As a coffee connoisseur, I'm always on the hunt for a perfect mocha. My quest mates with me, we tried the rich and creamy mocha latte, silky homemade hot chocolate, robust Cubano, and refreshing and unique Farmer iced tea. We also tried their golden speculous and salted chocolate chip cookies. Art and legend drift like an ambient candle through the atmosphere of this establishment. Brooke, the one woman army, was like an informant tavern keeper, answering all our questions, taking our orders, and crafting our drinks with careful diligence. This place is very roomy with plenty of space whether you feel like chatting across a table or reclining on a sunlit couch. I'd love to come here again when I'm in town. We were looking for a coffee shop on our way to the Ark Encounter and stumbled upon this hidden gem! The decor was charming and cozy, and the entire place was clean. The service was great and attentive. We ended up ordering a little bit of everything: sourdough French toast, oatmeal, a bagel breakfast sandwich, a sourdough breakfast sandwich, and of course, two dirty chai lattes. Cute building! They sell different types of coffee and pastries. They also have homemade jams, honeys, and meats for sale. The flavored syrups to put in your coffee are made in house as well! I got a pumpkin spice latte with almond milk and it's the best one I've ever had. So flavorful and really creamy! Definitely recommend and would buy again. My husband said the smash burger was okay. I ordered the Avocado toast because all the ingredients sounded intriguing. After waiting 30 minutes they came and said my husbands food was ready but they were missing a few ingredients for my order. I was charged $13 for 1 piece of bread a small amount of avocado, a tiny sprinkle of pistachio and 5 mandarin oranges. Wow--what an incredible find! Passing through town on our way to Knoxville and needed a bakery. So happy we found this coffee and bakehouse. Delicious, visually appealing pastries. The dark berry scone is incredible! House made coffee flavor syrups--I've never even heard of this! That is a sign of an owner who cares about is being served to the guests! Yummy brunch sandwiches. All wrapped in a cute, rustic coffeehouse shell. Excellent, friendly customer service. I was missing an item on my sandwich, the gentlemen (perhaps the owner) was apologetic and fixed the issue without hesitation. Great service. We had the Blueberry and lavender drop scones. They are served warm and fresh. Totally amazing. We also had the Sourdough toast with lax- it consist of house made sourdough, which smells amazing, topped with smoked salmon, capers, cream cheese, lettuce and red pickled onions. My wife had the House Bagel, it is made with sausage, egg, cheese, and toped with avocados , tomato and lettuce. Amazing place with great service and a relaxed environment. Pancakes was greasy, Eggs crispy with no run in them at all and when I was upset and let the owner know, he found it demeaning and argumentative. Take criticism and improve! We were traveling through town and found them on Yelp. We didn't check the hours and showed up after they closed. They still served us coffee despite being closed. The owner was very friendly and was telling us all about the different breads they make in house. He recommended books for cooking with Sourdough breads and was extremely knowledgeable. I love the addition to this "newly" redone coffeehouse in my hometown! It has always been a struggle finding great coffee in a small town, but not anymore! They brew Counter Culture Coffee which is one of the best in my opinion! Their selection of sourdough bagels is a nice touch, since I'd venture to say most people have never tried a homemade sourdough bagel. It's a super clean and friendly facility as well. You & Me Coffee & Tea is no more. The new business is Folktale. We stopped by around 3:15om on a Sunday afternoon passing through on the interstate. The prior establishment Yelp site says open till 6:00pm. New place actually closed at 3:00pm. Nonetheless, these gents stopped closing cleanup to treat us exceptionally well and sold us some drip coffee even though the main machine was shut down. The staff was way above average on friendliness and hospitality despite the natural tendency to simply want to lock the doors and go home. We were driving home from out of town and wanted to stop somewhere for some good lattes. We found that this was the only place open in Corbin on a Sunday morning.
