So we had to return the rented Xfinity Modem/Router. Visited this Xfinity store and was helped by Arece Steucy (Sales Consultant). He was courteous, professional, and promptly handled the Modem return. Then he did a superb job of consultative selling by asking about our cellphone service and sharing we could possibly save $42 over our current AT&T service. KUDOS to Arece and the Verizon/Xfinity training programs; as a former Nike director of sales development and customer management, I was IMPRESSED!!!

Which are EXCELLENT units for providing high speed WiFi coverage throughout the house! Now to address the LOUSY customer service. I thought I was going to a broadband service company. WRONG‼‼ Xfinity has made the decision that all they want is to be is a wireless phone re-seller company. The store was loaded with wireless customers who are being suckered into an unbelievable 1st year deal For wireless service (Verizon). After that 1st year, these folks are going to get a ROYAL SCREWING when the REAL pricing begins I waited almost 2 hours for a 5 minute purchase. The few broadband customers were as unhappy as I was. Some of them got fed up and left. Xfinity is going to have to DECIDE whether IT wants to be a broadband provider OR nothing more than a Verizon re-seller

Given my location, Bartlett, TN he recommended AT&T Air Internet Air for Business as AT&T did not have fiber. (C Spire has fantastic fiber) He indicated I would have "Speeds of up to 300 MPS, fast, reliable, and secure internet connectivity w/ best-effort speeds. No overage charges for data, seamless self-setup; just plug and play - only a power outlet is required and powered by the reliable AT&T cellular network. My experience in the first 30 days was great as it was Christmas/New Year's, and business was slow due to holiday. Once business ramped up, mid-January I quickly discovered that the service was highly variable, fast than slow, equipment would disconnect, and I never had enough bandwidth for ZOOM calls. Whole days would pass when I was the only person who could access the internet. I wrote Mr. Ebeling and AT&T Customer Service numerous over three-month period. I went to the AT&T Store and was told to hard-wire my laptop to the 5G Gateway. (Did that) Mr. Ebeling responded by saying that AT&T IT had blocked my messages and he had no opinion as he was in sales. Bottom line. I recently moved to C Spire. Amazing speed and FANTASTIC Customer Service. HOWEVER, AT&T is charging me over $250 for the gateway as I did not remain with them long enough to pay for the equipment. I have documented complaints (emails) to AT&T and their stance is "So Sad, To Bad". If you have any small business larger than a lemon aid stand, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES use AT&T Air for Business. One positive, the AT&T Air gateway System is quick to set up and would be perfect for casual use if you are retired or live by yourself.

I was with StraightTalk for years and never had issues and will be going back to them. I NOT ONCE GOT even half the speed I paid for for internet! The cell service is spotty at best! I missed 1 payment because my grandmother had brain surgery and I was out of down and they charged me multiple late fees and CONTINUED TO CHARGE ME LATE FEES EVEN AFTER I PAID MY BILL AMOUNT!!! I called several times and was left on hold for HOURS!!!! No one help or even tried! I was transffered to "MANAGEMENT" Who literally did LESS THAN THE FIRST ENTRY LEVEL AGENT!!! They operate in a compeltely unethical and scandalous manner!!! I have been trying to cancel and NO ONE WILL ANSWER!! THE APP STOP WORKING COMPLETELY!! I CANNOT GET THROUGH TO ANYONE!! IN one last ditch effort to get help I contacted the area supervisor TENESHA who was also less helpful than an entry level customer servcie agent!! They push people off refusing to help ENTRAPPING US AND FORCEFULLY KEEPING US INTO THEIR SERVICES!!! THIS IS A DISGUSTING MISUSE OF POWER!!!!!!! THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR PEOPLE AND 0 HUMAN DECIENCY!!! THEY ARE A FRADULANT TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY FAR AWAY!!
