a tea and water hydration station. Child care services are also available for parents. As a new mom, I am thrilled to have a local spa with childcare available onsite. I signed up for the infrared sauna and guided cold plunge to experience the new spa in town. With baby in tow, there was ample street parking in the morning so we easily parked and found the spa. Lovely to have a real treat on Ashby Ave! It was my first time in an infrared sauna sweating happily. I enjoyed sitting with my thoughts while smelling the sauna and feeling the warmth without getting super hot. The facilities are clean and well-stocked. Definitely use the lavender wipe offered and the loo. The sitting area is lovely inside for your breather between sessions. Turns out I can't get through the cold plunge (it's like a polar plunge) without freaking out and hopping out, and three cheers to my guide for being ok with me taking 1-3 breaths with her before exiting the water in a hurry. I have good memories of the cold plunge at Harbin Hot Springs (which was warm comparatively), and a decent experience running from Finnish sauna to lake in the winter (but now in retrospect I did swim in a hurry because it was so cold), so I was surprised by how my body was not willing to stay under water for a 3-minute cold plunge to experience the health benefits. Being super-warm right before getting into icy-cold water helped a lot (and I really do enjoy a circuit), so perhaps this slow-breathing situation is not my bag. I did buy the 5 credit pack at Worthy so I'll come back and try different things on the menu, perhaps bring a family member or friend to share a sauna! read more

It has been an absolute godsend to have this beautiful sanctuary to come to multiple times a week for all my wellness treatments. I started with sauna but have expanded into the guided cold plunging (Kaysha is a wonderful guide), red light therapy, lymphatic drainage and cryo treatments (love working with Kyra). And now I can't live without any of them! All the women who work here are absolutely delightful. I feel like royalty every time I visit, and I always leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, relaxed and pampered. I also noticed an incredible amount of physical health improvements since incorporating sauna and cold plunging into my weekly regimen. The Cryoslimming and toning treatments have been mindblowingly successful. I have lost inches around my midsection. My clothes are fitting differently and people in my life have noticed. Although this does require a healthy lifestyle and consistency to maintain results - and the staff are so helpful in guiding you toward the right plan/treatment. Great concept and these services definitely need to exist, but parts of the experience were unpolished or poorly designed. Worthy calls itself a "self care studio rooted in nervous system down regulation" but there are too many sensory things happening in the space to live up to that standard. For example, the treatment rooms have four walls and closing doors, but open ceilings, which means you can hear, see, and smell everything that is happening elsewhere in the studio. I say "see" because my own unrelated treatment was impacted by a fair bit of flashing light activity from the infrared light treatment room next to mine (I had to interrupt my treatment to request eye blinders). I say "smell" because the space was fairly perfumed with incense. Even with headphones and meditation music on, I could still hear what was happening elsewhere in the studio. All of this made the environment many times more stimulating than I expected for a self-care space. I did the lymphatic drainage experience, which I felt was poorly designed. There need to be better (fitted) garments to wear inside the contraption; the hygiene around the multi-use of that garment needs to be transparent; and there needs to be more privacy overall and staff sensitivity to privacy since those entering the machine are in some state of undress in a very ill-fitting garment. Either that or, if you are doing that treatment, they should tell you ahead of time about the garment situation. Every time the support staff opened the door to my room (which had to be done three times during my treatment in order to move me on to the next phase) people in the hallway could see right inside, where I was basically exposed because the garment they give you is so poorly fitted and was itself translucent. Because so much of the experience (and the space) felt unfinished, I was disappointed by the price. I'm happy to (and regularly do) pay a lot of money for spa and med-spa type treatments, but Worthy didn't offer the kind of flawless experience that the other pricey outfits charge. read more

My experience at Worthy was by far some of the most peaceful and transformative time I've spent in years. My brother booked us a sauna session and cold plunge for my birthday, and from the moment we walked into the lobby, we were put at ease by the cleanliness and overall beauty of the space. We were greeted by Meliza, the owner, and ushered into the gorgeous salon by Kaysha, who oversaw our cold plunges. As welcoming as the reception area is, the rest of Worthy is special in that it feels like a breath of fresh air. The salon is set up like an actual living room, with comfortable seating and an array of mindful activities. I indulged in a card pull while I waited for my brother to complete his cold plunge. Speaking of which, the way Kaysha treated us was exceptional! She guided us both through our cold plunges with the appropriate breathwork and affirmations. Her energy is bright and genuine, which is a must when doing this type of work. She even brewed my brother and me some tea to help us relax. By the time we left, Worthy had worked its magic on us. Y'all I'm shocked! The red light therapy and ballancer pro works! I'm writing this overwhelmed with gratitude and relief. I've been dealing with an eczema flare up for at least six months. However since I've been pregnant and nursing, I haven't been able to use strong medicines to treat it. Yesterday I did 20 minutes under the red light therapy and 20 minutes wearing the ballancer pro. The red light therapy is supposed to be good for the skin and the ballancer pro does a lymphatic drainage massage which helps remove toxins from the body. As a new mom who is trying to both heal and familiarize myself with my postpartum body, I've been trying to find sanctuaries for self care. I'm so glad I tried something new by visiting Worthy. Before setting foot here, I had never done an infrared sauna, a guided cold plunge, or a lymphatic drainage massage. I was curious and signed up for one of the packages that does all three, and it was such a unique experience -- simultaneously invigorating and restful! Meliza, the owner, was warm and welcoming. While both the infrared sauna and lymphatic drainage massages are mostly solitary experiences, I was very appreciative of Meliza leading the breath work and intention setting required to accomplish a cold plunge. I LOVED it. Additionally, this place is a labor of love, and it shows! The aesthetic of the spa/studio is gorgeous, with great lighting and beautiful design touches. After stepping foot inside its doors, I immediately felt my mood lighten. I've signed up for a membership so I can visit Worthy more regularly. Treat yourself and give it a shot! (P.S. Great experience using the infrared sauna and cold plunge here. The space is beautiful and very calming. We loved the comfy seating and Republic of Tea selections. I enjoyed the infrared sauna but I would have preferred it to be closer to 180 degrees where you get the most benefits (will def request this next time!). Allie guided us very seamlessly through the cold plunge after the sauna. We decided to get the package to cover three more visits to get a small discount this way. But it's still on the pricey side. Taking off one star for the $$$. I am ok with paying $55 for the sauna but you have to pay extra for a second person (I think $25 per service). That felt like an unnecessary surcharge to us for what is branded as "self-care service" ...that's just not as therapist driven as at a spa. read more

Perfect for supporting relaxation and rejuvenation. I tried the IR sauna, red light therapy, lymphatic drainage + red light on my face, and cryofacial. I happened to visit on a Saturday and was also able to participate in the fascial stretch pop-up and that was a bonus! Hands down, the cold plunge was the best service. The guidance I received, the intention I set, and that I completed the entire plunge have stayed with me since. I bought a Cryo facial package from this studio and paid $900 for 5 appointments. I had appointments on 2/28, 3/5, 3/31, 4/16. I did not see any results and was disappointed. When I told the owner that I was disappointed with the results, she responded that I was told that my appointments should not be months apart. They were unwilling to refund my money for the last appointment. The Cryo Facial is not effective and I would not recommend this service. If you are going to spend this kind of money I recommend micro needling or lasers. I did the Fraxel Laser in Costa Rica for $160 USD (one treatment) and it turned back time on my face, my fine lines are gone. My advice, buy a plane ticket, have a nice vacation, get the laser, and have all the love and light you need. read more

Kaysha was amazing and greeted me right when I walk in. She was so kind and loving and really made me feel comfortable during my appointments.
