Loaded chicken breast corn and cornbread

This place was amazing! They are seriously the best place in town in my opinion. Possibly mccreary county. This was my first visit and my boss and I really enjoyed it. The food seemed to be super fresh cooked and had really great pricing. I got tenders, fries, and mashed potatoes. I loved everything. My boss got a loaded chicken breast with corn and a salad and he usually complains a lot. But he talked all afternoon about what a good experience this place was. Great prices, great food, and great staff. You can't beat this place if you are in town, stop and eat here!

We have family that lives in the area, so make it a point to eat here whenever we visit. Very reasonably priced and the food is great! Service is super friendly like they've known you your whole life. Restaurant is cute inside with country themed decor - and so clean (even the restrooms). A couple of big, round tables, too, which are nice when you have a larger group. Great place to get fried balogna, if that's your thing. The country ham is delicious. I was looking for something healthier and their veggie omelet hit the spot (I chose to leave off the cheese, but it comes with it). Locally owned, so give them your business. You'll be glad you did!

First time couple weeks ago…read more Stopped after golf with 2 friends on a Saturday about 5 pm. Busy with 45 min wait but were told we could wait in the separate bar with first come basis seating. That's what we did and got seated and drinks ordered and dinner menus promptly, Bar /wait staff was very good for a busy time. Live music and crowd in the bar in a living room type atmosphere too loud for an intimate dinner more a sing along fun time place, separate from the main more quiet dining area. Got fried mushrooms appetizer and filet mignon as entree. The filet was high quality very tender perfectly prepared and had a wood grilled flavor. Also got a fresh garden salad and giant baked potato ...excellent well worth the $48 price. Others had a huge burger and cheese steak with fries. Both also very good. Too stuffed for desert but it looked yummy. Was impressed with bar drinks, beer and wine selections. Best steak I've had in this area from Lexington Ky to Knoxville TN. On par with nineteen 19 in Cumberland gap as nicest restaurant in the local area. I'll be back.

It was ok and would have been great if the lettuce was a spring mix or spinach and not iceberg. The fruit and feta cheese were fresh, the candied pecans were a sugary treat. The raspberry vinaigrette was light and refreshing. The fresh made bread was filling and I swear I could eat just that! Gretchen was our waitress, she was a delight and very efficient. The restaurant has ample seating with lots of rooms and had some beautiful photographs displayed throughout . This restaurant is a wonderful local place with a variety of options on the menu.

I saw several of my Yelp friends recommend a stop at the Museum and I was all in. I could hardly contain my excitement, seeing the iconic bucket marquee. Outside, in the perfectly manicured lot, stand petroleum artifacts from the Sanders early days as a gas station owner. A historical plaque describes the site. The Museum stands where Harland Sanders (the Colonel) once owned a small neighborhood restaurant, called Sanders. Here, his famous fried chicken took root. Inside, is a modern KFC counter. I be placed my order and was given a beeper. The Museum is filled with artifacts from 1940's to present including Sanders furniture, kitchen ware and an evolution of KFC logo packaging and trinkets. My favorite part of the exhibit was a video of Sanders describing how to prepare his chicken. I was truly inspired by his story as an entrepreneur. My lunch was fresher than any KFC that I had ever had. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The coleslaw was so brightly colored that I knew it was made within the hour. And the potatoes took me back to my childhood. We spent about an hour total at the museum. There is no charge, except your meal. Restrooms are clean. The museum is fun and interesting. I highly recommend a stop, especially if you're a KFC fan.
