Came in about 55 minutes before they closed. I was seated immediately and no one gave me a feeling of being rushed. I was able to order and got my food rather quickly and it was great. Enchiladas were made to order and a good size as well as my additional side order of refried beans. All in all I say a good value and excellent service without any hassle. read more

Traveling throught town...Wow! Our food and service were amazing! Wish we lived closer to go more often!

My husband and I made the mistake of trying this restaurant for dinner. The service was terrible. The waiter wouldn't listen, brought out the wrong food, wrong drinks, no silverware, napkins, etc. Once the "correct" food arrived, we revived a beef fajita quesadilla with 3 tiny pieces of meat, NO cheese, and a giant, greasy, dripping pile of onions and peppers. The chicken fajita taco salad, looked promising until I stuck my fork in it and discovered a shell bowl of grease that dissolved the side of the shell and poured out on the table. I wish I had taken pictures to accurately capture the disaster, but at that point we just wanted to leave. We shared our dissatisfaction with the food when asked, and the staff did not seem to care at all. We paid our tab and left hungry. Do not recommend! read more

The atmosphere is really great, however the food at least mine was AWFUL!! Oil soaked and not worth the price! Hubby said the fajitas were decent but not great. Water tastes like chlorine and the only thing we enjoyed was the salsa. When asked how we liked the food, I said it wasn't good (because I still had a full plate) she said you want to take it home? We are from Texas so we are spoiled with good spices. This is a rather bland Mexican restaurant in our opinion. We had the "New" chile rellano, which was described as having a special chipotle seasoning, and other special seasonings, but the flavor was a simple tomato base. We also shared the "New" steak chimichanga. The steak was a bit tough but the grilled onions and green peppers added nice flavor to the dish. read more

One of the worst experience! I was served uncooked pork and bad customer service! Pork served burnt outside and uncooked inside + combined with an inexperienced waiter = overall rating unsatisfactory. Gave our order to the waiter and asked for thousand island dressing with the salad. He came back with queso dip with no chips and salad with no dressing then he leaves. We assumed he was going to get the rest. After waiting for a bit, waiter comes back with only the main course, no chips or dressing. I asked for the dressing and he tells me that I didn't ask for any. So I reminded him and he tells me they don't have it. So I ask what do they have and he says he'll check. After waiting a while, I waved down another waitress for help and she immediately brought the thousand island dressing, chips for the queso and refilled drinks. So, I brushed off the first waiter's lack of customer service and stayed optimistic. I even looked past that my pork chops did not look like the picture on the menu. And despite having to use a butter knife to cut through the tough thick burnt meat, I gave it a taste but was disappointed that there was no seasoning besides the burnt taste it left in my mouth. I reluctantly ate the bland burnt pork chop until I reached the inner middle section where I found half of my pork chop was uncooked. Even though they had taken it back to recook it, by then it was too late. My appetite was ruined after finding out I was eating uncooked pork. I can no longer trust their food preparation and the lack of customer service as there were no apology given for the service or the possibility of food poisoning. Will not be returning. read more

Beautifully decorated and the food....really good. We have been to a few Mexican places from here to Knoxville and so far this is our favorite. We eat here regularly. Service is normally good. Food is normally good but does seem to have dropped off the last several months. Patrons have declined. I was at the restaurant today with a party of 12 when they weren't busy. We were there for 2 and 1/2hrs if not longer! They had an inspection start after we ordered our food and they completely forgot about us. Only a few people received drink refills. We sat for at least 40 mins before they said that it would be 10-15 mins before our food would be done also didn't even offer to get refills for everyone's empty drink's. They forgot my order and then they tried to bring it out 20 mins after everyone's else's in the party and everyone was done eating. They refused to give us a discount and tried charging me for my food that they didn't bring out and additional food that I didn't order! read more

Passing through while travelling, we randomly popped into this Mexican restaurant for a quick lunch. It was a pretty nice surprise - much better than your typical local mom & pop Mexican joint for sure. There were only a few tables, but we received great service from everyone. Complimentary chips & salsa were great, and the entrees we picked were perfect - and BIG portions. I had the California Burrito with steak, and it was made with one of the biggest tortillas I have seen a restaurant use. Loaded with steak, rice, grilled veggies, and topped with queso and mole sauce. I almost ate it all. The combo platter we had was nice, too. Their menu was a bit lacking in vegetarian options, but they made it easy to adjust. I noticed that it is described as a steakhouse, but we stuck with typical Mexican fare and I think this was a gem of a find for just passing through town randomly. read more

Had a chicken dish and wife had fajitas and both were good. The only bad thing would be what they call a margarita. More like a slurpee bit for $9, will get the job done. Our family stopped by here after a visit to Kentucky Splash just across the road. It's tucked away in a strip mall beside Wal-Mart so you might miss it unless you're looking for it. It is definitely worth the effort. The tacos were incredible! Street-style wrapped in soft corn tortillas and highlighted by fresh ingredients. The order comes with three and you can choose different meats. My favorite was the carnitas. I took a look at some of the other plates coming out and everything looked amazing. After a long day of hiking in 90° heat, my friend and I were CRAVING good Mexican cuisine, and Torres Steakhouse went far BEYOND what we were looking for. First of all, the restaurant strictly enforced social distancing. We felt safe being seated far away (12+ feet) from any other guests. Any guests who entered the restaurant unmasked were asked to put one on, and those who didn't have one or who refused (we witnessed two) were not admitted inside. Ramses was our server, and being the bartender also, he crafted us some of the best piña coladas and the freshest mojitos we've ever had. In fact, everything tasted fresh: the tomato and peppers in the salsa, the tilapia and spices in my friend's fish tacos, and the high quality chicken and beef in my enchiladas Mexicanas. The food was scrumptious, and we raved about it being some of the best Mexican food we've experienced in the States the whole drive back home to Tennessee. Absolutely mouthwatering. If you really want a good meal. THIS is the place to go. Tucked in between Pilot and Walmart back off the main street. We visit this place nearly every time we stop in Williamsburg. I highly recommend the Chicken Enchiladas. The sauce is full and savory, not your typical Mexican restaurant enchilada sauce. The rice has good flavor and perfectly cooked. We have tried a variety of items and nothing has disappointed! Must try the lemon cake!! The staff have always been inviting and attentive and during the covid-19 pandemic when they were open for dine in they truly took care to clean well. read more

This is an Amazing Steak and Mexican food restaurant. The steaks are tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly! The baked potatoes are large and the salad is crisp. The grilled shrimp actually has seasoning and is delicious and the tacos, burritos (love the black bean available on request) and any other dish you want have large portions and are delicious!! The last few times we've eaten here, they seemed short staffed (like everyone else around I guess), so we have had to wait longer periods of time to get our order taken and also just to pay our ticket. First off want to thank the waiter for the water he served me right after he handed us the check instead of getting it before my meal like I asked for when I ordered..The 32$ filet mignon we ordered turned out to be 48$ after we ordered it. The salads are average with packaged dressing. The Elote corn should be taken off the menu this time of year since the Cobb was small and out of season. The filet was good and cooked to specification but not a 48$ filet. The sirloin tips were good but the onions / peppers were served Luke warm along with the tasteless rice.. Ate here on Thursday evening prior to Friday's backpacking the Sheltowee Trail (20 miles of it anyways!) we read the awesome reviews and was not disappointed! Erma was our waitress, what a wonderful young lady!! I highly recommend eating here! We had the tortilla soup, spicy shrimp in a sauce over linguini noodles and the seafood fajitas! While traveling from Lexington to Atlanta, we stumbled across this place on Yelp. This will definitely be our new food stop when on this route. It's in the plaza with Walmart on the strip with Dollar Tree. Very easy to find. Restaurant decor is modern and clean. This is not your hole in the wall Mexican joint. Staff is nice and super attentive. The food was good. I had a combination plate with taco and enchilada (9.99) My daughters had the nachos , cannot remember price and the asada street tacos ($10.99). I'll be honest, I raised my eyebrows at this place based upon the exterior and location, but I'm glad we gave it a try. I ended up eating here twice! They menu had traditional Mexican fare and Spanish Steakhouse options. My first visit, I had the grilled fish tacos, which were perfectly portioned on corn tortilla. My second visit, I opted for the grilled salmon and vegetables. I also had a side of their house potatoes, which were served charred over a bed of chorizo. Surprising and delicious!
