Don't buy wheels and tires without going to World Wide Wheels & Tires. The awful stock Jeep tires on my awful stock Jeep wheels were getting pretty bald. I shopped around pretty much everywhere in Fresno and Clovis looking for the best deal. What I mostly found was a bunch of guys that I wouldn't trust to tie my shoe for me, much less sell me quality parts and install them on a vehicle that is going to be carrying my family. They assured me they were giving me a really good deal, and a lot of them were nice enough, but I got a horrible vibe. As I drove down Shaw Avenue, seeking to console my failing efforts with a delicious meal at Mad Duck Brewery, I happened to see World Wide Wheels & Tires. Already feeling defeated, I breathed a heavy sigh and walked in. Much to my surprise, I was immediately struck by the fact that Jim seemed like a good guy looking to make an honest living doing good work. I talked to him a while and asked him a bunch of stupid questions because I don't really know anything about vehicles other than where the gas goes and what the pedals do. He patiently answered all of them. It was also clear that he knew what he was doing. A lot of the other shops had to look things up and make phone calls to see what would fit on my Jeep. Jim just knew off the top of his head, which gave me great peace of mind. Then the rubber met the road and it was time to talk numbers. I gritted my teeth as I waited for the number, knowing it would be high. To my great surprise, his quote was about just a few bucks more than the LOWEST quote I had gotten prior to visiting his shop (all the rest were much higher than this). And for those few bucks, Jim got me better looking wheels and bigger tires (35" instead of 33"). And the lower quote was from a place that I didn't feel confident would deal with me honestly once they got the Jeep up on the rack. The little extra I paid was well worth it for something I liked better, and knowing that I was dealing with a decent person. I couldn't be happier with how the work came out. My Jeep went from a boring sissy Jeep to a tough looking beast. When I brought it home with the new look, my kids lost their minds. It's been several days and they still talk about how much better it looks. If you're looking to get some great looking wheels and tires, or I understand they also do some repairs, I don't think you'll do any better than Jim. As an added bonus, you don't have to drive to a horrible part of town. Thank you, Jim! I look forward to dealing with you again! read more

Worst service ever. I bought a tire from them because I had a flat and they had good price. After just 10 days the air went low on the tire. After that, in just another 10 days it went flat. I took it back to the guy and he said that he would have to replace the tire and charged me again. I assumed their might be some warranty but there is no warranty at this place. The guy just started shouting at me when I asked for a discount. NO QUALITY!! NO WARRANTY!! RUDE AND LAZY STAFF!! Why would anyone go here at all. read more

Someone recommended them to me for a second opinion on front end issues. Previous places quoted, I kid you not...$1700.00 and other place $470.00. we went, met the front end specialist. Great guy. Took us for a ride, checked car and repair bill was $139.00 which included alignment. Car no longer makes noise and easier to handle and turn. My to go place for almost 10 years. Like always, I contacted them first to get an "out the door" price. Les Schwab quoted the same price but I decided to go World Wide since I've used them before. Everything was good until it was done and I was on my way home. I noticed that I was charged a 4% fee so I turn around and went back (must be something new. I was there 2 years ago and they didn't have that fee) I asked Sean why I was charged the fee and he pointed to the sign (it was hidden/cover by another sign so he had to move it to show me) that all cards have a 4% fee. I asked why he didn't mentioned that to me on the phone. Sean didn't tell me that the "out the door" price was the cash price. If I would have known I would have gone to les Schwab which was closer to where I lived. I thought that helping a family owned business was good but it turns out they are no different. He offer to refund me the money if I PayPal him or bring him cash. Sorry, time and the inconvenience wasn't worth the service fee (if I would have known, I would have prepared cash). Sad to say but this will be my last time buying tires and getting alignment from this place. read more

I went in yesterday to get a valve stem replaced. It was 20 dollars so not bad. I asked if they sold used tires and he said yes, all used tires if we have them in stock are 30 dollars a piece installed. This wasn't a bad price so I told him I would be back tomorrow to see if they had my tire in stock. Arrived the next day with the car and asked if they had 2 used tires in stock that would fit my vehicle. He came back and said we do and it would cost 70 dollars. I thought the price was more due to the tire recycling fee. I then asked does that include new valve stems for those tires I was told yes. So I paid the 70 dollars and handed over my keys. They took my car immediately back and started working on my tires which was awesome. About ten minutes later another person came out of the shop and said I need new valve stems that they were leaking. I told him before I purchased I asked the guy and he said they were included. He advised me that this was only for new tires. That it would cost 4 dollars per valve stem. I knew only one was leaking and agreed but asked them to only change the one that was leaking. I then went in to pay the 4 dollars for the valve stem and he attempted to charge me 90 dollars. I told him I already paid for the tires, He agreed that I paid for the tires and took off the 70 I had already paid and he told me that I wasn't charged taxes, tire recycling fee (they were charging 35 a tire not 30 as previously advised), or for the valve stem. I told him what I was previously told by other employees and he only charged me 10 dollars more. So in total I paid 80 dollars for two good looking used tires and a valve stem. All in all I'm happy with that price, but I feel like they should really get the prices together on what they do and what they charge for products they sell. Kinda felt like I was getting screwed around due to lack of organization on their part. read more

Great prices on tires. Gave me options and didn't push to purchase a more expensive tire. Actually recommended a mid price one for the type of driving I do. Whole thing took 30 minutes. Showed me my old tires and what I needed to do to make the new ones last longer. I highly recommend this place and will be returning. read more
